[Q] LED Flashlight App - Fascinate Themes and Apps

Does anyone know of a flashlight app that uses the LED camera light? Most of the ones I found in the market use the screen.

Tiny Flashlight + LED works for me.
http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.devuni.flashlight

Only problem with that app is the fact that the app is not very tiny...

I've just released Tiny Flashlight 3.0. Check out the new widgets!

The problem with the tesla and tiny is it shuts off as soon as you put the display in sleep. Its a pain trying to focus on something in the dark when you have light pointing at you

I agree that it should stay on like droid light when you lock the phone. Its annoying cause I need a light that does not turn off when Im working on cars at night.

i just download Tesla Flashlight and it has an option to stay on when the screen is off and it works fine

telsa is the very best man, youll love it!

Xperia Flashlight

Hi guys I've got a quick question,
You know that the camera has this flashlight function with this really bright light which is pretty handy when you're in a dark room or something
Well, it's pretty a pain in the ass to press the camera button (which is annoying to press on it self) go to the options and turn on the light
Sooo I was thinking, could you like make a shortcut of just the flashlight so you just had to press an icon in the programs folder which would turn on just the flashlight?
Nobody ever thanks me
TorchButton is the one's with the shortcuts; TorchButton supports very bright, medium brightness, blinking light, and SOS pattern light modes; TorchButton is ugly as **** but you could map the button with the camera button so that it launches light instead of camera; however you need a 3rd party application to modify the camera button.
hTorch is the one with application launcher; hTorch only supports very bright and medium brightness modes; hTorch is more elegant
well here is your thanks poetryrocksalot!

Haha, for a person who is a 5 year member but never ever posts, you are pretty nice. But I was just joking haha.
Don't forget though. It has been mentioned that using the applications could spoil your LED.

Yup, for some reason my bright mode doesn't work anymore. I can only use normal mode.

Same here. I think the reason is in the new R3A ROM I installed.

Yep, I posted something about brightness and R3 a while ago on the htorch thread, but nobody replied.

I've read on numerous posts in many places, that You may also damage Your vibra using led light for too long.
I have chosen to use this little app instead, as my screen light is more than enough to roam in the dark room.
have fun
Thank you, it works good. I mean... My LED flash is lighting now on my Xperia, but I am not able to switch it off. Is there any bug? Thx

Camera app in Serendipity 5.7

Everything seems to work except the exposure settings. It is only enabled in video camera mode. Anyone have this?
Get 3 more posts here and say this in the serendipity thread in the Development forum. Or maybe youll get lucky and have mikey see this, he reads here sometimes.
yup just the more posts haha

I just tested mine in a dark room with the computer screen, and it lightens to pick up the room light and darkens to capture the computer screen - all this with serendipity 5.7 (or else I wouldn't be posting).
So it isn't the ROM, for me. I haven't done anything with the camera except flash the video camera fix app - that was just supposed to fix the auto focus on video. It works now. Maybe it worked before too.

Tell me if you can select the exposure icon (+/-) below the timer on the left in camera mode because I can't select it.

I'm having the same thing hadn't noticed though... i think it's a wonky setting somewhere.
See if you have anti shake on... if it is it removes the exposure settings.

Problem is after you uncheck the option that disabled the feature that the -/+ does not come back as it stays greyed out.

Not true.
FYI, auto contrast also kills it.

I see it is now fixed in the new version. Nice work!

This app makes it just a bright as stock flashlight...
I want to overclock the LED!! just like Torch app
He is talking about torch from Cyanogenmod that has an "superbright" option.
-----------------------------
Theres an app called Nexus Torch that allows you to do that bright option.

My phone dies when I start this app in High Brightness
No the screen goes off, you have to press in the same place to get it back.
Because I think it takes the voltage from the LCD and gives it to the LED to make it brighter.
Nexus torch doesn't work proper too :'( doesn't anyone knows a good alternative i'm not only one using it am i!?!
disco light app, free in the market
Bump cause I want to know this The Nexus One torch makes my LED blink every couple of seconds (no, strobe is not on) but it doesn't do this in cyanogen. Running ARHD and would love an overclocked LED
Doesnt work for me on LeeDroid but here is the apk of the Cyanogen Torch. Might want to see if it works. Mine just force closes all the time until I uninstall it, the process somehow comes back and force closes a second time. All is fine after I uninstall it though.
Doesn't work
The Nexus One torch from the market works fine for strobe/normal brightness but high brightness has it flash on and off (about once every 2s) and turns the lcd screen off When running cyanogen, the torch.apk doesn't turn the screen off or flash.
I cant believe that there are no apps to do this. I think some of us might need to learn how to code lol
Yeah we got the APK it just needs to get fixed for the gingerbread roms because the apk i have worked on ARHD 3.x

(Q) Camera LED as flashlight?

Hello,
can i use the camera led as a flashlight? None of the flashlight applications i tried worked with my black. Is it possible?
Regards
Yes, it's possible. App with ID com.devuni.flashlight works for me. Can't post direct link to it, but you'll find it under the name Tiny Flashlight + LED by Nikolay Ananiev.

It works flawlessly!
Another app that works with the LGOB is the free "Swiss army knife", it also gives you a nice set of other tools, compass, ruler, water level, stop watch ...
https://market.android.com/details?...ndroid.swiss_army_knife&feature=search_result
You have to tick an option in the menu fpr the flashlight to work, though.

Kusie

LED flashlight app?

I'm having a hell of a time finding one that uses the LED flashlight but also has a decent interface
any suggestions?
I'm coming from the Nexus 1 and there were handful of flashlights specifically designed for that phone alone. Not so much the case with the Note it seems.
I'm using tiny flashlight, has quite a few features
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
why does tiny flashlight need to read phone status and ID and have full internet access?
I use tesla led
Tesla LED works great, I use it as a widget. Also widgetsoid's toggle switch in mode 2 for flash light works too
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Yet another Tesla LED user.
The widget is a godsend for immediate use.
I just gotta find out if I can theme it.
I'll try out Tesla LED. all I want is an LED flashlight, I dont care about anything else like strobe or colored screens
