Yep, I'm on a mac. I've been having a lot of problems with SD Card space, even though only half of my 4Gb should be used. Whenever I look at it in Astro, I see ._name files for most every file I have had on there, including all of the ones I have removed. I tried to backup today, and got an SD Card full error, loaded it up in WhatSize and got this:

So, I have 2Gb of deleted files in a .Trashes folder. WTF? I get an error when I try to delete the folder or open it in Finder. I thought that temp trash should be deleted when I Eject? I always safely eject, instead of just pulling it out.
TL;DR: Contents of SD card total 2.01Gb, shown on disc as 3.69Gb. The extra data is in .Trashes, and I can't figure out how to clean it. Halp?

Hi, I'm installed CM7 following this instructions , everything works perfectly but I noticed that the system is saying I've 1GB space in "Internal Storage", plus another 5GB in emmc.

Is this normal? I thought CM7 was supposed to get installed onto emmc, did I do anything wrong? And is there anyway I can move applications onto emmc instead of SD card or keeping on internal storage?
In this case the EMMC 5.00GB is the internal storage that B&N put in for books/music/videos etc. You are installed correctly

I have a few picture folders on internal sdcard which were created when I was on stock and rooted touchwiz. Now I have moved on to CM10.1 and can't see contents of those folders or create or delete anything from the PC when phone is connected to the PC.
I get this error if I try to create a folder inside those folder.

I can see those folders and all pictures inside them when I am in phone's gallery.
Does anyone know how can I resolve it and what problem it could be?

I seems to be able to see my extn SD card in recovery with some files save in it but I am unable to see what files I have in file explorer. The phone is able to tell me how much free space I have on the card but I am unable to save any backup through App Backup and Restore. What seems to be the problem here? Can someone pls explain...
Previously I was using 16GB till I upgrade to CM10 decided to use a 32GB. I tried back my 16GB & 4GB card as I thought it was faulty but same results. All 3 cards was running perfectly in my galaxy tab ( able to mount/unmount ). I even format the card twice using the computer. Is it safe to restore back my efs in CM 10?

I got a HTC HD7 from a friend asking me to help fix it.
It was stuck on the HTC logo on boot.
I tried to format it it did not work.
I replaced the Micro SD Card inside, just to see if that was the problem. I formatted it with a spare SD Card and it worked.
So just to try, i put the original SD Card back inside. Now it works.
However I am unable to get access to the spare SD Card.
When I double click on the icon in My Computer it says D: is not accessible. Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
I looked for solutions, I tried chkdsk and i tried Diskpart

Can anyone help fix this problem with the SD Card?
i made a selinx change"was stupid idea " from recovery and got boot loop
then accidentally wiped my system partition and phone gave black screen and red light only
and so i flashed .ftf with flash tool i did it twice till it worked and flashed on the phone but after that i can't see anything in internal storage
