Headset Creative - HD2 Accessories

Hello, I'd like to ask you what do you think about using Creative HS-930i with HTC HD2. This headset is for iPhone but it has 3,5 jack so I think it could be able to work with HTC HD2.
Would you recommend me another headset?
I need a headset with microphone and some buttons (play music, pause).
Thanks.

i think it won't work
i once tried the original apple headset with controls, but they remote didnt work.
so i guess this is the same here.

Best earphones for TyTN II - MP3 Playback

Hi All,
I bought HTC Tytn II recently... It's rock.....
But i am very disappointed with the earphone quality of HTC... No Bass at all.... I am not saying mp3 playing quality is bad... I tried my motorola BT stereo headset and it gave me fantastic output with heavy bass..... So the quality of my HTC earphone is bad...
I found several earphones on HTC website.... can you please help me to find out an excellent HTC earphone which can give full Bassy effects.... or any other brand which haves mini usb port...... Dont want converters please.......
Thanks.

Why not? You are unlikely to find a decent pair of USB earphones IMHO.
I'd get a small adapter and buy some sure earphones for the best possible sound.
don't mean to hijack the thread but can anybody recommend a good bluetooth stereo headset? i want one that will be good with music and also allow me to make calls.
I am particularly looking for an in ear type earphone or a unit that allows me to use my own ear buds.
I've got the i-Tech Clip Radio (http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=145553). Works well with the kaiser, got play/pause, next/prev, volume, and call buttons, bulit in FM radio, and allows you to plug your own earphones in as it has a 3.5 jack.
How is this unit for bass?
Also it looks just like the htc S100, did HTC rebrand it?
I listen to alot of dance music, and with Sony's EX-71s it does me fine!
Yeh, the S100 is HTC's rebranded version of the non FM radio version!
I also have the iTech clip (excellent unit with medium audio quality) as it can handle calls and lets you use any 3.5mm jack units you have but you have loads of cables about (use my B&O earbuds on that).
For genaral use and if I want to anser a call I use the Promate PM-2006 BT stereo headset as it is a halfway sized headphone with good audio quality and in call holding.
But for sheer audio enjoyment, I use my Creative CB2530, absolute bliss and can put most Hi-Fi's to shame.
SOZ, probably not what the thread starter asked for but WHO is gonna produce a GOOD set of headphones terminated in a mini usb? You will need the converter or BT (no converter at all!)
Every BT unit I have works seamlessly, no clicks, no splutters, no bad audio with my 'out of the box' non-carrier HTC TyTnII.
Damn, its either the beer or I should have been a salesman! Smiles.
There aren't any "best" headphones without using an adapter. If you want the best you'll need to spend you're looking at the Shure SE530 or go custom which is around $1000. It all depends on your budget.
ive got the Shure e4c's connected through an adapter and i can say you can't get better sound.. its so crystal clear, it sounds better than live people in front of you talking
ok, I've something else to add.....well asK
Is there any bluetooth stereo heaphones (with very good sound quality but aren't humongous so as to make me look like a Martian ) that can pair with two devices at once?
For example, I have two phones which support A2DP and I use one as my music phone (Nokia N93i) but also use the TYTN 2 as my business phone. What I want is to be listening to my Nokia N93i through the earphones, and If my TYTN 2 rings, the music pauses so I can speak to the caller on the TYTN 2 then revert back to listening to music back on the N93i.....
.....is this even possible?

Well yes to the pairing to two sperate devices, and no to the 'very good sound quality but aren't humongous'. The Promate PM-2006 headset is a 'medium' sized' 'medium to good quality' folding headset with mike. Pair it to both units then disable the function you don't want it to do on whichever phone (under BT settings). It will halt audio and answer the call from the other unit. These headphones were primarily developed to use with a BT mp3 players with capability to connect to your mobile phone but WM phones do both!

Look at the Jabra BT8010. They're a little large, but have the advantage of using it in mono or stereo mode, as well as connecting to 2 devices simultaneously.
Incidentally, Seidio makes earphones that end in the proprietary htc mini-usb format. Haven't tested them out, but they're the only other ones i know of that don't need a converter.
Another vote for iTech Clip Radio. Works awesome with my Ultimate Ears Super fi 5 Extended Bass buds.
I bought Kyocera from here: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=204239053&loc=111&pageFormat=20&rs=1&#cReviews
The best headphones I ever bought and have the most functionality. The only problem that some people might have is the look and size of the headphones. I have not charged the headphones for a month now and still running on standby.

has anyone tried any Sony bluetooth stereo headset?

I think it might be possible using the Sony Erickson BT Earphone Stereo set. Check FleaBay... They got them cheaper than anywhere else. ( BT phone would have to be close to you, just disable the bluetooth on N93i, however The Sony Er unit has a 3.5 jack that can be plugged into the N93i, just marry the TytnII to the bluetooth)
If you marry to phones BT to the headset, and if you get a call from one while listening to music from the other, you will hear both the caller voice and the music at the same time. Jabra is one headset that I know of that can accept two devices, however when tried, I heard the device playing music however the music volume was very low while I talked on the phone. Not a great setup but might do the trick.

transmit to two a2dp headsets

hi, I have been searching for ages on google and xda-developers and found no solution so any help would be much appreciated, also apologies if i have missed a solution.
i have a touch diamond and two a2dp headsets that have a 3.5mm output. i want to connect both headsets to my touch diamond so that music plays on both, is there any way to achieve this? i dont mind if one just becomes a slave device and is "stupid" as it were, merely recieves sound. i am not interested in the microphone function of the heatsets either, purely to listen to sound through both.
the reason for this is i have both headsets inside ear defenders which my pillion and i wear on my hovercraft. each headset works fine when connected individually.
many thanks
Ed

Can I answer calls from the 3.5mm jack??

Sorry if this has been asked before - I searched and could not find an answer.
I am thinking of buying the ZaggBuds which plug into the 3.5mm jack and have an integrated microphone to make and answer calls.
I am hoping that the Sprint Hero allows me to answer calls using the 3.5mm jack?
Thanks!
yes. In fact it even works for just speakers plugged into the jack. Just have to use the phones microphone in that case.

If I recall correctly, and IPhones headset lets us control volume and music threw it - I assume calls would be answered in the same manner.
I have a pair of $50 Scosche Headphones that have a built in mic and volume control but i can't get them to work properly with my phone. When i plug them in, its shows the headset with the mic, but when i use them within a call no one can hear me. I can hear them but thats it.
There isn't a setting within the phone is there? is it just that my heaphones aren't compatible?
I plug the 3.5mm into my car speakers and phone calls play over the system...just have to speak into the phone microphone. I would assume it would work the same with headphones.
It has to be a regular headset with a single plug for it to work. The iPhone earbuds work great for example, the mic on those is way better than the internal mic on the Hero.
As far as using a button on the headset to answer calls, I'd also like to know how to program that button. I'd like to be able to press it and have it pull up voice search.

The way it's programmed on the iPod Shuffle is to pause (in our case, also answer calls) and long-press for voice options. The middle button of course. I don't think the volume buttons on the iPhone headset work on the Hero.
To be honest it all depends on the headphones like I have the Epic 4g headphones and it doesnt work well. You might have to buy HTC headphones for compatibility.

I have the Epic 4g head phones and they work perfectly for me. I am able to answer calls as well as navigate my music with them. <3 those headphones.
If your headphones arent working Google this:
//code.google.com/p/toggleheadset/ download the widget and install
I got a noisehush headset and works great for voice and stereo. My old HTC headset I got with the tmo wing is on its dying day.

I have a pair of headphones with a button and mic in the head set. I press the button to start/stop music as well as answer/hangup calls
I have the Zagg buds and they work great with the hero. I can press the answer button the button on the volume adjuster that are on the buds and it works like a champ.
Great headphones!

I bought a pair of Sony head phones for the Iphone to use on my HTC Hero thinking that they would work because it had volume control and built in microphone but all their good for is listening to music...
I use Thermaltake eSports Isurus headphones. They're in-ear buds with a mic on the line. The use a single 3.5mm TRRS plug to connect to phones, and have a TRRS to TRS headphones + microphone splitter for plugging into a computer. They work great with my HTC Hero.
They have an on-mic button, but I haven't played with that to see if it'll auto-answer if I push it. I'm more the 'plug the headset in after i get a call' kinda guy.

Headphones with remote control

Hello, I would like to have better headphones for my htc hd2 and would like the headphones to have the volume and music controls. So far, I haven't found such headphones yet, and also, will the remote control be functional on the hd2?
Which models would you suggest? I was also thinking of buying the nokia remote control for headphones and to attach whatever headphones you want, but still, will the remote be usable on hd2?
Any suggestion is appreciated.

May be you can customize & combine the idea (volume & remote control).
I've made a thread about fixing a headset that you can use to customize the headset
[GUIDE] Fixing Audio Jack + Wiring Info
Oh, nice idea, but I would prefer something to buy and to be ready to listen

So far,I've searched & I can't find similar product
So,my suggestion is the closest option
Hi, I'm using bluetooth headphones BACKBEAT-903 and work perfect, you have music, volume and call control. For a wired option I have the ZAGGsmartbuds allow play/pause music, call last number and have volume control, the price isn't cheap but if you get a 50% off code is more reachable.
sorry, I cannot put the links because I'm newbie. For Backbeat check in ebay and for smartbuds in zagg.com.

HTC IS Compatible Headsets

Hey guys,
We all know that our IS's came with an pretty decent wired headset with music control buttons. Now, I was wondering; who knows any other wired headset, with music control buttons, that are compatible with the IS?!
I had a go with a friends iPhone4 headset but only the mic. and play/pause worked.
I have only mike and play/pause too ... BOSE MIE2 ...
No next and previous ... But the earphones themselves are INSANE ...
