LED flashlight app - Fascinate Themes and Apps

I found one that works with this phone, it's called led dance strobe... Sounds fruity I know but it works!
Sent from my crippled with Bing, Galaxy S phone.

The program just called "Flashlight" with a picture of a flashlight, also works.

Try Tiny Flashlight + LED in the market. Free and actually works like the DX flashlight.

TeslaLED has widget, plus no ads.
good day.

I second Chopper, Tesla is the tits. Not only is there a customizable widget, but you can set regular, strobe, or even a custom pattern (morse code for those of you using your fascinates to communicate between ships or something).

I like the app, but can't get it to strobe or Morse code.

Have you tried to add widgets with tesla?

also i tried an led changer app, and it didnt do anything, so.. i think its safe to say that it doesnt and wont work,
its probably just a single color red LED up there anyways

ah, my bad:
so then we technically should be able to make it any color in between the two?
I agree about the colors, would be nice to add some flavor. It all depends on the chip-set of the led, some have one or more with which it enables a photon beam of light to pass through.True color changing led's have several diodes incorporated into the led.
If we could get them to flash repeatedly for notifications that would be awesome

led notifications
There is is app available on the Droid market called LED me know. It doesn't support multiple colors, but it does let you change how often the LEDs flash. I just got my Aria from using a palm treo pro, I loved that I could set it to make the beacon light up. LED lets you get the LEDs at the bottom of the screen to light up. It does have faults... most task managers kill the app and it stops the home keys from lighting up sometimes. Hope this helps.
There's a hidden feature in CM7 that lets you change LED color and frequency by application. I found it searching for launchable apps in Minimalistic Text Widget. Still just red, green and orange work, however.

Flashlight doesn't work with ExtendedControls and Switch Pro Widget - Alternative?

Hi, is there any alternative widget like those mentioned above that make the LED flashlight work?
THANKS
I don't know of any widgets but I use droid light from the market! It comes in handy all the time

Flashlight works with D3 and comes with a widget.
Tesla works pretty well. It takes about half a second for it to turn on but there is a widget(s) you can have to do certain things.

I'm using tiny Flashlight + LED
works great.
Thanks for your help guys! Hopefully Switch Pro will be updated. I like it to have all functions in one single widget.
Anyone know if Torch works? or was that only part of CM7?
I can't find it on the market...
I carry a Streamlight ProTac 2L everywhere I go now. I tried using the flashlight apps, screw it. Nothing beats the real thing.

Looking for a good flashlight app ?

Very small, well made, free, good looking.
I like this one https://market.android.com/details?id=com.colinmcdonough.android.torch
Super simple, light weight and works well on Note.
I prefer the one in quick settings. Easy to get to and works well.

"Quick Settings" is an app in the market. You can have it reside in the notification panel, and open it from there. The top right of the window shows a flashlight icon. That can be either configured for the LED light, or the screen.
Why don't you use the flashlight widget on the phone by default? It has 3 settings and it's really convenient. I use it all the time.
I never seen Flash light widget by default on Note. At least not on my Note, there isn't one in list of Widgets to add by default.
Or is it hidden somewhere?

The one that came with my note is called 'Torch' in my widget list. But I am not using this widget anymore.
Thanks mate, i'm downloading now

Want to find or build notification app.

I was wondering if any one knew of an app that would blink the capacitive home screen button when you have a notification. I have looked around on the play store to no avail. I have never developed anything for android. I have got myself setup to begin designing an app that will basically turn the home button into a notification light while the screen is off. If anyone knows of an app that can do this or would like to help please let me know.

I know this is nothing even close to what you are looking for, but I found it useful on another phone that didn't have a notification led.

If you could update with what it was that you found usefull that would be great. Thanks. I am looking for anything close to posibly even take ideas from.
It shows a small icon on the screen for different notifications, which if I remember correctly are all customizable. So it's a persistent icon on the screen letting you know about missed calls, texts, unread emails, or whatever you set it up for. It only uses a tiny amount of screen, and therefore backlight. Back when the Android phones first came out a lot of them didn't have leds for notifications. I don't remember having a big hit on my battery at the time from the program.

Ill have to check it out. I have used a few like that and they didn't act right, made the screen act weird. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just got the Turbo today, and I will try it out too. I know it was a lifesaver when I had my Samsung Captivate.
A nudge or a wave shows moto display, I think it's the natural evolution of a notification led
I know but i wish it didn't. I have the wave turned off but i cant turn the nudge off. I only want it to display if there is a notification. If there is nothing it should just wait patiently. But that's just me.

Now see I'm the opposite I want it to show more like battery %. I don't wear a watch anymore and love active display for checking time.

NiLS
NiLS in the Play Store will but notifications on the lockscreen... however you will have to disable Active Display and go with the normal lock screen.

That could work, thanks.

Fake lockscreen blocks lockscreen animation and OOD

Google just restored about 200 apps, and one of them is creating a very simple, unmarked lockscreen, blocks the lockscreen animation and always on display.
Does anyone know of a way to find that damn application that creates the lockscreen?
As i said there is nothing distinctive on that fake lockscreen, just a google voice to the left, and a circle to the right that shows you wifi, bluetooth, flashlight and 1 other that i don't remember.
There is one that's a Flashlight App that's doing it, I had to Uninstall it from my wife phone

I found it manually, it was one of 2 apps that add shortcuts to Android 7 Statusbar.
