[Source] Amon_RA recovery source code - Vibrant Android Development

Team,
Here's a link to Amon_RA's recovery source code if it helps:
http://github.com/packetlss/amonra_bootable_recovery
And here is a link to his custom scripts:
http://github.com/packetlss/amonra_recovery_scripts
They are posted on jithub.com
Here's the main link http://github.com/packetlss
Since they are posted on the internet I don't think he would mind if a dev wanted to alter and recompile them (giving him credit) to meet the needs of the Vibrant.

Nice find

Now that's what i'm talking about. Good stuff.

I have this weird inkling to build a gingerbread house now.
not that i can build anything in the first place. at least around here. lol

yup lol im trying to revive this thread haha

It's there any real advantage to his recovery that isn't provided in the ones available now?

dont we only have clockwork?

I want to stay with clockwork. He show his support since the begging, at least we should be loyal to them. Since I have my vibrant I love how simple is clockwork, same options as Amon. At the begging it was different but now I LOVE IT

Clockwork works solid. But I do miss amon from the g1 days!

I upgraded from the htc hero from sprint, and I do miss this recovery

I forgot all about the carebears.. Didn't use amon that long.. My g1 still has the jf + cyan recovery with the console for typing your own user scripts..

[ROM]T959KA5 CWM-DeOdex-Root-Modded 3e-[2011.01.13]

EDIT: DUE TO SAMSUNG CHANGING THE SMALI BINARIES, THE APK'S AND JAR FILES DID NOT RECOMPILE CORRECTLY. Because of this, when you flash, you will be greeted with about 1/4 of the apps, and only 1 icon on the launcher, and a lot of FC's from acore. I am working to resolve this, but seeing as how I haven't gotten any work done today, It wont be until later I can get to this. I have removed the link for the time being.
I apologize to anyone who did flash this before this was identified.
Here you guys go.
Sorry it took so long to get this up. Samsung updated the smali binaries, so I had to update mine (thanks Sombionix)
Removed a couple of Apps to allow for system space. (I saw on the Odex'd thread that some people wanted Layer, so I left that for you.
Here we go:
Firmware: UVKA5
Version: 2.2
Basband: T959UVKA5
Rooted: Yes
DeOdexed: Yes
Modded Recovery: Yes
Correct CSC Files: Yes
Download: removed due to deodex issue. will edit link once it's fixed.
Thank you, looking forward to trying it out

Nope, not at all, and actually, I thought about using it, however, people request pure stock when ever we post a modded leak. So this way, they have their pure stock, and if they want, they can use the VCK to mod it.
Best flash method?
Cause If I don't ask someone will, what is the best method of flash. Odin stock->KA5, disable voodoo/lagfix first then just flash cwm, etc. Thanks again for the quick turnaround on this build.

with new builds I like to odin to stock first and then flash. To me this seems like it minimizes any problems you could have when flashing.

This is probably a stupid question but, does this kernel include the signal drop reboot fix for i9000 roms or is that something I need to do in addition to the kernel? Also if Its not included do I intall the reboot fix before or after I install a i9000 rom?
Thanks in advance

Voodoo sound is a set of tweaks and optimizations made by supercurio, that enhance the audio playback and introduce additional audio features. That may be a simplification but that's what I understand it to be.
Edit: somehow supercurio morphed into supererotica in swype
