I've seen a bunch of other phones already have ports of the liquid metal ROM, and i was very surprised to see that we dont have anything in our nexus section.
I'm hoping maybe if we get a strong response in this thread maybe someone will start working on a port for us.
Maybe start by telling us what liquid metal ROM is and what features it has that makes it special?
It appears to be a custom ROM for the Acer Liquid... why people would want it on a Nexus I have no idea

its got a scrollable lockscreen with multiple widgets, notifcation bar is on the bottom, the lockscreen is pretty damn cool as well.
plus its got cool multitasking views to see everything you have open. kind of palm OS style.

It would be really cool if someone got that launcher and ported it to Android. I'd love to use that.

There are a couple of custom roms that do make the Galaxy phone operate and look like WP7.......... don't know about other phones but the Vibrant has 3 out right now.

Looks like a fun and useful UI, I'd use it...assuming it doesn't have a big hit on battery life..

This is different, it's not just a launcher that looks EXACTLY like WP7, it has some elements of it's own and the ui looks altered a little. I think it's better than just the WP7 launcher.
Ran across this article today discussing a very promising launcher that will be coming to tablets. It's a kickstarter campaign atm but I'm definitely excited to give it a try when released. Hopefully by the time it's released I'll be rockin a nexus tablet on jellybean

Nice find, 5bucks is a bit too much for me though. I spent money in other launchers but I always go back to a MIUI kind of experience.

5 bucks is cheap compared to spb shell. Gosh I regret ever buying that launcher when it first came out.

I've pledged too. It looks pretty good. I think the main issue, as with standard launchers is the widget support.
I absolutely love the work these guys do - amazing. I emailed them today about making some product for the Nexus 7. They responded with a simple, "If we get at least 10 email requests, we will support the device."

They make skins, primarily for Apple products. Carbon fiber, things like that.
Not to be sexually biased in anyway, decalgirl.com already makes skins, and yes they have CF too, but I think is just an image no texture

i have decal girl skin on my a500.. awesome and yes its smooth. not sure if she does textured ones or not mine is quite old..

I did, when I was on the site looking at their product. more choices are always better, cause who knows how long it will take unique skins to add the nexus.

I just saw the iOS 7 video, and I thought the parallax thing was pretty awesome. you guys think that this could happen with the android? or is there some hardware limitation?
and wow, other than the icon, I think the systems looks really aesthetic for the new iPhone. I'm sticking with my HTC One for another 2 years though
