I use 2.1 Eclair. There is one problem. The message and EDGE network are OK. But I can't get any calls. That means someone call me, they can find it's normal by their side, but my phone no ring or anything, just like no calls coming.
What's the problem to that? Please help me.

This happens to me too. Turns out the speaker is not
working (hence no ringing) and the screen remains
turned off, so no visual cue. But the phone is in fact
ringing and you can answer the call.

I think my phone has some problems. It often goes sleep shortly, about ten seconds.... And the light turn green. When it's asleep and the call comes in, the phone always sleeps. But my phone is awake, the calls can come in.

Thats a known issue, it appears after going to deep sleep you wont receive any calls.
How can I let the phone not deep sleep? I don't want to lose any calls.

Try to add this to startup.txt "pm.sleep_mode=2" ( without quotes ).

Here comes another problem. I have no idea whether it causes the problem that the wifi cannot search any networks in android. But the calls can come in when the phone sleeps now. May I have your help for the wifi problem?

Before booting to Android swicth "on" the wifi in WinMo.

I have installed the last xdandroid on my Touch Diamond2.
Everything perfect, but when the mobile is going in sleep mode, the green LED lights up, when it stays in this state I can not receive calls until restart it, although when I call my number, tone is heard ..
Any ideas?

I am sorry but the problem is in the kernel and there is nothing that can be done right now only by fixing the kernel.

I am real wondering that people ask for ROMS when this bug is still there.
I can live without sound, Flash, maybe WIFI but to receive calls is a basic.
-Are there people do not have this problem
- Is this depending if you have Monodie or not?
- Is there something I can help with debuging? It looks for me the whole call service is geting struggeling when green LED comes.

I'm reading that too, but on the other hand many people are stating they're using XDAndroid for days without the call sleep bug. And they have the same kernel as me, so that makes you wonder...
Has anyone tried this possible workaround?

I'm using pm_sleep_mode=2 which seems to be a good trade off between battery and the sleep problem. Sometimes after the phone has been going awhile outgoing calls don't work but incoming ones do. That can be fixed by going into airplane mode and back out again.
I tried all values 0 to 4 for pm_sleep_mode, but no luck. I even made sure I had a new data.img created every time for every value. Nothing. First incoming call immediately goes wrong.
The screen goes black (more like dark bluish) very often, This happens very often after a call ends too, sometimes you cant see the incoming calls, the only way to get rid of it is to, press the power button, but the incoming call gets disconnected, please help, searched online no solution, if i use any gingerbread rom, it works without any issues, please help

I don't know anything about your phone to offer any solution. The more information you provide, the greater the chance of finding out the cause of your lag.

I have the same issue with mine I thought it was due to water damage but I don't think is. It's proberly lag but then I find if you have volume to wake enabled then this never happens but that depends of the Rom has that feature or not

When someone makes a phone call to me and I try to answer it, the phone either "stutters" and keeps ringing until I push the power button and then on again to answer the call. Also even after answering the call, it vibrates one more time which I find very annoying.
Is it just me or do all XZs vibrate that loud? Vibrations are even more obvious than my ringtone lol.
Another thing is probably related to the hotspot Im using. I use Connectify Hotspot pro for wifi on XZ, it disconnects and becomes unavailable all the time so I have to restart my hotspot everytime.
Anyone else getting these too?

Either a faulty phone or corrupted firmware.
I've had problems like that with the black Xperia Z then traid it for the white one and now everything is good n perfect dont known,maybe the problems are in the first models that come out just saying maybev

I had this problem with S, T and Z too. Different firmwares.
It's happening when using BT, when another party is calling, when i want to quickly answer etc.
On T for example i had to wait until the call was not answered.
But it's happening maybe twice/month.
Well thats just disappointing.
I dont have any problems with it.
And I'm using connectify too. Have you try flash your fw?

What this guy is sayin is definitely right,I agree with it bein a faulty phone. It could be the firmware though,reset your phone.
It turned out that my laptop could turn off lan adaptor to save battery, so the wifi connectivity is fine but the other problems are still there.
Or not lol... Wifi hotspot disappears all the freakin time when Im downloading something
I can't seem to get "assist" to not accept calls while in sleep mode. All calls ring through no matter what. I have "silence" checked and if I set the time from 7am-5pm when I test it with another phone the call comes through. The phone number I am calling from is not marked as a favorite. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've found this feature to be so buggy that it's not even usable. I had the same problem as you, and read tips online that say to reset the app data. I did that, reconfigured the app, and then sleep mode worked as advertised. Next day, busted again. If you want to reset the app every day, that seems to be the only way to get it to work. Lame...

I have a Nexus 6 running Benzo ROM (5.1.1) and I have a GPS Nuvi 3580 bluetooth-enabled which I want to use to make calls while driving. I have added this device to my trusted devices so my phone unlocks as soon as it connected to it.
If my phone screen is on, then I'm able to call anyone from the bluetooth device, no issues. But as soon as my screen goes off, I can't make calls and when I switch on the screen on my own, I see a message "Process system isn't responding. Wait or close?"
Irrespective of what I select on this message, the call goes through. But it totally defeats the purpose of handsfree bluetooth mode. Is there something that is not allowing the bluetooth device to wake my phone up and then place the call? How do I solve this?
Any help will be appreciated.

I would suggest a return to stock, to start with for trouble shooting. No problem on my stock, rooted N6 with Bluetooth/screen off.

Yeah I'm thinking of going back to stock but I really like the features of this ROM. I'll see when I get the time to do that and will update then.
