Anyone using any of these ROM's?
I personally am not. I think that the stock rom is just fine. I will wait till the official 2.2 comes out, then there will be no need for a custom rom, at least for efficiency. What I have noticed though since I rooted was the more apps I have installed to make my phone "better, faster, more battery efficient" just seemed to burn up my battery. Not sure exactly what apps were doing so but since I have deleted all of those types of apps and are using nothing now.

I didn't care for swype so I switched to the HTC keyboard.

Correction: CM6 is built on AOSP 2.2.
But generally, all ROMs are built off AOSP which is vanilla Android.
Anyone tried this? What works and what doesn't work?

No data, I verified all APN settings and could not get data working. After that I just went back to a nandroid backup.
This is a completely stock JK6 Froyo build. It is CWM flashable. There are absolutely no mods in this build, as stated, it is stock and only includes the basics to retain root and superuser permissions. I did remove a couple things, but nothing that will compromise the stock build.
Includes:
- Root
- Busybox
- Su
- Rom Manager
Removed:
- Annoying T-Mobile Startup sound
- Annoying T-Mobile Pink Bootanimation
Install:
1. Load zip on internal sdcard
2. Reboot into Clockwork
3. Flash
Corrected stock configuration bug, added fix and reuploading.

I'm on v5 and I gotta tell ya whoever tried to catch lightening in a bottle obviously didn't have a vibrant cause its fast as hell can't wait for the new mods

100% - 2.2.1 is still very Alpha

Do those all from inside recovery - the first 2 are there to see, the second 2 are in the advanced menu.

First off I clicked your thanks button for all of your effort and a contribution to you and/or team whiskey is forthcoming.
Second, rom is running smooth. Would like to point out that a few things do work so far that I have added/changed. GB keyboard working. Latest market (like 2.7 or something) working. Pulled the black Google search box apk from Nero V1 working.
Will test further and post back results.
Update; Flashed Heathens animations intended for Nero and got an unexpected side effect. The animations worked but I now have the Nero black and green status bar and no issues so far.
Will post further as I tear it apart and put it back together.
It looks as though all of the Mods available on TW site work with this rom. Flashed the blue 5 bar signal and it was too bright, plus didn't go with the black and green Google search box. Flashed the green 5 bar and it works. Flashed the Blackout/Green Gingerbread keyboard and it works.
Solid Rom. Very customizable. Good job look forward to whatever you come with next..ah, ah, 2.3, chew. Ooh sorry bless me. LOL

Its not clear heathen i thought i read that your wifi is broken on one of your roms. Is this the rom? Im unable to get the wifi working on this rom. Again i apologize if this has been answered but i dont see it in this thread.

Yes most all of the Nero mods will work - BUT they are made in such a way as to guarantee that Nero retains its theme after flashing, so they will give you what you want, while giving you a little extra.

I am not going to try and sell the ROM to you by telling you it is the fastest, most stable and so on. If you try it, Great! If not, I can tell you you are missing out.

Im testing the final version of dead horse on this rom so far is fast as a rocket very amazing the only thing I noticed is that it can delete a few apps well at least that's what happen on my phone.and also it changes the market back to stock. Ill let you once I find out if there's a fix for this.
