Hi, i hope you can help me, one wee ago and without explanation mi little xperia lost the sound, i mean, when i turn on the phone the sound of the begining works and if someone calls me the ringtone also works, but when i answer the call and i try to hear the other person i don't hear anything, an interesting thing is that when i try Xperoid all the things related with the sound works great, i mean, i can listen the music and talk with someone without problems. I made a hardreset and it didn't work, and i made a change in the OS to 826x Series ** WM 6.5.3 build [21682] - Sense 2019. and it didn't work too.
Actually i don't know what im gonna do but i really need the phone so i'll be happy if someone can help me!!!,

I have a htc diamond, and I configured almost all registry tweaks, but since the first day I switched on my phone I have this problem:
I encounter the phone speaker "disabled", usually when I have some calls that I couldn't answer. Then the phone is in "mute", no sounds can be played (it doesn't hear in speaker), and to fix it, I have to do a soft-reset. This problem occurs a lot of times in a day.
I think is a software problem, but I don't know....

my friend it also happend to me but i can make it work againg playin some music and after a couple of seconds it disconect the signal and when it come back the sound come back as well.

when call connected...the speaker is soundless...i have to use loud speaker..
but mp3 playback is working fine..

i have the same problems, both income call and music are soundless however the earpiece and other stuff are fine. i am running wm 6.5 do i need to install some software to fix it?
Hello, I am new to the site and I'm having a very serious issue with the in call volume of my att tilt, With phone volume set all the way up to high I can hardly hear the person I am speaking with I have to hold the phone tight against my ear and still have a hard time hearing them and when I'm outside forget about it can't hear them at all. My speaker works great very loud the problem is just the ear piece on the phone it self. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME??? I am runninh WM6.1 official from HTC website and it's the AT&T rom the phone is completly stock. I have searched other threads and really no answers. thanks and take care.

SRS WOW did work for me but I see some are having problems in WM6.1

Not so much as a step by step but if you read the post you will get a fill of what you need to do.
I did try and find the hack so you could use Audio Booster all the time. But was unable to do so, it is meet for the ear-phones only with out the hack. But did come across this, it may work for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328450&highlight=setacoustic&page=5 one person said it work for his kaiser.
The only other things I know to do at this time is to drop back to wm6 or maybe try a hybrid Rom to use SRS WOW or go with a bluetooth unit.
Not sure you know this or not but their is two volumes to adjust one is the two bar one the other is the in-call volume. You adjust it when in a call only it will only have one bar to adjust.

well I expose my problem, first avoid , I tested everything I could. The sound of music ,vids, and so on works pretty fine BUT when i'am InCall the sound is getting poor so bad that i can't understand anything(some kind of metalic vibration) it goes to silence sometimes.

I have had different roms, generally NRGZ rom for my ATT Tilt 2.
Now I don't know if this is an issue for everyone but it's an issue for me and it seems like nobody knows how to fix it.
I've tried everything, all the audioparas and all the cabs available that make the sound go louder. I LOVE when the sound goes loud, but the phone calling is disabled, meaning I can hear the person who is calling me they can't hear me because some malfunction where the mic doesnt work once this Serigo76 Loud Speaker Cab is installed.....is there anyone who knows why this is doing this? Please help because the default volume for the Tilt 2 is soooo low I can barely hear my alerts when the phone is right next to me in normal environments.....
If anyone can find out how to make this work I'll give a donation I just really need to have my phone louder.

reflash rom then after all setup go to hd tweaks got to volume control change acoustic settings to normal then change increase sound to high then reboot after that test mic with call if ok then install serigo76 loud cab reboot everything should be fine after that. this is what worked for me with cell v9 rom.
also keep questions in proper tread per rom

Hi everybody, actually I don't know if anybody had the same problem, if so please post a link to the thread. So, I have a bad issue with my Nexus One. The sound during a call is very very weak, even when I turn the volume to the maximum, it sounds like my contact is talking from afar. I bought my phone from a guy, and the phone was powered by non-customized Android 2.2.1 FRG83D build (the Vodafone/SFR french carrier version). Someone tell me to install CyanogenMod 7 because the sound is a little bit louder, so i did this, but it doesn't solve my problem. Actually I can give the phone back to this guy, or bring it to the HTC customer service, but I really want to take care of this issue as fast as possible. If someone can help me I would appreciate.
Try flashing a kernel with the audio boost feature.
