after rooting the rom, i did test it on the phone to check whether the rom is functioning or not.
if i'm not wrong, there is only 3 languages:
1. English
2. Hebrew
3. XXXX (sorry i can't remember what is it)

i'm not familiar with deodex but when 'cooking' the rom there is a function of deodex. i just extract any words with 'framework' in it after i deodex the rom. see the attach file if inside is what u want.
Thank you very much!
deodex

deodex? that u have to google to find out. the rom that i have rooted for u, do contain busybox pre-installed.
Can anyone add support for other languages in this rom eg. Danish? Would be nice to try it out
SMS bug still exist on this ROM, also the keyboard has no 'minimize' button (yes, alternatively we can hold 'menu' button). I have'nt noticed any other changes before formating phones memory

flashing the rooted won't flash the bootloader, it will remains as what you are having. i didn't flash using the official one because that will un-root my phone. and i don't want it to happens.
how? can you give a link or somthing. thanks.

Unfortunately it does not work for me I tried both ROM, maybe I'm just not running the correct settings.
At first I installed the ROM then I did Reset
and Creating a partition this way:
B. Reboot into recovery
c. In android system recovery, select partition sdcard
d. In the partition sdcard menu, select partition sd
e. Follow the instructions on the phone to partition your sd card. You can optionally set a swap file while you are partitioning your sd card.
F. In the partition sdcard menu, select sd:ext2 to ext3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Thank you very much

[Q] Unlock bootloader to flash new rom?

Hey guys!
Found my old xperia x8 and i wanted to flash a new rom.
rooted it and installed xrecovery.
do i need to unlock the bootloader to flash a new rom?
Or just for the kernel?
you unlock your bootloader to flash a custom kernel. Some roms are for stock kernel and others are for customs. What rom do you want to install? Also you maybe will need cwm and not xrecovery.

To install new kernel, shoould i do any wipe/clearing data?

excuse me, i'm new to android, so you could say that i'm blind in this kind of thing
To install new kernel, shoould i do any wipe/clearing data?
i'm using viper rom 1.2.1 and it has the viper hub to install kernel, but i have to enter the recovery, and now i'm using bulleproof kernel, and i want to install the ultimax kernel, should i wipe or do anything before flashing the kernel (just like rom) ?
please need help, sorry for the bad english..
No, installing kernel doesn't need you to wipe data. Only wiping cache or dalvik cache is enough (as some kernel's also automatically did this upon flashing so, it depends.)

Yeah, but it is always advised that you do a backup of your rom first, just in case something goes wrong and you want to restore everything back. As for the kernel, I personally use ElemantalX, got no big issue with it. Basically you have to try by yourself though and find the best that suits you.

No I mean, the backup of your whole system. You can find the backup option in the recovery. It's okay, nothing wrong in asking when you really don't know about something.

I had the same thing, but I resolved it and succesfully unlocked my jena S6500d.
I flashed stock rom from Orange Romania, but before that, I full wiped phone, system, data, dalvik...
So, try to wipe system, then install an old LC3 rom, not the lastest MD1 !
