I emailed Seidio to tell them how I love all their Innocase/Spring Clip Combos, and I buy them on all my phones (G1/iPhone/Nexus One), and recommend them to other people (Captivate version). I asked them I would like one for the Nexus S.
They replied and said they don't have any plans yet (obviously) but to email [email protected] to sign up for newsletter/notification if they do.
I sent an email there but got no replies back.

If you really want it you can always use www.shipito.com (I have used them many times for restricted items) or a similar service. They charge USD 8.- per shipment and their shipping rates are very reasonable.
It's not even available on the Otterbox site yet, hopefully once they ramp up production Amazon UK will carry it.

Just checked on that case, one website said it's due out 13th September so it should be out soon. Although being 100% silicone I wouldn't want it to stick to my pockets and pick up dirt....
given the choice I think I'd rather get the otterbox one, the amzer looks more like it would stop minor cosmetic damage such as scratches rather than a knock.

This looks great i bought the Case-Mate Tough Case for my Galaxy S and this looks very similar to it so i have now registered for an alert when it becomes available and think I'll get one as so far its one of the nicest and most practical looking cases I've seen for our Streaks as am currently using one of those Neoprene pouches off of E-Bay as a temporary solution..

Which is considered to be the slimmest and best looking case? Defender,Impact or commuter from Otterbox? I think I am going to stick with the Amzer case it looks better to me. Here goes an updated photo on how the case looks. If you go through Amazon you can get it for 14.97.

Having looked at the Amzer case and the Otterbox one I think I'm going to get the Otterbox as it looks more capable of transfering shock away from the device.
The other Otterbox cases as posted by barry99705 will be interesting too. I'm going to wait and see what they look like when the pics go up.

Seen several ebay resellers from NYC on ebay with them when I bought mine last week. The defender is awesome and love the beltclip/stand.

Forgive me if I sound daft, but I have been browsing the forums looking for the best case that would protect my phone. I am deciding between either the Otterbox Commuter, Trident Aegis, Ballistic, Seido Surface, or the Best Buy Platinum Series Case. I am leaning towards the Seido, but have heard somewhat mixed reviews about how it attracts lint, and how it seems loose at times. What I am wondering is, I have heard that the Platinum Series case and the Seido Surface are exactly the same, but with a different logo. If this is true, why are people purchasing the seido case when they can save almost 20 dollars, and get the one from best buy?
Is there some difference that I haven't caught?

I purchased one from best buy, in store. They only had one so they must have a very limited supply. It was only $34 for the surface with holster. Great deal! I did take mine back as i just got my otterbox defender in. The case and holster were very nice quality though, no complaints! While the sedio is much slimmer i wanted the extra protection of the defender and the ability to place the phone in the holster screen out. I am using the holster as my car mount so having the screen out capability was a must!
I pcked my Best buy Platinum case on Sunday and it is very good quality. I am very pleased with how the case feels and how the holder works. It was on sale for $29.99.

The three best buys near me don't have any cases for the note 2 except the crappy flip cover.
I tried to get the PT case, but every store in Houston was sold out, except the one in the Galleria...which is an absolute traffic nightmare during Christmastime. I'm thinking of getting the store near me to to a transfer, or maybe they'll get more in stock.

Id also like to know if any one had tested the spen near the kickstand. Someone posted a pic of how the magnet curves lines where the spen is, can't seem to find it now though.
A good reason is that not everyone lives in the USA and has a Best Buy on the same continent On the other hand, Seidio ships all over the world, and as do eBay sellers.
Because Best Buy does not deserve my money. That place sucks.
I have the platinum bb case. It IS a seidio surface case and holster. I immediately checked out the Spen around the kickstand cuz I'd heard complaints about the seidio active, and I have zero issues. All works well.

I decided to feed the beast because they're close by and I did manage to find one in stock. Also a fair bit cheaper than buying online and having it shipped. Buy online for instore pickup FTW!
However, NO THANKS WHATSOEVER to the best buy at 99 and 1093. I asked those turdburglers if they were in stock at the store that I'm going to go pick it up at this evening...they said "NOPE". Of course, that store could have got stock in, but I doubt it. Furthermore, they didn't offer to do a store transfer that did have one (and I wasn't smart enough to ask.) Their customer service blows.

It seems to me that none of the big boys in the case market don't think there is a market to make cases for the Nexus line of phones (5x/6p).
I've sent emails to UAG and lunatik, a facebook message to Otterbox and got the responses that there is either no information or no interest in making the cases for these phones.
This is a call for you to bug those companies to show them there is demand for good quality cases for the Nexus line of phones.
Once the reviews come out there will be more demand but for now let's make some noise and email or flood the Facebook pages to let them know that we want the cases.
If we can show them there's people who will buy them maybe they will get their head out of their asses and put in the effort
Post who you have emailed and update with responses. With some luck and effort, we might be able to change their minds

I wish UAG would make cases for this phone, but it sounds like they will not. I already posted on their Facebook page day 1 and also filled out their online form that users can request what new phones they want added. However I highly doubt we will see any cases from them, they have great cases but their phone support is abysmal

I contacted Seidio and they said that they didn't have any plans at the moment to make a case for the N5X. Although I did hear this same answer from them before when the N5 came out. Seidio eventually made cases for the N5 and I'm hoping that they make the same cases for the 5X since I love using their belt clip case for my N5. I personally like to use a belt clip case because I find it uncomfortable to have my phone in my pocket.
Now that the phones are starting to ship, let's bug the manufacturers again

Just wondering if anyone is using one of the many Otterbox imitation cases that look nearly identical to the real one.
I'm starting a tech accessory business at a flea market soon and one of the cell case suppliers I signed up for sells them for $3.00 a piece. They sell about $12-$18 on Amazon and ebay
It sucks for note 8
