-please install the original 1.36.407.1 first to get the new 1.36spl and 0.63.05.36-radio
- Always do a Hard-Reset after flashing (before the installation) and leave the phone alone until in reboots (silent-UC). the wizard will continue after automatic reboot.

i'm really tired of reading this exchange-reports in all my rom-threads.....
BUGREPORT-CHECKLIST
1. do you use the latest version? if yes: go to 2; if no: install latest version
2. did you install additional software or customization/mods? if yes: hard-reset
3. re-test without anything installed
4. test without SDCard inserted if experiencing battery drain issue (backup/re-format [32KB clusters] and find/delete corrupted mp3's etc.)
if the bug still exists after you followed the 4 points,
you should post it with detailed rom-version info (version & build & radio).
if everything works as it should it's also appropriate to write something like:
"good work. no bugs found."
this will help the rom-thread to keep active on the first pages and keeps me motivated.

looking forward for your rom.
Two questions....can you remove the old Mobile Office and inser office 2010 by start, cause at new installation of office 2010, there will still old icons and some sh*t.
At the moment you need to move the "notizen" and "aufgaben" to the new office folder and delete the old office folder by hand.
Second question, the high compression of the sense, doens´t slows it up with this?

office mobile 2010 was shortly integrated into com3 (afaik since 2311X).
om2010 icons fixed. notizen and aufgaben moved to outlook folder.
2.
no. rom is very responsive . especially the removed other lang files caused a speed boost (around 1200 files).
and... more storage space left (around 70MB).
first rom should be online in 10min.
cn v hv a english ROM?
maybe later. i want to fix the exchange-bug in my hd2-roms first.
hspl for hdmini would help to make testing more efficient.
i do have an exchange problem.
having connex to exchange server, but syncro dosnt work.
if i setup an exchanxe connex on my hd2 i will be asked to enter a pin.
after entering those pins snycro starts.
on my hd mini this question for a pin do not appear.

uploading second rom.

tested your Rom but syncronisation still don`t work, with exchange and without.
1. yesterday Installed your first Rom onto my original latested HTC Rom with some changes, syncro didn`t work.
2. then reinstalled the latested official HTC Rom.
3. today tryed your version .2 but still syncro don`t work.

at first, thx for the ROM. at the first glance after 15min i like it
but also here, synchronisation via activesync for getting outlook contacts, notes etc doesnt work.
at installation i applied your orders, no problems.
i just did 3 times, deleting connection of active sync to my hd mini, and renewed it, but still, synchro doesnt work.
have to flash htc rom again, i need my contacts and other stuff.
as soon as there will be a newer version, i will try it.

I have the same problem. Sync with exchange didn't work with ROM 1.36.407 from ORIGINAL HTC.
With Vodafone DE ROM it is working.
Has anybody any idea, what we can do?

Hi,
yes, really. first i thought, that the data connection doesn't work correctly, but i tested it, and everything was o.k. there must be any problem of syncronisation between mobile mail and outlook exchange. it is not possible, to sync. everytime the sync was stopped with a fault. i will try later and send the fault number.

I have tried all Opera builds but not one of them seems stable enough to support flash!
In V7 I've used latest Opera build 15316 as cab so I leave it up to you what you do with it.
One thing do, because of the latest Esmertec Jbed Opera is improved a lot!
Internet Explorer 6 is stable and support's flash, Youtube movies play excelent in it smooth and clear!

A warning before you flash this rom!
You must flash HardSPL first to be able to flash this rom!

An alternative is USPL, it doesn't change your original SPL!

Tips about flashing the rom:
Best is to have your device fully charged
Switch off your device by holding the Power button untill a menu popsup.
Go to bootloader by holding Volume down + Power button at the same time.
Connect your device to your PC
Start BlackStoneCustomRUU.exe and follow the onscreen instruction's.
An alternative is to flash your device from storage card:
Rename RUU_Signed.nbh to BLACIMG.NBH and copy it to your Storage card
Follow the above steps to go in bootloader
A messages will popup, push power button to start flashing or Volume down to cancel
After it's done a new message popsup, softreset your device.
Aldo I have tested this rom many time's and it's currently running on my device I don't take any responsability incase something goes wrong with your device!

Love your work, Laurentius. Have used your ROMs many times. I'm curious about the 8mb pagepool. Do you think it might be the optimal size? I'm currently playing around with my own ROM, and have set my pagepool at 16mb. Seems to be quite responsive, but if it's excessive, I should change it. In Canada, I'm on Rogers, which supports Caller Name Display. It will show who is calling, even if they are not in your contacts list. I've replaced the rilphone.dll from the Rogers Diamond ROM and it is working, which is why I'm trying to cook my own ROM, but I'm having trouble with my packages, they seem to install, but I don't have any shortcuts in my Program directory. Do I need to do anything special when I create a package from a cab?? Thanks for any help I can get.

@Dann, I dont think he will be tweaking the radio for that. Its going to take alot more than that. Trust me im dieing for 850/1900 UMTS bands to be enabled. It MIGHT be able to be done by using the radio out of a usa Touch Diamond....

No. I include the new Version of Manila (Build 1911.1733). This is the new Version, wich came with the new HTC iolite.

The other ROM, who cames with my costumize theme, I remove the analog clock, so you can't restore the analog clock in this Version.

Hi,
go to Setings => Phone => klick the tab "Band" => Change your Network type to WCDMA...thats all. Now you have 3G.
I edit only that this ROM should prefer GSM Network.
Any chance for a german version of this ROM? (I don´t own a Jade but a friend of mine.)
Maybe later, when HTC release the German ROM.

Yes its the Internet Sharing - I use it to connect my notebook to the internet for terminal- and other remoteservices by driving "S-Bahn" in the morning/evening.
I connect it with bluetooth-pan.

The ROM is good and fast, but the Battery is rapid down. I have the Radio 1.14.....

I know, I excluded it because I never used it, I know my settings and the auto setup uses bad settings (not fitting my internet flat)....
My battery life here seems to be normal, but I'll release a new 23001 version with hopefully the DE R3A soon

You can't update, unfortunatly, you have to reinstall all, like after a hard-reset... but you can backup your picutres and that stuff on the microSD card, and the personal data with PIM backup, that's how I'm doing it...

All junks will be remove for the lite rom. And eventually comes w/ a super full rom w/ Chinese support. It may contains lots of software you may not need. Just take the lite rom, OR remove the shortcut and pretend they are not there for the full rom
Some removed apps (MMS, Dialer, Opera, panels ...etc) and lots of useful software are included in the UC SDconfig package below.
Lite Extreme (Free storage/Ram 414mb / 164mb): Sole purpose is boot fast (35sec) and use other OS (e.g. Android). Not intended to work proper as Windows Mobile

Installation
Installation (**UC start automatically in first boot**):
Install HardSPL
Use RUU tools or Micro-SD method written by me
Optional: Download my UC package, extract that to the root on yr SD card (can be the same card for flashing yr X1)
Optional: Rename sdconfig.txt.sample to sdconfig.txt. Review the UC content and sdconfig.txt. And put the SD in yr device in first boot. (Tips to re-run UC after the 1st time)
Convert 2G to 3G video dialer: Install HTC_2G_to_3G_dialer.cab and HTC_3G_Video_Call.cab in the UC package.
Some cabs and extra files you may need.
UC package template w/ arcsoft MMS, removed panels, games, Opera (tweaked to use ramdisk) ...etc. (Please review sdconfig.txt before proceed)
HGPS Switch if you use TMC driver with your GPS software
UC ROM SDConfig.txt Builder. Highly recommend tools for UC process.
HTC task manager. Install and soft-reset
Other SIP for CE star (For ML version): Japanese (extract to /Windows), Zhuyin注音 ,ChangJei, pinyin
FlashLite 3.1 for Opera is builtin but some videos in youtube require flash9 support which could only play w/ flashplayer7, choppy but works)
6Fg8 Power Radio (For FM radio playing)

How to use my SDConfig package (learn UC here):

1. Extract the zip file to the root of yr micro-SD card and you
should have a directory structure w/ SDConfig.txt under "\Storage card":

2. Myinfo.xml is for personal information Name,
email that can be generate easily w/ the tool I suggest above.

after hard-reset. And put the needed files in corresponding folders.
4. My supplied SDConfig.txt example will:
a. add back the Xpanel w/ panels apps I want
b. install Google map, opera ...etc
c. Copy/move shortcut for start menu
d. Copy the license file [U][B](NOT INCLUDED)[/B][/U] for Resco Apps
(Explorer, picture viewer ..etc), Core player, Gamin Mobile

IGO8 may not detect rom's device type and crash. put the following in sys.txt:

Some phone carrier may provide incorrect time info. Turn off time sync if you encounter time issue.

Not actually a bug. Manila music not support AVRCP by default. My patch add AVRCP support but playlist will be lost after reset. If you need playlist working rather than AVRCP, extract this to /Windows with Resco Explorer

Tweaks:
For all WM rom, SIP change may become slow after lots of software installed. Here is the solution that works by re-import the CLSID in registry. (Backup first!!!)

AGPS setting is imported from AT&T Pure, and tested to be working (not sure for other carrier and region). If you have a wireless data plan and want to enable it, set 1 to HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\EnableAGPS. Note: it will start data connection automatically everytime you use GPS!!!

Remove IPV6 support (doubt if anyone would use it. Reg to re-enable it)
Finally a woking AGPS settings (don't confuse with Quick GPS) imported from AT&T Pure. Tested under AT&T (not sure about other carries and region). Read tips above for how to enable it if you have a wireless data plan.
Add back USSD since a few selected people use it. (I personally disable it by UC)
Add back Widget system. To install 6.5 widgets, simply click on the *.widget files in my new UC package.

There was a person on youtube replied me back. He said Xperia x1 and x2 will be supported Wm7.. and i was like you must be mistaken. WM7 requires higher specs and xperia is gonna be = wm7? does anyone knows if this is true? He even said it's on official SE website and i went there, i couldn't find any. Please reply back if anyone knows about this.

It so good to see your new post. Waiting for your new rom. Any X2 utilities in this rom?
Just to clarify, it's going to be WM6.5.1 (21889) with Manila 2.5 (non landscape, having a hard time to get the landscape version working correctly. But is working on that).
None of X2 will be integrate (except some drivers) since all X2 stuff I see so far are either ugly, buggy, or useless. But of course, you are free to use the package on my rom.
Roms are ready but take me some time to upload and finish up the SDconfig (UC) package. (UC are automatic again in the first boot for all versions).
