PS3 controller and Droid x - Droid X Android Development

I just recently bought the psx4droid app and love it and see that you can use a wii remote to play with it. Since the wii remote uses Bluetooth to connect, and there are ps3 Bluetooth remotes I was wondering if I could hook up the ps3 remote to play my games? Any one know if this is possible?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App

Even though there is the wiimote app, it would be nice to have the ps3 controller as another option. Especially considering the fact I have a ps3, but not a wii.

Most people that are interested in things like roms are more likely to have ps3 than wii

I just don't want to use a weird controller for my games lol
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App

The PS3 controller is much more complicated to pair with. I believe it also requires the phone to be rooted (in order to spoof the bluetooth ids).

Well the x is rooted lol so thats not a big deal I just can't find an app and the wii remote is annoying

You can get a Wii Classic Controller Plus and plug it into the Wiimote. That's what I'm doing for now.

Its about 20-30 dollars. You just plug it into the bottom of the wiimote, thats what I use. You can use either classic controller pro(above) or the regular classic controller(below).

And it plugs straight into a regular wii remote? If so thanks to that info I'm my way to check it out.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App

Yes it plugs into the Wiimote. It has all of the buttons you need and then some. You just need to map the buttons. Easy fix. Check your local GameStop for a used one.

A new music player from Motorola made it’s way onto XDA this weekend courtesy of member phoezies, that we’re super excited about. While we’re still not sure exactly where it came from, it’s possible that it came from either the new Blur found on the BIONIC, but is more likely from the CLIQ 2. Talk about the ultimate media player though. Not only does it control your entire music library, it also has FM radio and SHOUTcast capabilities, lets you play videos and search YouTube, brings TuneWiki into the fun, and even lets you identify songs using SoundHound. Highly recommended.

I guess not! My bad
Anyone knows how to add video to play with this app? I can't seem to add my videos on it.
This is the most feature packed music app i've ever seen, granted i've not seen a ton of them . Love how it auto finds the words for most of my songs. Shoutcast, top 50 songs by region, etc. VERY nice app. Don't know why the devs aren't incorporating this into all the roms.
This music app is beast! Thanks for posting it

I've thought about canceling the cable too, but what would be a comparable setup to cable? I've got Netflix and know about hulu but what else is there? Even if it costs for some kind of subscription, its gotta be cheaper than cable.

Apps you purchased with your $25 Google Play credit

I'm looking to spend my Google Play credit on some nice apps and I was wondering what did you purchased so far.
No games, music or books, post just apps please. Thanks for sharing.
Beside the ones I already purchased before, I got Tasks because it looks like being part of JB. Superb notifications and it syncs with my Google Apps tasks. This is how it looks on my Google Nexus phone:

Not owning Titanium Backup Pro and Root Explorer is against the law.
I did splurge on Pocket Cloud Pro though ... and a few games.
Apps I happily bought: Tapatalk, Merriam Webster Dictionary, Bacon Reader, GRave Defense Game, TurboFly HD Game, Canabalt HD Game, Spirits Game, Pocket Weather Australia, Zen Bound 2 Game, Nexus Media Importer (connect usb otg without root).
Apps I regret buying: Beautiful Widgets - terrible terrible app.
Lux Auto Brightness - jumpy auto brightness especially at night.
Thumb Keyboard by BeanSoft - get TouchPal keyboard instead. It is free and less cluttered plus you can swipe to type.

Titanium backup is a must if you are rooted.
Another one I couldn't live without would be Tablet Talk which syncs your tablet to your phone via wifi, and you can take calls, send/receive text messages straight on your nexus, and the coolest part is it syncs everything to your phone, and sends texts and calls using your real mobile number.
Root explorer
Mobile Odin... for flashing ROMs and kernels
Still got $15 of my credit left and waiting for other worthy apps to purchase along the way

Fifa 14 sixasis profile

Is there a way to play Fifa 14 through sixaxis controller with sixaxis controller app? Or if there is an edited profile already?
Inviato da mio nonno col telegrafo
Yes there is a way using the virtual button layout. If you are familiar with the sixaxis application you will know about the mouse emulation. Very handy for navigating menus instead of touching. But for some unknown reason fifa 14 doesn't support this. No idea why. But fifa 14 for Android and iPhone will be getting full gamepad support at some point like it's console brothers. Is just a matter of when. But it will be in the next update that's for sure.

I know this is an older post but you can access Google StreetView 3D. If you freeze Gear VR Services, open maps and go to a street view. In the bottom right corner you will see a black button. Tap on that button twice and you go into SBS 3D view. Put your phone in the Gear VR and you have a 360 degree view. Sensors seem to work pretty well and even the touch pad works. Hope this helps a Lil.
