Nexus One Browser Port mod for Spica (mdpi screen) - Galaxy Spica Themes and Apps

Reposted from HERE
Someone at the sdx-developers forums had worked on a port for the Nexus One web browser and released it. It is my fulltime browser but, contrary to changelog, it still has ui glitches such as the overly large adrressbar and dark background. There maybe some differences in how the moment treats this app, so I went and modified it to make it compatible with our spicas.
See link above for details of the N1 browser improvements.

[*]Replaced addressbar layout with corrected one.
[*]This is only a port, I can't develop or improve it more.

PREVIEW HERE
Note, in my brief testing, the browser seemed to stall on certain websites like yahoo.com. From a bit of tinkering I found that the libwecore.so included in Frozen Eclair 2 solved that issue so its is included in the update zip file. The whole FE2 is not required.
In case of problems, I also prepared a restore zip file, restoring the stock browser and libwebcore.so.
Installation:
This should work fine but still usual caveats apply: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
This is made for and tested only samdroidmod kitchen roms only, basically rooted and deodexed system only. Other systems beware.
Install like any other kitchen without base package from recovery.
Dalvik-cache wipe is included in the update, so initial booting will be longer.
BIG FAT WARNING IN USE WITH SAMDROID KITCHEN V2
With release of Samdroid Kitchen V2, be warned that the attached files include the old Superuser.apk from kitchen v1, and the update zip themselves are for ktichenv1 format. So don't flash directly to kitchen v2. Use them in the newer kitchenv2 format, and delete the older Superuse.apk.
WARNING ENDS

That's it, enjoy.

Optional update that include the newer libwebcore of frozen eclair 5. No changes to the browser itself.

[Boot Animations] More bootanimations (Updated 4/6/12)

This is a collection of boot animations that I have made. Lots of thanks to JaeKar99 for talking me through this.
Check back often as I will update this with more animations from time to time.
Note: Only custom kernels will run a custom boot image.
Directions for Install:
1) Download file to your SD Card.
2) Rename the file to bootanimation.zip or sanim.zip depending on your kernel.
3) Move the file to system/media or data/local (if there is already a file there by that name you can either rename it to if you want to keep your current boot, or delete it.
4) Reboot and Enjoy
5) PROFIT (Just thank me)

Download: Exploding Planet
Download: Tunnel
Download: Skull And Bones

Note: All images are publicly available on YouTube, I didn't create these, just packaged them for your phone.
Note #2: I'm not responsible if your phone blows up.
Reserved if needed.
Gingerbread men.... Heeh. Nice job on these!
any interest/potential to make this gif into a bootanimation? I am unsure how to, or I'd just do it. Perfect would be colors inverted IMO.
http://i.imgur.com/klbzt.gif
I could probably do it, but it is a long gif. I would have to either cut down the length or reduce the number of frames/sec. If I reduce the f/sec the images would go by too fast. If I cut it down, you would have to tell me where. 10 seconds is about the average boot time, so I try to keep them under that.
Good lord, all your base...you sir have won Android.
I'm glad you found the humor. I couldn't believe nobody had done it yet.
A new one based of the Lions Gate Intro:
Download:LionsGate
Heres one I put together based on some PCB Walpaper.
Download:PCB
If you have downloaded this prior to 8:00am 4/7 please download again as I upped the FPS to make the video smoother (however it shortens the sequence)
FYI- All boot images over 4megs will NOT loop in ICS. If they are under 4 megs they will.

Testers Needed!!!

Sorry guys. I was hoping there was a backdoor that I may have missed to get this to work. After working with a couple folks there is no way to make this a user friendly install even with the corrected partition map info. As soon as you guys get unlocked I will revisit this and I will be checking back on a regular basis.

I am looking at yet another Universal release. This time it's not a universal MotoBlur ROM but a possible Universal Ubuntop/Webtop+ release but I need testers. It is based on the latest Webtop release for the Photon (WT-1.2.0-180) and is successfully running on the Atrix, Electrify and Photon. We've been running Ubuntop/Webtop+ since September with minimal issues and I have received multiple requests to port. If successful, the advantage of this universal release is that any improvements and enhancements will carry over to all devices.
Prerequisites:
Unlocked
CWM Recovery (Bootstrap MAY work)
GB Blur based ROM with Webtop support (for now)
/osh be located at /dev/block/mmcblk0p13 (if osh is not located at mmcblk0p13 PM me with the correct partition location)
/osh be atleast 755.9MB
Not afraid of using terminal
Latest version of 7Zip
Ubuntop.7z - 264.3 MB (MD5- AA02B21D7A8D733621AD48B1425E95C8)
DO NOT POST RESULTS - PM ME YOUR RESULTS - IF THIS WORKS I WILL BE RELEASING TODAY
Installing:
Make a full backup including webtop (this is key so you can revert any changes)
Extract the UbunTop.7z file (this requires you have the latest version of 7zip installed)
Copy the Ubuntop folder to internal storage (again this is a must)
From CWM recovery, flash the Univ_Ubuntop_v1.0.0.zip
Reboot and launch webtop
Follow the instructions in the "READ ME!!!" file in the Ubuntop folder
(Right now I'm looking for install success and menupatch success. If you want to install applications and report on that as well that's great.)
Haven't slept in over 24hrs and just realized I need to use Aroma Installer. Gonna get some sleep, fix and reup Universal Ubuntop. For those that know what they are doing, edit the scripts to point ot the proper partition to play with it.

[Theme][P6810XXLPP/XXLPS] Less Touchwiz, More Holo

Why?
Because in my opinion Touchwiz is really ugly and outdated looking. Replaced many icons/colors with stock Holo ones, replaced all the cheesy rounded borders and gradients with hard edges and flat surfaces, made many things grayscale. Colors should be used for emphasis, not cluttering the whole interface for no good reason.
Why XXLPP/XXLPS/4.0.4?
Because for my needs Jellybean 4.1.x is a step back in functionality. They added lots of stuff that is useless for me (eg. multiuser), and made stuff I really need way more difficult (eg. mounting CIFS on /sdcard).
What is themed?
Settings.apk, SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk. Everything is treated with OptiPNG/DeflOpt/JPEGOptim and zipaligned.
How to install?
Do a Nandroid. Flash the .zip in TWRP or CWM. Wipe Cache/Dalvik. Reboot.
The XXLPP version was made for SkyHigh ROM P6810XXLPP ICS v4.2 - I don't know if it works on stock XXLPP. If it breaks something, just reinstall the backup you made earlier. Maybe it works on P6800 too, but then you have to remove the assert(getprop) line in the updater script.
The XXLPS version was made for the stock ROM.
Optional: The Dummy Files pack contains dud replacements for all the annoying audio and animation crap Samsung packed in their ROM. This is not a flashable ZIP (because I was too lazy to create the updater script ). Unpack the archive, mount /system in recovery, push the folders manually, and chmod the files to 644. Then you're rid of all the pings, clicks, wooshes, and plops that Samsung found cool to have in their interface, without any option to turn that junk off.

Nice work. Thanks for sharing
Think I'll give it a go, but real busy right now. Downloading for later
BTW, I see from your screenshot that you're using an older kernel. kernel is updated today to v2.8.0
Sent from my GT-P6810 using xda premium
Cheers, UpInTheAir - thanks for the heads up.
Sure is a nice kernel you built - upgrading to the newest as we speak. Too bad you discontinued your ROM, but it's nice as it is... (I, for one, don't care about synthetic benchmarks at all - I only care that games and movies aren't laggy and choppy. )
Oh, and v0.2 of my theme is up for grabs in the first post as well.
Added a theme version for XXLPS and audio/animation dummy files in the first post.
