yup, i would have to violently shake my phone to get them to work usually. eh they're ok live wallpapers lose their appeal after awhile. The mario one is still the best hands down.

Here's a cleaned up R2D2 bootup animation. I removed the "droid" part of it for those of us without droids. Tested and works perfect on my N1 and a friend's Hero.

as far as I know, it should work on just about anything. You can leave the original bootloader where it's at and just change the extension on it. Then copy this one to it (make sure the name is correct). You can always delete it if it doesn't work or you don't like it. After the novelty wore off, I went back to the stock Nexus One boot.
As a joke I'd love to get the DROID sound byte from the Droid X phone. Can anyone grab those sounds off the Droid X?

from my understanding it wont work on our phone because of the resolution and the size that the live wallpaper is cause it bigger then our screen cause its set up for bigger screens
Yeah it's only ported to the other Droid, won't work for ours.

Because I heard (emphasis on Heard) that someone had ported it over for the htc hero among other phones...i figure if its possible for those phones, why not for ours lol

I just found some Live Droid Eye wallpapers the other day, I cant post links yet but if you go over to the Android Development and Hacking > Android Apps and Games > D2EyeMod Live Wallpaper (Droid Eye LW)

That app crashes when you try and save a wallpaper. Not sure if its an issue with 2.3 or just ****ty coding. Used to work fine on my Nexus One.

It works perfectly fine on 2.1 devices as well. You can use it on Epic's running Eclair as well, just wanted to add it for any other Eclair users who were curious.
EDIT: All but Bubbles. That one is a hit and miss, it may work, or it may force close on 2.1.

I think it's because to some extent Bubbles tests the Optimus's graphic acceleration so I believe LG is probably taking logs from the actual wallpaper and seeing if there are any hiccups in the displaying of the actual 3D or fps in conventional real time use. But that's just a guess on my part, it would make sense if I was head of the development team for the company lol, but I'm not.

Edit: I am off work the next three days so i will be adding lots more to this list. I will also be creatingg animated gifs of each boot animation so you can see them before you download.
Edit: I have now included demos for each one. Keep in mind a animated gif image is not very high quality. It is meant to give you a general idea. All of these will look much better on your phone. I have also cleaned up all the links to make things look less cluttered. I also decided to not embed the animated gifs here so that this page wouldnt take forever to load. Tomorrow i will be adding more animations after i finish optimizing them for our screens. Also when i hit 800 total downloads ill be releasing a animation i created myself.
