Unthemeable notification bar? - Android Themes

For some reason, whenever I apply any theme, my notification bar is always white, not even the normal android silver bar, but just white, this happens in every theme I use,
I have Cyanogen Mod 6 RC2 if that helps

Just follow the instructions, and you can customize your colors. Enjoy the Cyanogen build, I just flashed RC2, and it's great. I just don't like vanilla themes. Cyanogen knows most people want black status bar, and notification pulldown.

You can change colors to what ever you like, just the status bar and pulldown are black, so you have to change the colors anyway because default text is black.

[REQ] MIUI status bar theme Request

Hi all.
I would have posted this in the MIUI forums but I'm having problems signing up.
Basically Iv been messing round with my themes in MIUI and was wondering if someone could help me out.
See i like the stock black and white bar with the percentage, but was wondering if someone could incorporate this with a black pull down with blue icons. Like the notification area in reDARKend 2.4 Special, but obviously with the stock black and white icons on the notification bar, and completely transparent on the home screen?
I have tried applying different status bars but all the ones with the stock like bar have a white pull down which conflicts with the white notifications text used by the current theme.
Oh, and also can anyone tell me how i can theme the keyboard? I want it blue and blck, like everything else i like my theme to match throughout

CM7 Changing Status Bar?

as default the status bar is black on cm7 but i want to mod it like miui
on miui its partly see thru black but when you pull it down it changes white
is this possible?
Flash a CM theme that has status bar you like....
Pipsqueak approved this message.
there isnt any
There's Zdune's miui theme for cm7, except the pull down is grey, I haven't played around with it, but I'm sure you can edit the status bar png to white on pulldown:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189723
The status bar is transparent by default on MIUI and I haven't found a way outside of running MIUI to have the status bar black normally (or transparent) and then have a different color pull down status bar.
MIUI does it very well and I can't seem to find a simple MIUI like CM7 theme either. I've tried the above link but I have issues with icons sticking and overlapping.
Right now I'm leaning toward "MinimalBread" in the Market, but it isn't the same.
Perhaps use just the "Black Version" of the MIUI Theme listed above. I had no luck trying the transparent statusbar patch.
Use the uot kitchen. It's extremely easy to use and will let you do what you are wanting to do.

Cm9 reloaded equivalent for stunner

Hi,
I've fallen in love with the light blue and white status bar and notification bar in Cm9 reloaded... Is there an equivalent for stunner?? I'd like to try the new release but don't want to give up the beautiful reloaded bar =)
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Are there options to change the status/notification bar colors in euphoria? I'd really like it to match the reloaded light blue =)
No there are no options to change th color of the statusbar in stunner. You can only change the icon and text color.
But if you upload a picture it would be more clearly what exactly you mean with "blue and white status bar".
If you also got a link to the mod where it's build in, I might be able to make you the notification / status bar look like the one you like in the latest version of stunner.
m3dd0g created several nice themes for stunner, check them out here:

Fixed status bar colour

With the new Lollipop update, the status bar colour should change to match the colour of the currently opened app. However, on my Z3 Compact it seems to be blue in every single app.
Does anyone know what to do about this?
Btw, I'm not rooted or anything, just received this phone today.
the blue bar is the default [fallback] colour of your theme, if you open YouTube [for instance] you'll see the bar is red rather than blue, so for the apps that have a blue bar it's either because the dev made it blue, or there's no bar colour definition and it falls back to default.
if you don't like the blue colour, try and changing your theme to something else [different themes, different bar settings]
