[q] List of free fonts? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know of a "Font Flasher" app that was shown on the frontpage, but it looks quite complicated for a novice Android user.
I'm looking for a list of fonts to be easily installed (either one by one or in bulk) or a way to put my own fonts on to my galaxy s. Sorry if this has already been answerd elsewhere.
Thanks,
Luke.

Does it accept handscents free front?

there are tons of free fonts on the internet, google them
there is an article in the forum that teach you how to use the free fonts to mod your device
link is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=765081

I've not tried handcents fonts, but I'll look into it.
Thanks for the link, I'll take a look once I'm home. :-D

Why wouod i ask about the theme on a rom dev forum when im asking about a theme associated with a specific launcher... maybe if I was looking for denatheme then yes but I'm not I'm looking for Android Windows7.

Why would you go to the thread of the Rom in the video that just so happens to be running the theme you want...
But in all seriousness, did you read the description under the video you watched? Go to that link an ask about it, which is where avgjoegeek was trying to lead you. It's the best place to start.
Alrighty...ty

It's just a brilliant use of the app Desktop Visualizer.
Oh so that can be done just by installing an app from the market???

If somebody else doesn't come along with a link you can try google searching for flip fonts or a .ttf for it. Typefresh is an app with an easy method for swapping true type fonts.

I know there is a thread somewhere on XDA about swapping fonts in the android operating system. I do it all the time. Currently running the UseNet font on my fassy.

Ya this keyboard is amazing.
Sent over Al Gore's internet via a rooted Thunderbolt.
Am I missing something?
This lagged like hell on my TB and has no editing KB or one with convenient numbers.
Is there a swipe gesture to bring up other stuff or something like in swype?

Not sure what your referring to but i know with the tb when you double tap on a word to get the other words to pop up, the copy paste and input pop up opens also..
Blocking the words Swype is suggesting..
when you Swype with this keyboard it leaves a list of words to choose from.. no double tapping needed.

Edit: pros survives reboot, you can use the stock messaging app ( spacing and auto caps work)
Cons: no editing keyboard, you'll need to use the stock editing. (Long press on a word and use the window to get to the letter you want or use the pointer and drag to the spot you need to edit)
With the day of use I have in I'm pretty impressed there aren't any bugs. and it seems to have learned my words already. And if it doesn't the list above that it builds scrolls and has had the correct word in it.
I'm now used to the stock editing, where before I would ignore it and thought it was redundant. It is easy to use and I don't see this as a fault

where can i find this keyboard?
In the market.. flex t9
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
Not to sound cheap or anything but 5 dollars is a little much for a keyboard.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
I've been using flex T9 for nearly a month. Push the flame icon for text to speech. I love it!

I can't see how you could call it warez if you can pull the apk from a dump. Sure, it's in the market but why spend 5 damn dollars on it if you can get it from the double shot rom. Makes no sense to me. Glad I found this thread before the apk got pulled.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Just downloaded the apk will post it when my computer boots up since it is readily available for free.
Edit: Just attached the file. Obviously if any mods believe this to be against some sort of license feel free to take it down just believe since: Rom = Free, File is inside Rom, File (Should) = Free.

Speech to text don't work and free keyboard a little buggy. Better than swype. Buying app to support developer. Need someone to start theming!

[REQ] Original People app (Habillage)

I hate the look of the Samsung contact list... all these flashy colors look so cheap.
Is there a way to replace it with Vanilla People app as seen on the Nexus ? I also have an Iconia a500 which kept it Vanilla and it looks so sweet !
I tried downloading an existing apk and push it in system/app but did'nt work at all.
