[ROM] Kspec Kustom Dwang 1.13 modded and themed [12/04]

Requirements:
Code:
- Rooted phone
- Custom Recovery like Amon_RA 1.4.0
- Custom ROM like Dwang or CyanogenMod
Installation Instructions:
Code:
- Download the theme or ROM file from the original post (OP).
- Plug your phone into the computer and connect via USB to the SD card.
- Copy the downloaded file onto the root of your SD card.
- Reboot your phone into Recovery mode by holding the Home button.
- [b]DO A BACKUP AND KNOW HOW TO RESTORE IT[/b]
- Flash the file of your choice and then reboot.
- A wipe is optional but can fix any issues that may occur
Uninstallation Instructions:

- Restore from your backup OR
- Download the original ROM you had before flashing my file.
- Place the downloaded file on the SD card of your phone.
- Reboot your phone into Recovery by holding the Home button.
- Flash the original ROM file over my work replacing everything back to default and then reboot.

I just added the black and pink version and there are reports that USB tethering isnt working but I am looking into a fix for it. Everything is golden and this ROM is very fast!

Hmmm.... got a Market issue. android.vending FC. Had it with browser, but cleared it up and it works, but not Market. Anybody else having an issue with Maркет? I only got this FC with this as a ROM. Dwang's Rom installs without issues. Will try this as a theme.
BTW, love the grey notification bar with colored icons. Absolutely beautiful. Possibility of it being Morphed?
Application highlight in drawer darkens the name in glossy square, was it intentional?
Dialer highlights orange not red.
Overall great Grey concept menu and bar. Very clean and easy on the eye.
Any chance of Advanced Launcher?

I'm just saying that in the screenshots, you can't see a browser icon, in the drawer.

I keep getting a blackscreen with the new theme. I have reinstalled the rom and theme multipal times.

That's because the screenshot stops at Bluex. Know your alphabetization? "Bl" comes before "Br"...

I just flashed an I didn't get passed the android screen

Same with me, when I flash this onto my G1 it goes to a black screen after android screen. what do I have to do special.

Dwang rom without theme work correctly you?

I dont know bout G1 but i have a mytouch 3g and i did a wipe and a fresh install with dwang's 1.17.1 which is really fast then i rebooted the rom did everything i had to do log on my google account then used recovery and loaded the theme on top of the rom no wipe this time and everything went through smoothly i got aman ra 1.5.2 recovery but i didnt do much to it though just basic

Just to confirm before I go fiddling... this will replace the T-Mobile splash on my UK G2 right? I do like the HTC and Hero screens so want to keep those. I just can't stand the T-Mob G2 screen.
Also, any chance of getting this in update.zip format? Sorry if that's asking too much!

this does replace the very first image shown when booting your device. the animations of the htc and hero logo are called bootscreen and are part of the rom, while the splash screen is stored in a kind of a lower level storage.
afaik this can not be done via recovery image, so no update.zip ever.

I vote on this too....a green one would be extra nice! I'd definitely put that one on.
Maybe you could make the boot sound optional? That's just a suggestion tho.....

i think you didn't install the SPL required. The stock spl is checking for signed ..

How to install
1. Put the downloaded Ultimate_Black_V1_ROM.zip, gapps.zip and DXLK1KernelStock.zip into root of sdcard, then go to vM00CWMv3f recovery
2. Wipe cache,data, and dalvik cache
3. Install DXLK1KernelStock.zip then reboot your recovery
4. Agian, wipe data, cache and dalvik
5. Install Ultimate_Black_V1_ROM.zip that earlier you've downloaded
6. Wait the installation process until done
7. Reboot your phone
8. Go to CWM again, wipe data, cache and dalvik cache
9. install gapps and after finish, reboot your phone
10. Enjoy it!
I recomended to flash stock kernel if you want to install Ultimate Black V1 ROM. You can get stock kernel link in below section.

My images are themed latest stock twrp. Only ts kernel wont flash on stock as far as I know and you need to use tkkg modded twrp the older version 3.2.3. But that's for tskernel dev to fix, everything else should work, considering it is just stock twrp. I've flashed moro kernel, magisk, roms etc on this. All working fine ??

New OneUi style twrp released, has Samsung style keyboard for terminal etc enjoy

Updated OneUI theme, repositioned the buttons on keyboard, added black background to terminal ctrl bar, added new lock screen, it's transparent so you can check your flash progress, you can also now take screenshots of the lock screen ? and the progress bar and slider bar that were blue before are now light grey. Enjoy ?

How do I install this?? I'm kinda confused. I'm still a noob. (Nevermind!! I installed already) ?

Just finished my first port, standard NFE, no aroma stock kernel based on helios. Just flash and it auto detects model and puts correct battery text and kernel, secure folder working. For s7/s7E.
