my mate does vinyl sticker/sign writing and car wrapping etc.... and has some very nice carbon fibre effect stuff, he was over my mates garage doing some work on a motorbike and i asked him to stick some on my battery cover looks awesome, considering it hasn't cost me anything at all

Beautiful work. FYI, sign shops have vehicle wrapping films that contour well and are easily applied. If you walked into a local sign shop and asked for a scrap large enough to cover your battery case, they would probably charge you nothing or next to nothing as they would be throwing away larger pieces every day. Worth a trip...

I've had my i9020t since early January this year and initially I bought the best buy platinum case by seidio but I've always absolutely hated it. On previous phones I've been extremely happy with the Fishbone style cases (like this one) but I've never been able to find one. Has anyone else had any luck and if not does anyone know who the manufacturer is so I could perhaps request one? They've always been dirt cheap with good looks and pretty good protection.

For 3 buckaroos you cant beat it. I've tried every case(literally) from amzer, casemate, trident, agies, tpu's of all sorts, knock offs, knock ons this is by far my favorite case. It looks great and is so thin. For clumsy people they might want to go for something more protective like the trident. Those are just to bulky for my taste. This case slides very nicely in and out of your pocket feels great in the hands. Try it out its only 3 mc chickens

i've got red and black being they are my favorite color. This case made me love my phone again after using so many crappy cases.
I came across this ordinary looking hard case on ebay but on closer inspection it seems to be made from a very different material then your normal plastic/tpu case. Does anyone have any experience with this case?

Wow I like this case. I'm half tempted to buy one although I really like a flap on my tablets for when lugging it around. Sometimes my hands get full and I use my tablet as a tray to balance a soda and some snacks. I have a screen protector, but it would be kinda weird.
This case looks very cool though. I really like the blue, gray, and the red. I'm curious how they feel though. Is it like a sandpaper texture or a rubber matte? I have a similar case for my Galaxy Nexus and it barely adds any bulk (why I like it). My Ringke Slim is a glossy smooth finish, unlike this one.
This would be an ideal case for people who just want to provide protection from the back and some side action... but not interested in a TPU case.
Anyone with an IMAK Cowboy case on the LG G2?

Anyone ever purchase a case from Cell-Nerds? I like several things about their cases, specifically they look like they have good corner bumpers to protect my Precious.
I also like some of the wacky crazy colors. :laugh:

This one is great except the other one has sensor to display info in the window.

If you haven't then, well, the case is going to look like you've been through a war zone in short order. Not a problem if you're going for the distressed look but if you're not I'd steer clear of those. Keep in mind the leather is top notch as is the construction, they are going for that look with those cases. I prefer the black as linked here, quality is visibly high enough it's drawn a few comments and it doesn't go into distressed mode like some of the brown cases.

dont really like the Davis case, its craftsmanship it poor, the leather smells good, but the pattern is uneven. and it is sloppy when closed.
i would recommend Nodus and iPulse
the iPlulse one gets magnetic closure, and it does not affect the s pen, someone said it does, but you just need to push away the magnetic piece away from your screen.

I've had two of the Davis so far, both were easily superior to the iPulse Mrs Crab had on one of her phones. Nothing uneven or sloppy about any of them but the Davis has notably better leather quality, construction quality, stitching, etc. I was wondering if I was off base reading your post and went ahead and skimmed some tube reviews which all lauded them for all the same things I mentioned, construction, material quality, stitching. Right now one of my kids is running around with a 6P I handed down with one of them and it is still holding together just fine after a couple years. Not something you can say about most leather cases which usually go a year or so for me.
I'm wondering if you had a knock off?
I've got the ipulse one in tan and it doesn't effect the S pen at all.
Just wish the ipulse leather wasn't so shiney. Personal preference is dull suede look not Patten look. But I think the ipulse will give better drop protection since the case edges - the leather wallet corners sit further out than the Davis one.
