hi guys
My phone was updating to 2.1 when it crashed and now all that apears is a black screen with some strangs commands.
I try hard reset and nothing, and when i put it in to Download Mode my pc detects it but KDZ dont.
Can u help so i dont sent it to warranty?

The problem that I have is that my phone keeps restarting after trying to update to 2.3.5.
The update appeared to be ok but before finishing you just have to select the language and so on.
Well, mine did not managed to reach that... It just keeps restarting and restarting and none of the buttons combinations does work for putting to download mode or reset mode.
I also uploaded a link for the movie, because it has 100mb and could not be uploaded here.
Any ideea guys?
Pull out battery, after a few minutes put it back and try to enter Download mode with 3-button combo (VolDown-Home-Power). Tell me if it works.

Now flash stock JVT with odin, restart, turn off, reboot in Download mode again, and flash a kernel to get CWM. After this, flash the custom rom that you prefer (or stay in stock).
I have made the steps like there, and when I reached the end It did not restart, and this time it is not starting at all and also not answering to any command.
No one can help? The phone also can not enter download mode !
Any one can see me or help me?
buddy do not play wid alll this thing....u perform all tbis by showing some guide.... there are lots of guide avail on xda for flash through odin so u have to follow

I could not make it work ! Not even using JIG ! homemade, but a good one - i checkd it.
So, it's back to warranty, hoping they will return it good or another one new.
It was practically dead !

Thank you! I had been trying to fix this problem all day and nothing worked until I tried this rom!
Hello again guys!
The phone returned from warranty, after 1month and 2 weeks.
It is not working as new, it has a little lag.
I installed Navigon and asphalt and the phone restarted, and entered the restart loop.
I made an update to I9003XXKP9 and i followed all steps but keeps restarting, i updated then to I9003XXKPE but with same problem, and at the end it can not make the hard reset, it turns some errors with red:
"E faild to mount data, no such file or directory."
"E:format_volume: rfs format faild on /dev/block/mmcblk0p3"
"Data wipe failed"
Any ideea?
Problem solved, 2nd time, by replacing mainboard. Thank you all for replying!
sir, i got a x1 from one of my costumer.. the error is when you turn it on, it will show up till the logo of ericsson then it will auto start, again and again...
also you can put the phone in booth mode..
in booth mode, you will see the 4 colours and

tried to update using seus... but wont connect
soft reset.... still same
hard reset....same
i read and search and search the internet about this till i see the MttY1.42.exe... and snoopyPRO and follow the instruction at XDA about this... but still the same...

and.. app_sw_x1i_vcom_za_cdf1215-0325_kovs_r1aa017
both of them i flash one by one using micro sd.. the flashing was successfull.. but still the same..
is this phone dead or brick... pls help,

My phone is in black screen with 4 button blinking. Can't get into Software Update mode. what should I do?
I try to reflash using smarttool but failed the problem remain after i flashed the rom.

If you cant get into SW Update mode, your chances to unbrick, are rather small... Did you try to unbrick it with and without battery? If not, give it a shot. ADB probably wont help, since your kernel doesnt seem to be loaded successfully... Which software did you use before the brick and which one and how did you try to flash it?
Yeah i tried with and without the battery and there are no thing change after the flash process. As i remembered that I installed one of Chinese dictionary and the problem orrcured. I don't know how to do now.
I try LG updater but also failed because i'm using cocked Rom.
Please help me.
And your sure, you held Vol+ while plugging in the USB cable? Just to make sure, it isnt just such a small user error...
yeah i did all the right things, this is the first time i get this error for this phone, each time i entered software update mode the screen hasn't show anything just a white death screen.

I tried to get my phone into download mode, but it does not go to this modus anymore. The error message is always showing..
I can also not reboot my phone or whatsoever ..
I have also tried the software Samsung Kies recovery mode, but it has failed to recognize my phone.
Does anyone know what I should do? Hpefully u can help me out!

First of all install the correct drivers this can be done while you install kies connect your gt8190 & your OS then just start to download files after that it should work
ive downloaded the firmware from sammobile and applied it with Odin and now its working again!
Ya weird some times my phone almost hard brick but by luck it got into download mode
Hi guys.
I was trying to flash stocked rom v30a on my phone because after i did a factory reset i got a error message with something about phone.com is corrupt and nothing i did worked.
So anyway i was going to flash in smartflash tool, and it looked that it would work, then i got a error message that i didn't have any axp installed in my system, tired as i was i removed the cable from my phone, the smartflash tool had stopped anyway.
I installed the apx files and tryed to get into S/W mode, but there it stopped.
I can not get in to S/W mode, i can't turn my phone on and when i try to charge it nothing happens not even the logo comes on, BUT when i try to get in the S/W mode i hear on my computer that it is connecting but nothing else than that.
So if someone have any idea on how to solve this problem please help me!

I saw now that when i connect my phone to the computer without the battery an APX icon appers in Units and printers, but nothing else happens...
Please someone, pretty please help me...
Have u tried AIO tools...it worked for me to flash The kdz file using that tool...
