Seidio cases available for pre-order - Nexus S Accessories

http://www.seidioonline.com/category-s/5261.htm

want rugged case!

LOL, a 1600mAH battery for $50, when it comes stock with 1500mAH.
Too bad, only Innocase Surface, not Innocase II Surface, probably impossible since the phone is curved. Pretty sure this is the exact same thing as the Best Buy "Platinum Series" case, since that's made by Seidio anyways.

And it's been shown that Seido batteries are actually rated 20-30% higher than they actually are... their 1600mah battery will probably be more like 1350mah.

the only accessory from that list that tickles my funny, is the 1600 battery, everything else, i either already have it, or they are not worth it.

Ok who thinks these cases are gonna work out?

Even though they look exactly like the platinum case im sure it will be alot better quality with the felt inside them.

That might be true but I was hoping it was gonna be a slider case

The 1600mAH battery is currently listed at $0.00 on seidioonline.com. It let me check out with it at that price as long as I had something else in my cart (earbud covers).
We'll see if they actually send me a battery, or just cancel the order.

Can anyone confirm that they have the felt on the inside? If not they suck and will scratch your phone just like the platinum series they make for best buy

Was talking to a rep in a Tmo store today and they said they showed a case for the NS in their system

Did the rep mention which case?

Seidio just updated some of their products with more pictures. The Surface case is exactly like the Platinum Case series that Best Buy has. No word on how the inside of the case though.
The Active X case still isn't available for shipping nor do they have any new photos of it on the website.
As of right now, I'm going to hold onto using my G1 pouch until Otterbox releases their offerings to us Nexus S owners.

I have both the Commuter and Defender at my location. Thankfully I didn't have to pay full price for mine.
50$ at my local AT&T store, but worth it. Ruined my Inspire in a month without a case lol

I prefer the Defender line but on the Vivid it just seemed like a **** production on it. So I went with the Commuter case ($19) and and Invisible Shield ($8) combo.
Just got the Defender from Otterbox. Adds a it of bulk to the device, but certainly protects it from just about anything other than a direct munitions hit.
My only complaint is that static electricity makes it VERY difficult to get rid of dust behind the protective screen before assembling it to the Vivid.
My ATT store only had the blue one so I passed. I'll probably order the Commuter online since it'll be cheaper that way and come with a screen protector.

FYI, the Defender's Screen Protector is built in to the inner shell, and does not require separate application.

I am finding that the release tab for the holster is far too large; and is easily hit to unintentionally release the phone from the holster and drop to the floor/ground.
Can you place the phone with the screen towards your body instead of outwards like the picture on the Otterbox website shows?

Yes you can.
My only gripe about the defender case is that the kickstand(belt clip) feature isn't so stable when using it on portrait or landscape mode.
Looks like the Seidio Surface finally got released? I've been constantly checking on it since I heard about it on the forums. It's almost 50 dollars though.

Amazon's got the active too, although its out of stock. looks kinda bulky but im liking the kickstand. Also think the rubbery material = better grip vs the surface case's hard plastic. Kept dropping the phone onto my chest this morning using it lying down because I couldnt find a comfortable way to hold it without hitting the super large screen it has xP

Thanks! I swiped the last one. He/she must've grabbed them from a U.S. Cellular store nearby. Not sure how much they cost there, but that was a good price considering what Ballistic is asking for online.
If anyone is curious. It has been relisted. You can get to it following the link in the first post and reading the yellow bar. I just ordered one. Hopefully its legitimate. Seems legit. Lol
I think there is still one available if im reading the listing correctly. I need a case with a holster so to find a holster is my mission. ......

I had this case for the original note... Not my favorite. Not exactly ballistic, but pretty much the same...
will this case protect the screen, It seems like it raises a little off the front so I assume if dropped that should protect the screen. I'm debating between something like this and a flip case.

Well I got my Ballistic case in the mail today and as much as I like the appearance of my Seidio Active case, this is going to replace it. The Seidio looks very appealing but I doubt it offers as good of protection as this Ballistic. The rubber is thicker plus it has the reinforced corners which is this phones Achilles hill. For anyone that has a Seidio Active, the rubber has a smell to it and the Ballistic does not(dont judge me, its my phone and I will smell it if I want to). The shell is nothing fancy plus I will lose the kickstand function of the Active case but I dont use it much. The buttons on the Ballistic case stick out a little further than the Active. The best part is that even though it is thicker, I can still use the Seidio holster. The funny thing is I did the same thing with my Evo 3D except it was an Otterbox case with a Seidio holster.

kinda disappointed in this case or maybe I'm just not a big SG fan (more of a HC fan). The bottom lip and top lip is not tight enough nor will it protect it from a straight drop on the top or bottom. Will review and compare it with my ionic case.

Diztronic SGN II case in stock

I had their case for my Galaxy Nexus where it provided great protection and was also lightweight. I just ordered their case for the GN II and I'm excited to receive it. I went to the sprint store the other day looking for the bodyglove everyone has been talking about but ended up buying some bulky and heavy case from ventev.
http://tpu-cases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=42_83&products_id=326
No pics are up but Clay did provide me with some rough samples. This looks to be far less bulky than the ventev and otterbox cases. I'll post pics once it arrives.

My case shipped out yesterday so I should have pics by Thursday or Friday. As for cutouts there weren't any for the Galaxy Nexus and that did become a pain however with the few cases I've tried for the GN2 the lack of cutouts is not a problem.

ooh. looks like they will have a clear one too... don't want to hide that textured back of the GN2!
Just got my case in. I like it much better than the case from Cruzerlite.
Edit: First impressions. Love the matte finish and the smoothness of the back. I wasn't much of fan of the back of the Cruzerlite case, but I dealt with it. Vol Up/Down and power buttons seem a bit a "clickier".

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm waiting for mine. Bought mine on the 18th. Hopefully see it tomorrow as well.
Got the case yesterday and it is great! It doesn't slip, it's light, and offers very good protection. Without the case I would frequently hit the power button but there is less of that now. I wish I hadnt spent 30 bucks on that bulky ventev case from sprint.
If I didn't "need" a kickstand in a case, this would be my number 1 choice. Their case kicked ass on my Galaxy Nexus. This is the best slim type case with a great matte non slip finish, and the cost is always very reasonable. I wish Sammy made phones whose bodies were like this case lol.

I was able to get the case on with my DL and a CC in there. It doesnt fit very well, it creates a gap at the bottom and where the case meets the buttons on the back. Putting just 1 card in the case, you cant even tell its there. Keep in mind I have a AZ DL which is very thick compared to say a CA DL.

If someone could ship this cheaper, we Europeans would appreciate since it looks great

Has anyone tried the Poetic invictus

It looks pretty good, but I've had poetic bumpers for my nexus 4 that would fall apart every couple weeks. Has anyone tried it on the Verizon model? Poetic says it doesn't fit, but they could just be talking about the buttons being smaller.
Sent from my LG-VS980 using XDA Premium HD app
I have that case in black and it's ok for the price (paid $6 for it in the UK). It's very thick by my standards and will add extra 2mm to the phone but it feels very solid and snug so I am less worried now about dropping the phone. It scratches quite easily although I'm not that bothered by it. The stand at the back is nice for when you need it but I'm not sure the extra thickness to add that stand is justified by its usefulness. It's a keeper for now given the price.
Can't comment on the Verizon model as I'm in the UK...
I'm curious about this case as well. They are releasing a Verizon version on November 15th and I'm thinking about giving it a shot.
I currently have a Diztronic, which is fine, but I'd like to know what else is out there.

I have the white case and I agree with others the case feels cheap. Its the high gloss plastic they used. The stand also, is not very useful. I ordered an incipio to see if it looks any better.
Terrible case. Looks nice, but stand is useless. You have to press it back and hold it down to get it back to being flat and flushed with the case...this really is not going to protect anything.
