LED Notification? - HD7 General

I have yet to see a video of the HD7 with some kind of LED notification. Anyone know if it has one or not?

The LED notification is located in the top grill (earpiece).
Heres a link showing the LED light on, the light is slightly off centre to the right.
The front on pictures and video clearly show it being on.

Phew good! Thanks for the link.

It only works when you're charging or when the battery is dying. For emails and everything else...you have to unlock the phone.

I'm pretty sure I've noticed it flashing when I've got a missed call

[Q] MIUI led notification i9000, ho to turn off!?

Hi!
A few weeks ago I went back to the MIUI rom. Everything worked really good, except for one small problem. The led buttons lights up when getting a notification and stays on even when the screen is off. Usually, on previous versions of MIUI roms, you could turn the led notifications on/off. But there's no such option available anymore... So, someone please help med turn the led notification off.
Bump! I'd also really like to know as well.
Going into LED settings and turning it off doesn't cut it anymore.
I'm also having this problem, anyone?
It's probably a slight error in the coding or whatnot...
Any new idea how to turn LED off?
EDIT: found it - http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/how-to-disable-led-notifications.12454/
Wel done good job

[Q] a question on the design looks of different variations...

I've noticed on the WHITE AT&T VIVID that there's a small rectangle/round edge window on the front near the top speaker to the left of the logo..etc

I don't have that on my black VIVID...
anyone know what that is ?? is it the ambient sensor for the display light ??
so why it's only shown on the white version ??
Thanks

Yes you do, shine a bright light at the top of the glass, all of the same 'windows' are there.
I think the capsule/rectangle one is the proximity sensor -- an emitter and a receiver to gauge proximity, and the top left dot is the ambient light sensor.

Purple Animating screen when locked?

I have been meaning to ask this, but haven't figured out how to replicate this screen until now. If you cover up the sensors when the screen is locked you get a purple animating screen with your messages, missed calls, and battery notification. I managed to get a screen shot of this. How do you turn this off, or better yet, what is it?
I apologize with my many questions lately; I just am really trying to explore and understand this amazing device. If this has been asked before, my I apologize again.

Another notification icon question

I have had my phone since Sunday, but haven't had much time to really mess with it because of a busy work schedule. I did unlock the bootloader and root, but I have no idea where this icon came from or what it is in reference to. When I swipe the notification bar down, there is nothing there that references it. It has been present for a couple of days, but everything seems to be functioning correctly. Can anyone help me identify the icon and why it's there please? It's the one to the far left in the image below. Thanks.

You are in do not disturb mode, or no interruption mode or whatever it is called. Priority is a star, and all is nothing.

Thank you very much. lol Was kind of worried about it. Appreciate the info.

General Useless but kinda cool feature

Did you know that the top part of the phone, the iridescent glossy part, actually lights up in the dark? I just discovered this and I'm surprised that no one noticed this before, or at least I heard no one mentioning this. Such a little thing but it made my day for sure!

You have to charge it with another source of light if you use a opaque cover, I use a transparent one and every night the top part is glowing with me doing nothing
Yeah, I have tried that. Used different light sources including UV but no glow..... bit disappointed actually
I haven't seen anything about it. Anyone have any info on it?
It just glow in the dark. It's working for me..should glow for everyone.
