Battery Percentage reduced to 25%

Hi
My Nexus One just completed one year by this july.
And my problem is that My battery switches OFF at 23% battery.
That is, when it reaches around 23% it suddenly show 0% and switches off.
similarly when i charge the battery after around 75+ % it suddenly jumps to 100% percent and says charging completed.
I tried manually deleting the battery stats file.
I tried the Battery Calibration tool.
I tried charging the mobile to 100% as soon as its starts to shut down.
But still the same issue.
Is there a way to calibrate it or do i need to buy a new one ?
My rom : OxygeN1mod
I am getting around 6 to 8 hours if i use Gprs or wifi.
Another query :
in ebay.in 3200mAH battery is 9800 INR which is too high for me ( i bought my mobile for 14000 INR)
1400mAH battery is 2400 INR.
So is it better to buy a spare 14oomAH battery or a 3200 Battery ?
Please help me.
THanks in advance
Any one , please help
Tha'ts not normal if it's shut down at 25% ! ! !
Normally at 10%
Should buy à New One
If you don't care about the design of your n1. I suggest you the 3200 one

I heard that you can't fully charge the battery while the phone is running, it has too leave room since the battery is in use at the same time it's charging so it wont overcharge and ruin the battery.
So I was recommended to shut the phone off once in a while to charge the phone to full 100%.
Mine is now starting to die at around 20% but when new it died around 10%, newer lower.
But then again the battery could just be going bad.

Install de battery calibrator (for nexus one) search in the google play
Verify the field "battery age" and set to 100%
Reboot and give a full charge
Drain normaly the battery, and look the percentage of the shutdown
If your phone shutdown on the 15%, set the battery age to 85% (100%-15%)
If dont work try:

Need HELP with CM9.1 BaTTERY

Guys please help me!!!!
My battery DRAINS even if I don't use WIFI BLUETOOTH .... or something like.
It just drains ,I want another kernel like battery extender by libiSC but some that is compatible with CyanogenMod 9.1 (RC2):crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Welcome to my world.......
Ever since i flashed nims kernel v2.2or so, my battery's been behaving weirdly: after a full charge, it goes down normally.. But when it reaches 80%, it starts dropping rapidly no matter what i do. A minute later, its 75% and it will stay there for a long time.... before dropping drastically again. at the end. i still use up my battery within 1h 30min or so with lite 3G usage... As you can see from the screenshots taken from Settings>Battery.. Another weird thing is that when i reboot my phone, the battery level increases... e.g. i was playing angry birds that day, batt. dropped from 84% to 66%. ( i played for around 5 min with 50% brightness). And when i rebooted, the batt. level went from 66% to 79%! Was very shocked.. I hope there is another battery efficient kernel for my phone. Im on unofficial CM9 beta 10 MaclawStudios. I have changed my battery and STILL no difference. I have trird to flash firekernel but my fone fails to boot... Pls help me..

Galaxy Tab keeps showing remaining 3% battery even after charging

After charging full bar, I use about 30 minutes and then it says remaining 3% battery and about few minutes later it turns off by itself. So I usually just re turn it on which then the battery bar shows still full and then that 3% thing happens again after minutes later. What happen with it? I got mine only for 2 years

I think that your battery is too old now, even if the tab says "full charged"... It means that the battery is at its maximum of capacity, according to its lifecycle. You can change it easily:

Replacing battery would be easy. But I don't know know where to buy the battery at. I don't prefer buying online

Battery Skipping Percents

Has anyone noticed their battery skipping percents after the Android 4.3 update?
When my battery is fully charged it goes from 100% to 98% just from texting, but then it will go down percent by percent after 98. Still holds a charge as it did before the update, but I'm stumped as to why it skips 99%?

Yes..my case is even worse after 4.3 update
it directly goes from 99 to 93 in a matter of moments from unplugging
I am thinking this problem is due to the OTA update?
anyone who flashed the 4.3 RUU has the same problem?
Have you guys tried recalibrating the battery ? Basically you give it a full charge and delete /data/system/batterystats.bin and let it die completely and do the whole battery 0%-100% and back a couple of times
I have the same Problem with 4.3 Android. Battery goes from 100% to 92 % in 1 Minute ? On 4.22 has never this Problems.

I have the same thing.
Although it doesn't happen always.
I'm not sure but I think that it's a calibration problem. I have the feeling that when it says 100% it's not really 100%.
I'm saying this because if I leave the phone to charge for more time then sometimes I don't get the problem.
It's been reported a few times that you need to keep the phone charging for at least another 30min after the LED turns green (or says 100%).

[Q] Major battery / charging issue!

Hello XDA Community.
I bought an HTC One off of eBay, and I've been using it for 3 days now (I had a VZW HTC One before but the restrictions from VZW were annoying, let alone the updates that come after 6+ months). I did notice a problem, which is a major issue, since I depend on my phone a lot in my everyday life. The problem is this: The battery seems to lose charge normally at 100% til' 80%, then faster at 80% to 50% and within an hour or maybe less of little to no use, the phone goes to 40-30% percent and then goes from 30% to 20% in seconds, 20% to 15% or 13% in less than 10 seconds, and basically goes from 40% or 30% to 0% in a minute or two (sometimes even 30 seconds or so). It is driving me crazy.
I have been watching the phone, and I noticed something really strange, which made me suspicious of this being a software problem.
I charge the phone and by the time it goes at around 30% (30 or 31 yesterday, 36 today) it just shows the battery without the charging indication (no green filling in the battery, it just shows an empty battery and said percentages). When I unplug and plug back in the phone continues charging, but at a 76 to 80% charge. I would really appreciate some help, and thank you in advance.

Hello my friend. I bought a battery replacement off of eBay and I will go to an expert to change it for me, as soon as possible. I will let you know if the problem is fixed, or if it insists.
