I'm sticking with my perfectly functioning JL4 unless there's some reason why this build is drastically better than my current one.

[Q] The Best ROM ??

Hi
I have N1 and I tried so many roms in it but every time I face a problem
can you tell me the best rom you have and dont have any problems
because I am tired of installing and wiping
and thank you
Nice first post.
It's kinda lame to come ask us to tell you our OPINION about the best ROM, because you want to save some of your time...How do you think we found our favorite roms??
All roms will have problems, even stock google roms.
Don't be lazy, get to flashing. Titanium Backup does wonders bytheway.
Please HELP me i tried so many before posting this

It's really just the principle of the matter; no rom is better than any other rom.
Choosing a rom to fit your needs is the best, and most interesting (imho), part of owning an android phone; there's just so much to choose from!
If that's not your thing, there's a new shiny iPhone with your name on it waiting at the Apple store. *sarcasm*
Stock Froyo FRG83 = Stable
Desire Port = Beautiful
MIUI = Fast ( not Done but very Stable)
CM6 = Fast (not Done, not really Stable)
Depends on your taste..

And it all depends on what you need to use your phone for.
I am curious, however...Is CM6 really all that unstable?

hi guys,
i am new to thinking.
can one of you tell me is it better to try things out for myself (makes my head hurt...) or should i just let others do the thinking for me (easier!)
i am also new to teh internets.
can someone tell me where to get pictures of cats with funny captions?
i would google it, but its actually easier to create an XDA login, post something here, and wait for a response.
thanks!!!

I hope you meant for Fascinate? I refuse to flash other ROMs because yours has just the things I need and the best settings.
I've been having a problem where if I let my phone sit too long without use it won't wake back up. It drains my battery a lot more and won't turn back on unless I do a battery pull

oh,ok that makes sense. I still wonder what changed though. I was hoping for it to be gingerbread, but it's still froyo. I wonder how long it will take us to get gingerbread with our phones so close in hardware to the nexus s,it shouldnt take long. I'm playing around with it on a sprint hero right now,and I have to say I would love to have it on the vibrant.

This is probably a stupid question but, does this kernel include the signal drop reboot fix for i9000 roms or is that something I need to do in addition to the kernel? Also if Its not included do I intall the reboot fix before or after I install a i9000 rom?
Thanks in advance
