[Q] few themes for cyanogen 6.1 - Android Themes

hey people.
I've rooted my wildfire with cyanogenrom 6.1 and i want to try some new themes.
The problem is that every theme i find for cyanogen dont work on 6.1 i have only found one, and its the prototype/pink theme. iIs there a thread for a list of themes or something?
Also, when i install the themes, should i do it in recovery with the theme renamed to update.zip? or should i use theme injector?
And i've downloaded theme injector but i dont really know how to use it because im supposed to get a new rom named "themed.romname.zip" right? i get 2 files one called rom and the other one theme
if i get all that working, do i have to wipe/restore to use the new theme?

well i had no problem installing this theme. i installed the M2DC to my storge card (dont think it matters where you install it) then i downloaded the theme and extracted it and copied it over to the themes folder on my storage card (yous may be on your device) and ran the M2DC under the themes tab it appeared then i tapped on it for a preview then hit apply, i chose to overwrite the files then it worked.
huh, y i follow the step already
but still cannot change the theme?
haih...
open to my document-create new folder-THEME-copy all new theme to this folder and go check to start-setting-today-check y'r new theme

Installing themes through Cyanogen Updater

This is a simple question, but I was unable to find an answer.
When installing a theme through CyanogenMod Updater, do I need to uninstall or revert back to the original theme before installing a new one? Or can I just install from theme to theme.
Thanks.

Click to collapse
you would need to flash/reflash a copy of the original rom first, then reflash the theme that you want but you have to make sure that the theme is compatible with the rom your using.
Thanks...but I already figured it out.
I dont' need to reflash or anything, I just flash theme to theme with no problems.

Well that entirely depends on what type of theme.
Is it posible to create a MIUI skin on a Gingerbread? Or is that impossible?

[Q] Converting a theme

Hi there,
till today, i used a DHD rom from rafpigna with revolution theme. Now, i flashed imilka RAM incredible (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=963521) with new sense version nad i am wondering now, if i can get the revolution theme here as well. I allready found it in the incredible section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=736487
but now, i dont know, how to convert it. I allready recognized, that the files in theme-zip-file are placed in a wrong folger hierarchy, but when i tried to use the same hierarchy as my actual rom (sd-ext) and pack it as zip (winrar), it wont install. Is it that simple just to change the hierarchy or do i need something else? How may i repack it to an installable zipfile after?
Thanks a lot,
cmoe

[Q] MattedBlue theme by jabbawalkee

Hello Im a new member of XDA and currently reading a lot of threads in the forums and they are really helpful.
I have recently rooted and flashed Cm7 to my Nexus S to mess around with it and see if i like it or not.
I like the extra features but however i cannot stand the launcher UI. I dont mind thats its the stock look but the icons on the dock settings on CM7 is not my taste.
I came across the Matteblue Theme by jabbawalkee and its beautiful.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768848
However im not very experainced and i do not know how to apply this theme.
I have downloaded the icon pack and the fonts but i unzipped the icon pack but Launcher Pro or ADW launcher doesnt recognize it in my phones SD memory.
Can someone help me how to apply this theme and flash the fonts.
Also i love the look of the stock dock in jabbawalkee cm screent shots and i do realized its from cm6? is there anyway in cm7 to make it look like the stock dock?
Thank
just download the right version of the theme for cm7. go into recovery and flash (install zip from sd card) it on top of the ROM that u've flashed. Just reboot and it'll be done. U'll have the theme running on your phone.
I cant seem to find the downloads? Only the " Other Downloads" that contain the fonts and icon packs.
i think he must've removed the DL as he must be coming up with the new version. just post in that thread for the download link. someone will mirror it for you. i don't use cm7 so i don't have the theme otherwise i would've uploaded it for u. i have infinity version of the theme though, if you are interested in that?
I need a download link to matts blue. I will try out the infinity version also.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA Premium App
I dont think i will be flashing other roms any time soon but thanks for your help.
Is Infinity a better Rom?? Ive been reading and lot of people recomended CM7 and so far i like it, nice and stable and speedy.
