I currently have the official fido 2.2 ROM installed on my liquid e and am wondering if this guide will apply to me

I need some help. Does anyone know of a 2.1 Rom that is rooted?
Everything out there now but the official 2.1 RUU....if you have 2.1 one on your phone now and you aren't currently rooted, you are out of luck until they get a working exploit.
Not sure if that answered you question, you didn't leave a lot of details. FResh, Damage, or the Zen MY Touch Slide port are all 2.1 one roms that maintain root.
If you are looking for a bone stock 2.1 with root there is a SprintUpdate2.zip file Damage made the day..well hour.. it was droped.
did you run the Official Final Sprint RUU? If so, you have lost root access.
If you did not run the Official Final Sprint RUU (IE only ran a test RUU, or still on cupcake), then the answer to your question is that all of the custom roms in this section have root access

I am a Hero user and upgraded to Legend.
But I am confused on the Root method compare with Hero.
Can anyone tell me how to Root my Legend w/o using custom ROM?
The method should be able to unRoot incase if warranty needed.

just purchased an acer liquid e rogers version but unlocked since then, i want to start messing with it, try a community rom or maybe the 2.2 leak, before i start i want to know if i can mess it up by accidentally locking it back to rogers? if lets say i re-flash back to stock rogers rom(found on one of the posts here)
Hi there! I just wanted to ask whether or not it was possible to flash a custom recovery on the UMTS Motorola Milestone from Telus?
I just decided to terminate my contract early and try the milestone, already "rooted" but coming from an HTC Hero where I was able to flash custom ROM's, custom radio's, custom recoveries and adjust or modify on a whim it seems a little irritating to have this "root" but still have to use the stock recovery to apply an update.zip in order to access the custom recovery.
Can the stock recovery be replaced?

hey guy i recently acquired a at&t note 3 on kitkat 4.4.2 i believe, im sorta experienced in rooting/rom installation but with all phones its always different. so could anyone give me the run down for rooting this device & installing safestrap so i can install a nougat based rom if possible?
The bootloader loader is locked so the phone can't run nougat.
