Hi all, samsung galaxy s is my first android phone.
i have rooted it and installed HACKECLAIR V1.0.4.
Now i have seen a lot of metamorph themes and most of them require cyanogenmod. I Searched a bit and couldnt find a cyanogenmod for galaxy s. is there any themes that are fully compatable with galaxy s .
im looking to theme launcher pro and the framework

try samset roms, already themed, with additonal battery & font mods
The morphs for the vibrant also work on the galaxy s

hey i tried those morphs but wenever it goes to framework.apk.....it hangs out and keeps on applying for hours....m not able to use them on my phone ...m on stock firmware in india..pls help...thanx

Happened to me but then figured it out
First of all make sure your rooted,
Then make sure you have USB Debugging on in :
Settings-apllications-development-USB debugging.
After that restart metamorph and reaply the framework, ittl.take about 5 min. Then it will work
Where do you finf themes for Galaxy S?
I foud this post by "googling" metamorph themes for galaxy S and connot find a lot...

Can't find anything either..
tried a Samsung Vibrant theme file but it messed up my phone.
Wouldn't boot any more so I restored backup.
Would be nice if somebody could show me some metamorph themes for my i9000.

I am not able to enter into recovery mode. I tried Rom manager and clock work mod
but it does not not list the galaxy 5 in the options.

i tried to get adw launcher with gingrbread theme, when i get it it dies :I
tried morph neither i didnt get all, and so on,
ya both do not work. May have to install custom roms

I am on mdy's cyanogen mod7 v2.6 now. I can't theme it. And I believe I've not correctly done it and so i was experiencing a bootloop. I hope to find a guide to this. Or is it impossible at all for Htc leo to theme at all? Btw, I used metamorph to do it. Any form of help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The THEME I tried: [THEME][1/25/11][METAMORPH] Lucid-Froyo CM6 Based [UPDATE]
... You do realize that you can't install a cm6 theme on a cm7 system right? Or even more basic than that, you can't install a froyo (2.2) theme on gingerbread (2.3), the framework is different.
As for repairing, I'd say (unless you did a backup before you modified things) a re-install of the rom in probably needed. (Or, if you did a backup, restore the framework-res.apk and/or whatever else you replaced.)
Got the same problem here, just installed [23 FEB] [ZIP] HD2 CoreDroid DHD V1.4 [SKINNED&TWEAKED] then downloaded the themes which were included there and installed 5 at once, then after the restart the phone was stuck on the boot (looped) maybe i have to intall it one at a time or install a special program first?

Well, I am gonna try that tonight. HD2 CoreDroid DHD V1.4 [SKINNED&TWEAKED]
How's it doing? Anymore bootloop?
i flashed the phone again, didn't bother installing the themes so no more bootloops
Boot it. Well, I have not tried those themes yet.
Try the honeycomb theme that you apply with theme Chooser app. Works great on mdj cm7.

Just a heads up:
If you install any theme for 2.2 that involves any changes to the framework, settings, systemUI, or launcher, you are erasing the changes made in 2.2.1 and basically going back to 2.2. If there is an original theme, I am willing to make a 2.2.1 port, if I get the permission to do so.
Just link me to the original theme and I will see what I can do.

i want to change my theme not my launcher but the phone theme
i had sensation and it had app that call themes and i could change them with themes that come with the rom or phone the note dont have theme changer?
it got only one theme that come with the rom?
??? anybody can help plz
thats because it doesnt use themes like htc sense, you might want to use google to see if there are themese available or not

from what i read here on xda, the SGN needs to be rooted first before custom themes can be applied...

If your phone is rooted and you have CWM recovery, you will probably find a flashable ZIP file in the themes section here:

I am not entirely sure if themes can be put on Stock ROMs though. Most of them are made for specific and popular custom ROMs. Good luck finding one.
If not, you are gonna have to use a different launcher to tend to your needs.
