Theses are the older ones but quite good.
A friend of mine went from a BJ to a BJ2 to a tilt, then decided an iphone was going to be better than what i had. I showed him a powerpoint presentation someone emailed me on my Fuze (touch pro) and he kinda just tucked tail between legs and probably has device envy now.
The ipwn is a slick device, but nowhere near as powerful as most winmo powered devices.

Can someone explain why the Desire HD doesnt meet your needs?
Or is it the point of having the desired outer shell and being able to change OS's at your choosing?
...basically the HD2 syndrome...
Probably because they don't have a DesireHD, they have an HD7.

hi, morpheus.. thats an excellent question. i'd love to get the desire. but i read that its hardware is similar to hd2... and the hd2 has call quality problems. but a friend of mine said that the call quality is clear... so i dont know if i should get the desire.
also, i was looking the the htc inspire. i'd like to dual boot wp7 and android on it. i'd like to know if this is possible. but i'm also worried about the batt life on it.

Because the DesireHD isn't on T-Mobile and the HD7 was the biggest screen available? I don't have a HD7 myself but what do you people have against having an option for other operating systems?

Would you settle for a Ford because the garage didn't have a Ferrari? That's the lamest excuse I've heard in a long time...
It's not Close mindedness, it's common sense. You want Android, get an Android phone. You want Dual Boot? Get a device capable of doing it.
Dual booting will become a reality for WP7 devices, it's only a matter of time. But creating Dozen's of threads on it isn't going to speed things up. If anything it'll slow it down.
My prediction is all of these WM6.5/Android threads will become redundant once Mango's released anyway, and people won't want to switch between OS's cos there'll be no point.

It is close mindedness, although I agree with the fact that if you wanted a Android he should have gotten an Android (I did, only reason I come to the HD7 forums is because my dad has one and I play with his). How did devices that are capable of dual booting come to be? It wouldn't have been possible if everyone was in mindset "I don't want that cause I have this".

And replying to every thread with the same canned off topic response is no better, sure he should have searched but being pricks isn't going to make him search in the future, it might just drive a potential future dev away from XDA.

I've been hearing good things about Mango and I think that WP7 will become a real competitor to iOS/Android once it comes out, until then however it is another story.
Who wouldn't want a device that can dualboot. It also preserves the life of the device in a sell/trade aspect.

I've seen exactly the same thing. The 1230 capacity battery on the Desire HD is way too small for a phone with 1ghz processor and the big screen.
The HD7 has the same specs of course, but because WP7 doesn't allow multitasking and background jobs the battery life isn't so much of an issue.

Personal opinion. WP7 is my favorite OS out there. I'll admit it has it's limitations, but for me there is no competition. It does what a smartphone should do better than any other device out there.

There's a penetration testing thread in the tp2 forum that works for many HTC winmo phones that I've been playing around with on my fuze.
I'm still pissed that it got made a legacy device when it did. At the time, there were at a page of new posts everyday added to the dev section. And they weren't noobs asking stupid questions in dev either. On top of that you had the moto backflip and other crap which had no dev support period being added every other week.
From a chef, what do you think would be cool to do to a non daily driver touch pro? I can't bring myself to put that thing down.

I too have the good ole TP ( Fuze ) Will never give it away - and yes me too way very emotionally attached to Fuze dev section - but sadly we had most of the ROMs discontinued - I discontinued mine also ( for public ).
I think only NRGZ cooks regularly for Fuze, TAEL, JMC etc etc all were discontinued or were no longer supported. Hence, it makes sense to send it to legacy devices - and hey it's not that legacy devices sections are not accessible just a click away.
Well I just play with my Fuze cook a new ROM once a while - just use it for a couple of hours in a week - if I;m feeling nostalgic - I just use it for a day or two.
Won't sell it as it will fetch me pennies compared to what I bought it for.
And I agree, some devices have disappointed as hardly anyone develops for them - but now we are much more careful about what we add and what we don't.

Although - XDA Shutdown i remember - was pretty swoosh I even themed it for my ROM and I think so did NRGZ. Can;t recall who the dev was - maybe hilaireg or DaveShaw they both were Fuze owners and devs, very active on the forums and helped me alot.
