i have touch viva and i want to type in herew how do i go by doing it

writing hebrew
just read/write hebrew? not switch the whole U/I to hebrew?

well the RAM could be changed with flashing a ROM and it would be nice to get a nice stripped version of wm6.1 since its more stable and with a stripped version itll have more than 128mb free.
to upgrade ur OS to wm6.5 you have to HardSPL and then FLash wm6.5 thru the RUU go to the Opal ROM developement sub-forum to learn how to do all this.

To successfully flash a ROM in your Himalaya from SD card you HAVE TO have your own backup, as Hima's bootloader puts there his own signature - and this signature is unique for every device and even every SD card!

I'm not an expert, and i'm not sure, but it might be impossible.
I tried to do this i that way: i install the file SJ KeybSkin_Touch.zip and download the skin . But nothing happens ...
I had no problems with installing cab files but the keyboard didn't change.
Maybe there is another way to do this.
Or i made a mistake somewhere?
Can you help me? this rom is great, but i wanna a other keyboard.

a Gold Card may help you flash the CHT ROM
I got a CHT Pro2, but I wanna flash a WWE ROM.....

By the way, does the English Pro2 in Hong Kong have a Chinese/English switching key(with "中/英" printed on it)?

I thought that you are using the Hong Kong version of Pro2
the SN of your Pro2 can't be used to download the Hong Kong WWE ROM
but I found one available myself: HT965LL02***
those who interested in HK WWE Official ROM may use this SN to download it.

So what new in this new official ROM? what does it fixed or what new features it have?

I'm really glad that I can turn my Europe version to HK TCH. But when i'm installed some programs to the SD-card and try to open the program in the All programs. I will get a warning that he can't find the programma source. What is the problem.
If I try to open the installed programma in the SD card by file explorer, some of the programs will open, but some programs won't open. I will receive a message that short of memory, while my sd-card is 16GB
I hope you can solve this problem for me

You can check the properties of those shortcuts in explorer and correct the path there. The chinese words have most probably been replaced by "?". Hope this can help!

How could I reach the properties. at the manner as pc isn't a succes.

did anybody try this CHT ROM on US TP2 from T-Mobile?
if it won't affect 3G, I'll surely go for it

A couple of questions about an official upgrade from WinMo 6.1 to 6.5

I've got an unlocked HTC Touch Diamond 2, currently running an official WinMo 6.1 rom.
My main question is - is there any evidence that an upgrade to the official WinMo 6.5 rom will improve the phone signal?
My other question:
Will the rom for the Rhodium work on the Topaz? HTC tell me it's the same (verbally), hence the the support page showing the rom for Touch Pro 2.

No! For this to happen you'll need to find a suitable radio.nbh for Topaz.
Our WinMo phones can flash the splash screen, OS and radio only.

Can we put Android ROM in HTC Touch Diamond?

HI,
I have a HTC Touch Diamond from August-2008. Planning to retire it in another 6 months time. However, I don't want to throw it away. So, planning to see if I can upload an Android OR Windows Mobile - 7 / 7.5 / 8 kind of OS on the same phone for experimentation. Anyone can help me with some ideas and resources for this?

For daily use, is only possible upgrade to wm 6.5.X.
There are versions of Android to instal on the external memory, but there are not stable.
WindowsPhone 7.X or 8 is not possible.

Dear AF_624, my Diamond does not have external memory card option. My phone specs are:
4GB built-in memory card
192MB RAM
256MB ROM
Qualcomm Processor
Can I upgrade to WM 6.5? If so, can you please suggest some resources for the same?
