wifi tether to wii problem

i have been using wifi tether 1.6 with my mac with no problems but i cant for the life of me get it to connect to my wii...any help will be appreciated
Wii does not support connecting to an adhoc wireless network. No way to do it, I have tried a million different ways.

I know, doesn't work on the DS either. Sucks but it is what it is.
On the bright side, evo users can now make a full infrastructure network. Arguments to up grade are getting more and more convincing.

Mobile AP

Anyone used it ??
Mobile AP is wifi tethering or Hotspot
I used to tether galaxy Ace and other nokia phones with SGMini, to let my friends surf internet.
Just make sure one thing that a password should be must.
Thanks Me If U Can
Yea mobile AP(access point) comes handy in wireless and USB tethering via hotspots etc.
So you can utilize your phone as modem or wireless router to access internet on other devices.
Used it a couple of times but i generally prefer my wireless broadband ^^

I have this issue too but I have a Motorola Photon. I hear that the PSV only accepts non ad-hoc WiFi connections or something like that. If I switch on my Mobile Hotspot that came built into the OS, then the PSV sees that just fine and connects to it but the internet does not work because my carrier does not allow it. So we basically need to use an app that creates a hotspot just like the phone firmware does it seems. Does anyone know of one? My phone is rooted.
I've gotten my phone to teather my old psp 1000 with the Optimus and softap settings on so I'm assuming this will work for the vita too

Forget the 3g dongle, this is what I use and I find it to be the best option for wifi tablets. Not only is it TRUE unlimited data with no caps, but you also don't have a foreign object hanging off the side of your Nexus7.
I upgraded my home modem to the clear spot voyager and this tiny wifi mobile hotspot gets way better signal, fits in my pocket and goes anywhere I go with a charge that holds up to 8 hours. The same as the Nexus 7 battery capacity.
The best thing is when I upgraded from "home" to "mobile" 4g with Clear they let me keep my premium unlimited plan and cut the cost to $25 a month! This modem/router serves also as my house modem since I can connect 8 devices to it!

First subscribe to hot spot shield elite from Google play store ,it's 0.99 cents a month, turn it on then the tether treV mod. That will do it.the hot spot shield helps to block T-Mobile.
Is that the only way to do it? Darn t-mobile! I could do it fine on my galaxy s blaze on the t-mobile network..

What are you tethering to that sets off the alert?
I tether Gigs to my Nexus 10 with no issues. I'd try using Chrome as your browser on a PC and trying the Spdy and internet speed boost options. They reroute through the chrome servers and it may mask your device type if using a PC

I tether with no problem using native app on Elegancia Rom. I have the unlimited $30 plan that has no tethering included.
