[Q] Videostreaming problem by Wifi not by 3g - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Some videos can`t be streamed over Wifi only by 3g (Mobilenet)
When I am playing the video by wifi it stop streaming and I got the massage:
"sorry, this video cannot be played" ?????
Same video works fine over 3g (Mobilenet)
Is there someone with the same experience?

Now I figure out that the problem is also the other way. Some videos can be played on wifi not on 3g.
Official froyo installed.
Tried with different players.

Video streaming collection

Guys,
Do you have good video streaming site?
Here what I just got. It has been tested (randomly) using the HTC Streaming (connected to 3G, not Wi-Fi) and it worked fine.

may be a router RTSP routing performance issue - dunno. use an alternate, FLV-based player. see my YouTube Bible (sticky in General)

[Q] Problem with YouTube video playback

Hello,
Suddenly I have a problem with YouTube video playback. The videos start streaming ok, but the appear small (not fullscreen) and very low quality. It used to work fine. The locally recorded videos play nice even in 720p. The problem is with the streaming video player.
I installed the LagFix (which works miracles) at somepoint earlier. Do you think that this could cause this problem? Any one else has seen it?
Thanks,
Michael

YouTube app on my HTC One unable to play back HD content without constantly freezing

Hi guys
I was wondering if any of you have come across this? I can watch a song video/trailer/anything on YouTube on my macbook in HD and it will play perfectly via my wireless connection. However, same video, same wireless connection, and my HTC One YouTube app cannot play it. It just constantly freezes and locks up, making it unplayable. Very annoying considering it has a 1080p screen. It seems that it's just not buffering enough?
If you remove HD it will play perfectly. Does anyone else have this problem?
Any HD content is the same. For instance, as an example, this is the World's End HD trailer:
http://youtu.be/n__1Y-N5tQk
Plays fine on Macbook in 720p, stutters and freezes on my HTC One. What is the point in having a 1080p screen if you can't stream even a trailer over a wireless network?!
Anyone noticed this/got a solution? Other than the frankly bizarre 'watch later' which seems to decide whether to download a clip using some sort of black magic tied in with the moon phases?
Dude you posted in the wrong place.
Works fine for me. What are you running for a ROM. What app version of YouTube?
Tell us more information other than its not working properly.

Just use this and you'll be fine. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529715

I'm guessing it's either the phone's connection to the wifi network or (more probable) the YouTube app. Try clearing YouTube app data first and see if it works then. If not try uninstalling the app or uninstalling updates and then download it again. Don't have this issue myself so I'm taking random stabs in the dark for now, but this usually works for most apps.
