[REQ] Rotation Animation - Fascinate Themes and Apps

I would like to know if there is someone that could make a rotation animation that could be added with metamorph or pushed with adb. I think it would make the phone even more polished than it already is.

The only rotation animation I have seen on an android phone is the rotation animation in the browser of the samson galaxy tab. Other than that, people are pretty satisfied without animations.

Install different lockscreens?

Hey Guys,
Looking for some new lockscreens. Would really like the froyo 2.2 lockscreen from the droid x or D2. I like the looks of those slider bars.
Does anyone know if this is available or ones like it?
I dont know if its possible to replace the actual system lockscreens ... I know that WidgetLocker has those Motorola Froyo Lockscreen Setups, but well, its a external solution, the internal Lockscreen will not be replaced at all ...
one is called Lockbot

Awesome this is exactly what I was looking for. It works great, thanks for the tip, loving my new lockscreen now.
batmania15: since the latest lockscreen gestures update (in CM 0.04-10.11.29) I'm not using the unlock bars at all. You should check it out...

I tried the lockscreen gestures but didnt like them. I had one set for S and one set for B and everytime I drew the B it launched the one for S.
The default sensitivity was set too low, you could simply fix it for you by setting it to 3 or higher.
In 0.04-10.11.29, the default is now 3.

i think widget locker is a perfect choice
i m using it since i got the phone
While Widget Locker is a nice feature to have I think the Milestone just can't handle it. 256mb and if you throw a few widgets on it or a few widgets in your Launcher Pro/ADw, your home screen will redraw 24/7. I noticed like a 2x redraw rate with WidgetLocker. It's nice, but our phones can't handle it.
Need 512mb ram damnit.
sorry to hi-jack, but aren't you the Batmania15 from the MOTO Milestone support forums?
Any word on official FroYo?
i have another sort of question about lockscreen.
is there a way to have a picture on lockscreen different to the background picture?
You can set an alternative wallpaper i widget locker for the lock screen

Nadlabak,
The gesture lockscreen is great! Thanks for this.
Is it possible to use your gestures lock instead of standard Android visible pattern functionality? I mean to secure lock screen via gesture only. I ask because if you turn it on, then you can use gesture OR standard swipe unlock (so it's not securing the phone).
Thanks in advance for any sugestions!
Yes, you can turn off standard unlock slider option in the cyanogen settings.

Launcherpro

Hi
I am using launcherpro plus and like it.
The only thing I dont like is the animation when opening a app.
Is there any way to turn this off? I have looked in prefrences, but cant any option to turn it off.
I have set the app drawer to full speed, but this only applies to the app drawer, but not when opening a app.
Any help?
Thanks!
I'm using launcher pro plus too, I get no animations. Is it not your phone animations in settings -display - animations?

Yes....has nothing to do with Launcher Pro.
Nothing to do with LauncherPro
Try main phone settings>display>animations

VTLauncher: tablet-centric launcher based on adw!!!

I just saw this on the xda homepage:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017451
Its a new tablet-centric launcher based off of the adw open-source code but removes the phone-like dock bar and ads launchers thatbare highly customizable and scrollable. It is also suppossed to add support for scrollable Widgets as well!
Here is the description:
This Launcher is designed with landscape tablets in mind! (that's not to say it doesn't also function well in portrait mode..... as it does)
First off this launcher is based HEAVILY on ADW.Launcher's Source code so I would like to thank anderweb for all the ground work.
What I have done is begun to remove the tired old Phone Like dock bar we are used to in just about every android launcher and replace it with a sleek Scrollable/Drag-able/Drop-able/Rearrangeable "ALONG the BOTTOM" (NOW WITH TOGGLEABLE SIDE DOCKS AS WELL!) Application and Shortcut Dock.
You can drag any Application, Shortcut, Browser Shortcut, Folder, etc. onto or off of and even drag them to different positions along the bar. Basically just about anything you can usually place on the desktop (except widgets, sorry that is not going to happen) you can place on the dock bar.
So feel free to fill your desktop with widgets and clocks and weather and that cool picture of your cat , because all your favorite apps are a fling away at the bottom.
So far scrolling widget support is fully functional. If an app complains/or warns that it doesn't detect a compatible launcher ignore it and continue they should work (as long as they are ADW Compliant).
This should work on virtually any device. Though non large screen devices may have issues with the layouts so you will have to play with the desktop column and row numbers etc.
UPDATE Info: -Fixed all Paddings to be dynamic with regard to which docks are visible. -Increased the Folder Columns by one for both Orientations. -Fixed Animations and Reflections for proper directions on all dockbars. -Added Toggle Setting to Show/Hide the dockbar when the app drawer is open. -Added Right-Hand Dockbar w/Toggle Setting. -Added Left-Hand Dockbar w/Toggle Setting. -Changed Dock Style to be be centered instead of left justified. -Fixed a fling issue when there were less icons than cells that would cause the icons to fing right and stick. -Changed the default setting of drawer type to the vertical scroll style as it is smoother. -Changed the default setting of drawer color to have a slight alpha to it so you can see your wallpaper a bit.
Latest screenshot shows the new side docks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------Project site: http://vegantab.gojimi.com/vt-labs/vtl-launcher

Here is a screenshot of my setup. The launcher is a little buggy but the concept is cool and if they can clean up the code, it could be a serious contender for the tablet launcher crown.

PS. sorry about the crappy pic and link for pic. Screenshot er isn't working and tapatalk wont let me embed a pic from my xoom.
Cool - I'll give it a shot and post results!
I like the stock launcher better. The widgets are too small. Unless there is something similar with how the stock launcher transitions from screen to screen I will be set with the current setup.
It still feels very beta, the transitions seem "meh" however, it being a beta and all its expected. Uninstalled for now, but I'll be looking for updates soon.
Thanks.
Looks promising. I ran VEGAN on my G Tab and it was a nice alternative to stock. I will be interested to see how it turns out in the near future.
silly question...is there a home switcher that works with honeycomb? if not how are you switching back and forth between stock and this launcher?
Awesome, I was wondering when some tablet based launchers would emerge.
And also can you share that wallpaper

Updated to v1.6.2 here
does this work good on the xoom
I'm not very impressed with it. It was kind of slow and the app drawer interface leaves alot to be desired.

Remove colored tiles from TouchWiz App drawer ?

Someone knows an easy way to ONLY remove the colored tiles from TouchWiz drawer that are behind the icons ? i like TW but this colored tiles are annoying... Unfortunately i havnt found anything suitable for Tab yet
I know there is SGS tools from market with replacement TW launcher menu's, one of them being background tile free, im not sure if it works with Tab though?!..
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
hmmm in SGS tools i found upgrade stock apps --> upgrade tw launcher but not sure if thats the right one...
just tried. it replaces the complete tw version, but one i tried didnt work on SGT, seems only to work for SGS
Download adw, and set it up like touchwiz, but without the tiles

[REQUEST] sense lockscreen

can i request a sense 3.0/4 lockscreen for aokp? (with the animation)
i've tried out go locker and magic locker but can't find one complete with all the original animations (ie: the lock ring 'zooms in' as it unlocks the phone)
if its possible, itd be much appreciated! (dont wanna pay $3 for widget locker)
you mean like a port? a port is not possible because it uses different framework
Have you tried widget locker? Yes it seems costly but its well worth it, I loved it for a long time and the Sense 3 lockscreen seems spot on
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
just went ahead and bought widget locker,
loving the sense lockscreen haha, but unfortunately the 'zoom in' animation doesnt work when theres the pattern lock after it (works in the preview) oh well
You should ask evilisto I bet he can make it
Just look at his mods they're amazing!
