Can't access my downloads in market - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have searched all over with no solution. If I try to go to my downloads in the market I get server error click to retry or cancel to go to previous screen. Only does it with current gmail account. Wiped and tried with a different account and it works fine. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem on my HTC Legend 2.2 stock Vodafone.
I have tried clearing and uninstalling the market app / updates but this didn't help.

From what little bit I have found, even a fresh install doesn't work.

It is a growing issue apparently.
Using appbrain until it is fixed

Must have been an ugly glitch on the market side, seems to have magically fixed itself and works fine now

[Q - SOLVED] Facebook Contact Sync Error [Mod Please Close!]

Running Froyo 2.2.
So basically for the last 2 months, facebook contact sync has had the same annoying error.
"Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."
But the sync picture with the red/white exclamation mark is only by the Contacts. Maybe once every 100 syncs work.
I've tried removing the account and then re-adding it (and still get the same problem). I do have the Official Facebook app installed, along with using LauncherPro.
Any ideas? Also, when I sync Google, it works.
Thanks!
Tony.
I get the same error, but for some reason, all my contacts get added to the contact app.

Are you running Froyo (with a root)?
I had a rom a few months ago that would not sync my Facebook contacts at all. Did it have this syncing problem when you first put your Froyo rom on or did it start later?
It happened after. I think it had to happen after, because I had to do a hard reset to install Froyo, and it was syncing well for a few months (or weeks).
It could be one of many problems then. Do you have any other problems besides facebook sync? Market or anything else?

I'm using the one released on here, considering I'm in the US and it hasn't officially been released yet

I'd suggest a different rom then.

I can get Facebook contacts loaded into the Contacts on the Captivate, but then I have to join them one by one and the pictures get compressed.

Facebook app

Anyone else have this issue? Starting this afternoon my Facebook app launches the browser version of Facebook. It starts the app and acts like its going to load feeds and then opens the browser.

Opened Facebook app and noticed it's redirecting to m.facebook.com. Maybe something's wrong with the interface servicing the app....

There's a Themes & Apps subforum for these kids of issues. Please use it.
Yep, same issue for me, starting today. If you read the market reviews, there's dozens of similar complaints, all dated today.

Ditto for me. Uninstalled and re-installed fixed it. Hope it stays that way.
I have that same problem. I am running on a stock rom 2.2 from kies update. I am rooted but have not flashed a custom rom yet. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a total of 3 times and still have the problem and yes I did do a reboot after I uninstalled before I reinstalled. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I think we just need to wait for them to fix the app, sadly. It doesn't seem to be any issue with the phones or corrupted data - it's something in the app itself. With all the people complaining on the market, I'm betting they'll post an update shortly.
I was checking something with this app before I put my phone down for the evening. When I woke up my battery was dead. Check out the pictures, stay awake 7 hours and it was the biggest drain on my battery.
I'll try the uninstall and reinstall to see if it's any different. Cognition 5 beta 2
Use FriendCaster (Pro) and you won't have any more problems.

XDA app (free version) on Xoom

Does anyone else have FC issues with the free version of the XDA app on their Xoom? Mine consistantly force closes as soon as I log in to my account. It has also done it a couple of times when switching from landscape to portrait but does it every time I log in. Running stock unrooted 3.2 on a US wifi only with the free version of the app. I have tried uninstalling and reintalling but haven't tried a hard reset yet.

I have the same issue. I have uninstalled it. I am running 3.01.
I used to have this issue. I know there is a specific version that does not FC, ( I know cause I used to have it). I cannot remember what version.
If it helps, the premium version does not FC, and it's only 99 cents

Duh
I'm a dork, hadn't even looked to see how much the paid one is. Im on here constantly I'll just buy it. Thanks a ton for the replies!

Error 403 driving me nuts.

I've tried everything I can, from removing accounts to clearing cache and data. I've removed the account and re added.
I bought dogcatcher with account 1.
If I remove account 1 and add account 2, it still thinks I've purchased it. I've removed both and added number 2 back. Same issue and so far only with this app.

Did I got it right? Purchased an app with Acc 1, get an error when trying to update it with acc 2? Or is it just showing as "purchased" with Acc 2?
Showing as purchased which is odd. I don't mind buying again. It just won't let me.

Also note the phone refuses to connect to anything Google related. Google.com times out, there is no option to add a Google account anymore, Gmail fails to sync, play store fails to connect. Is there a gapps for the one i can flash?

After much investigation, it turns out it was my network, three.
However, the problem with 403 is still present. It's got so bad, I've had to buy another podcast app to tide me over. Looks like Doggcatcher is off the menu. Shame, but I'm tired of pissing about with this.
I surrender. Voice recorder pro is doing it now. Any ideas?

Same. Even after wiping and only adding one account, it still does it with the same apps. There must be a more serious issue. I can't use apps I've paid for and have to buy alternatives.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I thought I would try again today, still the same thing. I've had to BUY 3 alternative apps because the ones I bought will no longer download. Sick of it.
If any of you guys are still there, I made this thread with a solution to help solve this error. http://androidforums.com/internatio...ror-24-insufficient-storage-space-solved.html
It turns out that there is some residue data from installing the app before which leads the app to not install. It's tested and worked for me. Please gimme a thanks if it worked.

Thanks man, but didn't work for me.
I did a search for anything doggcatcher related on my phone, not a single file.
The only option I can fathom is to find an apk of it. I've paid for it, I can't use it unless I pirate it. Makes sense.

Apps unexpectedly closing

I'm running stock ROM and have been having an issue for the past several months where just about all apps unexpectedly close right after opening. I have factory reset five times in the past five months to try and correct the problem with no luck, it just happens again. I've cleared caches and reinstalled apps. Anyone having a similar issue?

This problem suddenly appeared to my HTC One today, while browsing with Opera Beta.
Since then it happened with other apps as well (Chrome and Messaging).
When I go to Settings->Apps->All Apps, the apps list keeps refreshing all the time, not allowing me to browse through the list...
Went to the att development center and, of course, all they suggested was another master reset. They didn't understand my need to have greenify on my phone. Said my problem was related to this app. I told them I just installed the app two days ago, but the problem has been on going for couple of weeks this time around.
