Custom Cut Vinyls for Droid Incredible - Droid Incredible Accessories

I know there's already a plug for this website in another thread, but I wanted to show everyone what is possible with these guys. This is a carbon fiber overlay for my Droid Incredible. I'd have to say it looks pretty rad.
Check out what else they have http://www.grfxpstore.com/store/Android

Awesome! Thanks

That looks really nice. Seems like it's only a sticker though, it would be amazing if it was something like the Invisible Shield with the design printed over it.

I mean, I guess you could call it a sticker. But it's a custom cut vinyl! It's way more resilient than a paper sticker or something, more like a foil. Plus I have an invisible shield under it

It isn't raised up that much because of the shield?

Probably not. Invisishields are pretty thin.

Exactly. It's basically like just having the invisible shield. It's not like I really touch those other parts of the phone so the thickness of the vinyl is a non-issue.

How easy/hard are the buttons to press? I have a $5 generic black smoke argyle ebay case on mine. Fits perfectly, buttons are easy to press, perfect grip, no lint collection, and has protected my phone from a handful of non-critical drops. So so far, so good.
I was thinking of trying the D3O case, but I was just worried about stiff button syndrome.
I work in construction as owner. Spend most of my time in unheated workshop and @ 30° I have no stiff buttons. It is molded soft buttons and works flawless. Notice it also has a backplate that is clear plastic that can be scratched but no big deal. Camera lenses is cut out. So much better in grip and also fits leather cases snuggly so it doesn't fall out as easy.

TPU is between hard plastic and silicone. It's perfect actually, it's not a hard case, nor is it soft and sticky the way silicone is.

i got one of the mesh cases from ebay china location. was perfect. snaps on. has a rubbery feel and doesnt interfere with the usb or headphone plugs. not the greatest for protection drops.. but allows me to hold the phone in my hand better..

I just use a rubber back on mine: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006ECAMY2/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works great, feels great. Doesn't slip out of my hands and adds a little thickness. I also figure it doesn't attract to much attention which is good.
I have dropped my phone on cement once or twice as sometimes I get sloppy and it works great on protecting it. LOL!

Reception for me hasn't changed, but then again I'm one of those guys that could care less if I lose a bar.
As for the color it's the grey one I got and its not green at all, I know what you mean by the pics though it does look a tad green but in reality it's extremely close to the titanium grey of the phone, just a bit darker and a matte finish.
Yea and no discount, I actually got it from their Canadian dealer here: www.mobii.ca since I'm in Canada it's just more convenient. roughly $110 cad shipped was the damage.

Looks pretty nice but indeed the cost is too high compared to what the unit itself costs. Plus I'm one of those that likes a soft rubber/pattern that provides really good grip and prevents having the phone slip from your hand (that's how my previous one cracked the glass).
Smexy. But not $90 worth of smexy, especially for a bumper. Heck that chinese iPhone look-a-like case costs less and it is a full case.
That looks awesome, covers!
Do you know how the quality compares to sweet armor? I like the look of both, but the sweet armor is on sale right now for $54.
Anyone out there have both of these bumpers?

thanks! tbh i think the quality ois realy top notch, a solid bumper for sure, other than that i cannot compare to the sweet armor as i dont have one.
one more thing i forgot to add was that it really doesnt add much bulk to the phone at all the sides of the case a really thin preserving the width of the phone. it does add to the height though which is no biggie

Got Bored from the Slippy Grip_Note2_N7100

Hi everybody,
Here you can post your experience about the slippy grip of your mobile (especially N7100), and how you've got rid of it; either with using special casing or without using any casing.
Thanks for your participation.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
I didn't. The Note 2 needs to be slippery for me so it can slip into my pocket.
I tried to use casing, but itmakes mobile looks bigger, also I removed the chrome from the bezel thinking it will help, although it looks more fun to me but still very slippery. I'm searching here and there, the only reasonable solution is to replace the battery cover with one like Note3 battery cover, but it's not available in markets in my country, I have to go through ebay or amazon

If you're willing to try; you could spray it with Plasti-Dip http://www.plastidip.com/
It will give your phone a rubbery/grippy feel, but is easily removed if needed.
You could either spray the battery cover with it, or also spray the bezel as well for ultimate grip.
I use an Imak Cowboy shell case; it has a really nice/grippy texture and adds very little bulk to the phone. You can pick them up for $10 on eBay.

I find the Ringke Slim case adds a nice level of grip, or rather adds a non slippery surface that's grippy enough. It still slips effortlessly in and out of my pocket. Also it really doesn't add any bulk at all. Try a search and I'm sure you'll see some photos.

I recall people using that method to give a 'matte' appearance to the GS2 plastic bezel.

I bought the G.Lider aluminum bumper case in blue from Casefanatic thinking it would fit the vs980 but no luck, the thicker back makes the case a little too small (sorry I can't post link, have less than 10 posts...)
I tried to return it but casefanatic is ignoring my emails. not sure how it would do with the screen protector, but if you want to try it for a lower price pm me if you'd like to buy it from me -- looks really slick and good quality, although I can't say how it'll hold up in the long term...
I have the second one on vs980. It was a little hard to get on but is great once its on. ( took out the little foam inside) Very solid feel. I've had a few drops from various heights and its protected nicely. No noticeable signal drop and all the ports line up correctly. Had to shave my charger down a little though to get it to fit in the smaller hole.I have an x gear carbon fiber skin and my phone is bad to the bone.

I have the silver bumper with the screws in the bottom right hand corner. Seems to be working absolutely fine so far, and doesn't really add all too much bulk to it. Only complaint I have is the nobbly bit where the case screws together. I use my phone with my right hand a lot and this digs into my palm. Phone signal and WiFi not affected by this case, yet to try GPS.

The screen is pretty much flush with it, I have a screen protector and that's why it looks like it sticks out. I used to like having a lip to protect the screen from scratches but I have edge gestures set up now so I like it to be flush
