Notification Bar Replacement - HTC Aria Themes and Apps

Hey guys, new to the rooted Android scene and I'm in love with things already. I've tried looking for my own, both with searches and manually, but I can't find where or how I'd go about replacing the notification bar on my Aria. If it's a simple image file I can replace, then the location of that would be great, otherwise any help I can get would be appreciated.

If you're rooted with attn1's Cyanogenmod's ROM or Eclair 2.1 Beta I believe it is possible by simply going to the market and downloading themes, but if you're on Sense still, I don't believe it's possible.

Port a lock screen and notification bar

Can anyone help me with this?
I want to see if there is anyway that someone can port the transparent lockscreen and notification bar from evils hero roms and put it in an update.zip. I tried to flash evils roms and although they look great I cannot seem to get them to run right on my mytouch. I have gone back to qtek 1.8 which has always run smooth for me but want the transparent lockscreen and the notification bar from evils rom. I would greatly appreciate it if someone who was knowledgeable with porting and signing updates would be able to help not only me but a few members that I see have made the request with no response.
Just for the record I did search and found instructions but it did not seem to work for me.

[MORPH] REQUEST - Black status bar for stock roms

like the subject says....
i have a rooted telus milestone..so i can't install roms...
i can however have fun with metamorph...
i've been dying for a black status bar with white font/time...
but all the ones i've found are for roms (dwang or whatever, cy, etc)
i was wondering if one exists for stock roms so we can just use it with metamorph...
thanks!
Creating a MetaMorph file is pretty easy and all you would need to do is dig through the ROM an figure out where those files are and what they are called.
definitely...i took a semi proactive approach and did edit a bunch of things just to test them out...
i was just working a huge week this week and didn't have time to sit aorund and mess with my phone, hehe
i still haven't found a metamorph that changes the font colour of the clock/notifications/etc in the notification bar...
also, i'm trying to figure out how to change the icons of an installed (non-stock) app...there are few mickey mouse ways to do, but not guide per se...if i have time, on wednesday, i'll write one up if i figure it out...

Desire Notification Bar on Froyo Stock?

Hi guys, has anyone of you new froyo users been able to upload the desire notification bar on their stock 2.2 roms? If so, can you help me with the steps.
I tried it and it crashed my phone at boot-up. The Desire LWP also doesn't work - it installs fine but fc's when you try set it.
Haven't bothered with the desire camera though, the new one is much improved.
please someone figure this out!

most people are just waiting for the deodex'd files... required to change the font color

Notification bar wanted for Aria

I've tried the roadsms app on my Aria. It works but due to the size of the screen I'm missing 1/4 of the keyboard. So I know these apk's can cross builds. Could some kind member post the apk to the Captivate's notification bar? I don't know if it would work on Sense UI, but its worth a try! The Galaxy notification is sooooo much better than any other build. I mean, come on this is how it should be. Wifi, bluetooth and gps control is right there!!!
Anyways, someone whos rooted can you rip the xda-community your apk?

Here's the framework-res.apk file from my Captivate, which contains the notification bar AFAIK. FYI our doesn't have a GPS toggle though, just wifi/bluetooth/silent/vibrate.
I'm still somewhat new to android so I'm unsure of how you'd get this working on your Aria though. Good luck

Edit:Or maybe you'd need twframework-res.apk? http://www.mediafire.com/?4yter4knnfl1s28
Installing a different notification bar is not an easy process.
There's a whole lot of system-specific things going on with it, so moving the TouchWiz bar to a Sense phone will fail, and hard, perhaps to the point of preventing you from even booting, without some serious modifications to the framework-res.

Removing Clock

Hi all. I'm looking for someone that might have found a way to remove the clock from the status bar. I've found different ROMs and update packages meant for other phones that are supposed to remove it, but I would rather try to find a tried and true method for the captivate. If one exists anyway, the last time I searched for this I read it wasn't possible with our phones.
So has anyone been able to accomplish this on their captivate?
Oh, I'm also running perception build 7.
Just gonna bump once
I tried to replace the services.jar file with one that was meant to remove the clock, but that rendered the phone unbootable :/ Which is what I assumed would happen.
Any ideas?
Looking for the same thing. I run beautiful widgets and have no need for clock in the notification bar.
Running Assonance 3.1
Likewise! I also run Beautiful Widgets and don't really see the need for this clock ....
I use zeam as my launcher and hide the status bar in prefs. To make notifications easily accessible, I set then to swipe down gesture.
