App to change icons - Hero CDMA Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone recommend an app that I can use to load custom icons? I have never wanted to try this before but it would be cool to try out...
Also wondering if the app you sugguest would change the icon on home screens, app drawer or both

You can change the icons for an app on your homescreens by adding a shortcut to the app.
Press and hold on homescreen > Shortcuts > Applications
After you pick the app you want, tap on the icon in the dialog box and replace with the icon you want.

[Q] How do you change your lockscreen wallpaper?

Hi...
I have seen people with a different wallpaper on their lockscree from what they have on their homepages etc and I'd like to know how to do that?
Do you have to be using a lockscreen app or can it be done in the system itself?
I'm rooted as well if that helps.
Please advise... thanks...

I tried Widget Lockscreen but in needs to be constantly run in background using cca. 10MB of RAM which is not acceptable for me. Can somebody else confirm it? Any other solution?
Thanks.
You have an option in the settings>display settings>wallpaper.

Yes... I'm sure... hmmm... I wonder why I don't have this option? I'm in Canada on an i9000m if that matters and again I'm on 2.2 froyo and NOT 2.2.1 if that makes a difference.

Flash a 2.2.1 Rom with unmodified gallery3D and use Samsung lockscreen on it, that's how u can choose lockscreen wallpaper.

Pretty sure that the custom wallpaper feature wasn't available until 2.2.1.

Folders in the app drawer?

Is this possible? I don't want to use GO launcher EX. And organizing apps on the home screen is hard and annoying. That's why i want them in the app drawer. If there isn't a way to do it in the app drawer maybe there is a way to easily organize folders on the home screen maybe?
U can make folders on homescreen
If my post helped, don't mind hitting THANKS
Won't Apex Launcher do that?

I don't want them on the hone screen because its too fiddly. I want them in the app drawer or I want an app that can make it so that I can easily put them on the home scree. I HAVE ABOUT 200 APPS!
With Apex you can just drag and drop to create folders, so you can have as many as you have space for on the home screen. You can even create them in the tray.
Not sure that helps though ;o)

Need help

How do I fix the bottom right? I was trying to get rid of the cam shortcut and use the mail. But now I don't know how to remove it. Does anyone know how to. Thanks for reading.

Open app drawer. Drag items you dont want into app drawer. Place item you do want back

What he said ^^^ looks like you created a folder by accident. The bottom bar isn't like on other android phones, on this phone it's a part of the app drawer so to put apps on it or take them off you always have to be in the app drawer.

If you're using an alternative launcher, you'll need to make sure that you're editing the dock in the HTC Sense launcher (you may have to go into Settings > Applications > <your launcher here> > Clear defaults to get into the Sense launcher again.
