[Q] How to flash Galaxy S M110S (Korean version) with Odin? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all, I have a Galaxy S M110S (Korean version) from Anycall
Few days ago, I flashed it with i9000 firmware (XXJP3). It passed but it didn't recognize my Sim card so I can't make any phone call or SMS.
How can I recovery M110S firmware.
I have some firmware for this (DH07, DH09, DH19)... but when I flash it with Odin, it always fail. I tried with the pit file 512 or 513, tick & untick at re-partion but the same error appear.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot!

No need to use PIT file - put firmware file (DH19 etc) into PDA field
Dont change any options
If your Korean i suggest to check out - matpclub.com - korean smartphone community

I fixed my bricked phone using JP3 firmware from samfirmwares.com and the Korean Froyo 2.2 update (which I found in Google)and used Odin. Hi mate link is not working please can u give me working link?
THANKS

Hello Guys
Well i have m110s 16 gig and it has ginberbread installed couple of weeks back i was copying files and it screwd my phone and since then it gives me an error that damage internal sd card. Guys ofcourse it's not hardware issue because i have seen the motherboard of m110s and thre is CHIP(rom) in there for storage and if i can flash my phone with different vertion of rom back and forth then it means the memory works just fine. I belive it could be problem with partion. because i can see only 98 mb of space which it allocates for cahe. I think possible solution could be stock Pit file or Bootloader or both of them. if i flash it with stock files i guess things would get ok.
But seriously guys it's annoying me now as i can just use it as phone and not smartphone. Can you guys help me out in this.
Thanks

jpjpm did not installed on jpjpg

Hi GUYES , I AM RAMIN ,from IRAN
I had a froyo , JPJPG on my samsung galaxy s. I just now downloaded 2.2.1 JPJPM (single exe file) and flashed using , pit512, and, odin 1.7, that automatically selected repartition mark. then using download mode( volume down+home+power), connected to pc,( while SIM card and memory card removed and pc antivirus was turned off,). should be possible, you need to find the oldest possible stock rom and try flashing it with AiresVE.ops , MultiLoader Odin v.4.43
This happened to me, someone flashed cm for i9000 on i9001 and it worked for a while but it progressively started crashing, i took that phone and tried flashing stock but never could get pass setup connection in odin 4.43, tried all the variations (driver reinstall, new cable, remove battery, other PC etc) and in a hail marry attempt i managed to flash i9000 stock witch odin 1.83. Phone now works, enters download and recovery mode, but i still cant get past same error in odin 4.43 or flash custom recovery i any way (verification error from update method, adb flash just doesnt stick). ROM manager sees some custom recoveries but i cant enter them, my guess is because of different pit file from i9000.
Havent tried flashing i9001 rom with odin 1.83 because i cant use ariesve.obs from 4.43, i managed to connect to phone with heimdall and download pit, so that kind of connection works. My guess is that if i could somehow create pit file for this phone that works with heimdal i could flash proper stock rom, so im here to ask is it possible and how would i do it ?

[Q] i need help for my friend's sgs 1

hi frnd i own a Xperia Neo V but here i am for my frnd he has did something wrong with his phone and its not booting up i can enter recovery/download mode i just want to knwo how to flash i9000
i have downloaded
Flashprogram Samsung I9000 + Pits
firmware version XAJW5_XEU from samfirmware
i have flashed 5830 and 5801 but i dont find odin to be similar as them
can any1 tell me how to flash i9000 and what pit to use cause i can see 3 pits in it
803
513
512
or a full procedure will be helpful
am just trying to help my frnd to fix his S1
you will need to have the galaxy S drivers installed on the computer they can be downloaded and installed as part of Kies or seperatly from a thread in the I9000 (SGS) section of XDA just search for "Samsung Drivers.exe"
As for flashing Phone put it into download mode and connect USB cable
If the file downloaded is a single file .TAR place into PDA of odin
if 3 file place PDA into PDA, CSC into CSC and PHONE into PHONE and flash.
Most GingerBread ROMs use 512 PIT check on samfirmware as to the suggested PIT file.
NOTE a pit file is not always required but cannot hurt. just ensure that repartition is not checked
what will happen if i re partition it.. will it format everything

re partition will fully wipe the OS partitions, not the SDcard partition but sometimes errors do occur with the SDcard.
The ROM on the phone does retain a copy of the PIT file and can access it during a odin flash.
it is very important to use the correct pit file for the rom or it will not boot

Freeze on SGS3 logo

Hi
A friend has flashed the following CF-Root "CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar" by mistake.
Then... stuck on Samsung's logo and "Galaxy SII" appears. He tried to flash via Odin the firmware I8190XXALK6 - Novembrer, 2012 but the problem still remains.
The Download mode is available but not the Recovery mode.
What can he do to solve this issue?
Thanks for your precious help! Don't hesitate to ask me for further information.
Galaxy SIII Mini
Android 4.1.1
GT-I8190
Flash the attached file in pda.
Thanks for your help.
I'm goign to transfer that file to my friend.
I'll keep u informed.
The phone boots without any issues except that the SGS II logo is still here.
A new flash through Odin could solve it?
Thanks again.
try to flash full firmware.
Have you Full Firmware (pda, csc, modem)?
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/181522827/74b9c77/I8190XXALK6_I8190XEFALK1_XEF.zip.html
are the 3 Files?
one file include all.
where add this file?
I have a bad flash and i now it is my internal sd not as should be.
I wanted all files for my phone for Odin (Pit file, Modem, CSC)
.
there is not pit file.
just put the tar file inside zip in pda and flash.
My mistake.
the boot logo not include in firmwares, i made one for u.
it shold work.

If you stuck at factoryfs.img then you device is bricked.
Replace the motherboard
or
try the workaround (and it is only that) with the repartition method described in hg42's thread.

still same.. i flash pit file from hg42 thread stuck on set partition..
here i attaches the image
How will it move ahead? You have not selected any PDA files to flash.
And why did you flash that PIT file? Have you done any scans using the scanners found in that thread to determine the bad blocks?
ENter all the 3 files without PIT! and tell again!
