[Q] Recommendations for use while exercising - Focus Accessories

Now that I have something useful to listen to music with, I want to use it while running.
I have not come across many accessories to do this, but I did find this universal one:

Anyone have any pointers for the Focus? I figure something that attaches to an arm or waist would be appropriate.
I'll update this post with your suggestions as we go.
*edit - If this is as good as it's going to get, please post so.

If it says it can handle the size of the Xperia X10, then the Focus should be fine and this may be your best bet. I don't think there will be any armband accessories until the Focus becomes more popular so just go with this one.
But I don't really think that the Focus is a good choice as a workout MP3 player. I know I'd be on edge if I had my brand spanking new phone strapped to my sweaty slippery arm! That's why I've kepy my iPod Nano for working out--the perfect size.

Good points. But it's so shiny... Hard not to use it.

Another thread posted this link.
Perhaps the bluetooth route is doable

who are fooled ?
Funny you should mention car forums:
There was a thread in About forum where a guy suggested we make people register before they can click on links in the posts (like you have to do now with attachments).
The reason:
Someone followed instructions in a car forum leading here and tried to upgrade his phone to WM6.
Result: you guessed it - a brick.
So yea - I guess there are similarities.
Seriously though - personally I would never weigh down my Prophet processor with unnesasary decoration. The little spinning x-men logo covering the M$ flag is all I need, and I wrote that one my self.

Why stroll through life in monochrome, when you can cruise through life in living color?

Today plugin with memory, battery etc large gauges - Whats it called?

Used the app a year or so ago, but now cant find it or remember what it is called, which makes searching somewhat hard! Anyone?
See if anything here and look under Today here
Hope you find it.
I think it was part of another app, spb/ilauncher etc but ive checked both of those.
If you are sure it is not iLauncher or PocketPlus....maybe it is BatteryPack Pro (I think that is what it is called), from OmegaOne.
There is nice one being developed here called BatteryStatus. You can skin it as well. Here are the links for the prog...and some skins:

Its called metrix

Sorry guys i should probably have been more specific when i said gauges. They were like the rev/speedo on a car, had a needle and large (ie 50px) bezels with the info. Starting to think i dreamt it! Have been looking everywhere! I guess it could have been a skinned version of one of the above programs, but i really think i just installed it and thats how it came out of the box
Resco File Explorer has a Today plug-in that may be what you are looking for.

Good luck in your search.

I should have been more clear. I'm talking about the little loop strap for your wrist. The kind that usually has a little hole for on just about every phone but this one
I have never seen a smart phone with a loop strap attachment. Maybe you could point one out. I have seen a lot of feature phones with this, and almost every camera, but no smart phones.
Alternatively, maybe you can find a case that has one, but like you said, cases suck.
I had an HTC hero with a wrist strap and I serio usly miss it on my Nexus.
My only part-way solution is to get a 3.5mm plug (wire free) and connect the strap to that.
you can consider these, it will take a fair bit of weight, but will not allow you to swing your phone.
@t1n0m3n
most HTC has a hole for a strap, my HTC mozart 7 has one, it's a windows 7 phone.

[Q] Wristband for Galaxy Note 2

Hi,
Is there a Wristband for Galaxy Note 2. I would like to carry mine on the wrist, when I am on the move. I know that its a question, but I dont know if I should post this in this forum or the Q & A Forum since my question is about accessories.
Thanks in advance
do you want to wear the phone like a wrist-watch?
i suppose you can get an armband that tightens around your wrist.

Or get a case with a rotating clip and attach to your wrist with a separate armband

Or get a smartwatch

Wow you must have big wrists lol
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
LOL, these things come to mind from Chuck and Futurama and Fallout, but then google images yielded other results... I don't think this will be as useful as you think it will be, I don't think they will be really wearable until consumer tech proceeds to the level of Chuck's Dad's wrist computer... I know we are close but I'd say at least a few years before its a real thing that is useful.
But people have done it and I'm not one to stand in the way of progress, good luck sir, and I hope you have really long forearms.

Where can I get an really cheap functional phone for the elder?

The young like smartphones, but what also the elder? I think the function phone may fit them better. With loud and clear speaker, good GPS, big font and battery with long standby time, SOS etc.
Recently some people are talking about the V3S from vkworld mobile, it seems that it have attracted many fans, the price is $19.99 right now. Here is a pic of it:
