Hey guys, I'm from the Droid X forums but was playing with a fascinate today. Gotta say if I didn't have my X i would've gotten that. Anyway's I was wondering if anyone could give me the .apk of the clock widget with the weather? I really enjoyed that and would love to see if it'll work on my X. Thanks.
You can get it out of the system dump but its a touchwiz widget so it won't work.

Would that be with Motoblur UI? I think the general consensus is the motoblur ui was not happening.

Edit: Oh yeah, anybody know if theres a flashable Droid X lockscreen floating out there?
I had to many issues with the Droid Does Rom.
IF you have adw launcher there is a free theme in the market for droid x launcher and icons.
Download the new ADW Launcher from the market, then search for ADW Themes. There's quite a few freebies (one being the DroidX) that let you theme your launcher from ADW Settings. No need to metamorph or flash in recovery. You don't even have to reboot to see the theme. It takes less than a minute to apply them.

You can use custom icons in launcherpro, just find droidx icons (theres a droidx system dump floating around xda, you can find plenty of droidx images there, including motorola blur icons) and change the icons image.
I have looked around and tried the available transparent apps for other Android devices and so far the only one I have found that works on the G Tablet is the Pandora app. I really would like to find some more. If anyone has the apk's please post. Thank you in advance!!

here is a version of the news/weather aka genie widget that is transparent..
you have to manually copy to the system/app with root explorer. and reboot.

i'm new here, pardon the question, but what is a transparent app?
It's an app that is transparent. You can see your wallpaper instead of a solid background. I have an XDA app on my Droid X that is transparent except for the writing and a market that is transparent as well but they wont run on my g tablet so I was hoping more people might have the apps that would work on the g tablet. As you can see, not so much. Hmmmm

i also use beautiful widgets that has an option to set the weather/clock/cal widget as transparent
also use set cpu widget which has an optoin for transparent
also use pure calendar widget that has a transparent background.
but these are all stock avail. in the marketplace..
use to have a hacked facebook widget that was transparent.. but not for froyo. or latest version.
stiull looking for a theme or a version of a theme with a transparent notification bar for gtab. vegan 5.11 but have been unable to find one.
by the way not using xda app but using a bought version of tapatalk.. it does run fine on the gtrablet.. recommend youpick it up.. xda is a customized scalled down version of tapatalk.

I bought this phone for the hardware... but man do I miss the Sense UI.
Found and purchased Fancy Widgets for the homescreen clock and weather, but still looking for the calendar and email widgets.
Any pointers on some sense-like widgets?
I would look into Launcher Pro Plus in the market. There are some themed widgets that go along with it.
Beautiful widgets are a great substitute for the weather widget from sense.

Thanks for the input. There is some nice stuff out there, you've just got to look for it I guess. Spent hours searching for what came stock with HTC.
Time will tell if the hardware on this phone is worth it, or if I should have stuck it out and waited for the Vigor.
I've installed Circle Clock Widget, Weather but the Homescreen could not be installed
Can anyone make the launcher of the Droid Razr series (Homescreen.apk) available on android L so that it can be installed on Turbo (or X -G-E series); or make the clock be a stand alone apk
