Nope! Just copy the .zip package to the Nexus S and choose "chosse zip fro, sd card"

Thanks for the rom. I am wondering if this is the problem with just me or if someone can confirm my browser location is shown weird. I tried wipe everything like data/cache and dalvik cache even battery stats but the browser location is still somewhere in europe and not in north america.
Can someone help please?

Confirms, works well.
Benchmarks overall are good. Flash sites and one with lots of images lag. Don't know if your experiencing the same thing. For example, go to androidcentral.com from the stock browser

Yes that is true, however, you have the ext4 hack in there which should improve this. That being said, I just played dungeon hunters and it was super smooth its probably related to hardware acceleration being off.

What this is...a 2.2.1 port from the I9000 forums.
What I've done...Added Eugene's data fix. Added birgertime's Signal Bar fix. Added Overstock v1.5.1 kernel. Added S GPS files and haptic feedback on home key posted by Heathen. Added no mms in call logs thanks to Br1ck'dAdded KA7 modem. Replaced csc files.Changed build prop. Changed a few other files such as Wifi as well as other misc. minor non-operational changes.
For best results use wipe version!

Yeah I wanted to do Darkys but there was a little more to it and I was sure about a coupl file so I kept it simple for my first try. I think you'll like this though as it is based off of the Darky series of roms. Also the blacked out market is way cool. Overall it's a nice themed rom Black and blue with the cirle battery mod.

He took it down to fix wifi and anything else that needs fixes. He said he would reupload once done.
I flashed the original version from the galaxy s thread, flashed Eugene kernel and KB1 Modem and the service.jar fix from Eugene. Is there a difference if i flashed this one?

i think he's gonna try to add the GPS fix files as well. but i don't see any other difference if you've already flashed those other things.

No difference. I'm just taking out the extra steps of flashing the kernel and modem. Oh you may have to change out wifi files and the gps files.
I have wifi working just trying to get GPS up and running if not I'll upload without gps. I think we can find a flashable GPS fix.
Lol I was already using this (downloaded from the i9000 dev section) I LOVE IT.
Wifi and GPS are working. Just gonna do a quick test flashing the whole rom again. Should have a fully operational port up in 10 - 15 minutes.

Yeah it's one of the cooler ones over on the I9000 forums. Like I said I just wanted to remove a couple of steps for those might not otherwise dive in so to speak.

This ROM is based on MCR with a few tweaks and mods of my own. It's meant to be light and fast and yet stable as possible. The changelog might show newer versions but it might not be out yet. Usually i will update the changelog to let people know what to expect in the next release. v2.3 will convert to EXT4 automatically for you. It's not recommended to use PP or any tweakpacks because it might interfere with the tweaks currently in the rom.

Instructions
1. Ensure your phone is rooted and have CWM installed.
2. Download the ROM and place it on your EXTERNAL SDCARD
3. Boot into recovery by holding [Power] + [Volume Down] buttons until you boot into recovery.
4. Navigate using the volume buttons and select using the power button.
5. Select "Wipe/Factory Reset" if coming from another ROM or from versions prior to v2.1b. (Not needed for previous version of BlazingDragon ROM)
6. Navigate to the external SD card and select your ROM.
7. Wait for it to finish flashing and reboot from CWM.

Mind sharing a screenshot and just a flashable ZIP with the theme?
I got a couple of Force Closes so far, the Quadrant results are "normal", around 3000 points. The theme is standard Gingerbread.
I really wish those controls on the notification window. I don't know why removing them is considered a good idea. Also the LG stock music player seems very good compared to the standard Android.
Anyway, it seems to be a great rom. Thanks.
LE: the Eternity Project kernel 1.5b works without problems with this rom.
With 1.5b kernel, i have 3700 quadrant and 4900 Antutu bench score. All working. Thx

Same surprisingly even on Darkman CMH2 stock with CWM recovery… It gives the same error and maybe a CWM error?? Ihave not tried TWRP..

Is possibile to use this Custom Firmware for Screen Mirroring (Allshare Cast) with Samsung-Dongle? The last Roms can not use for this Function. I have no Problems with my old rooted XXBMA7 Version.

If I can help you in any way, I like doing it. The problem seems to be that the ROM status can not set the status to "official" and flash counter to 0 with the app "Triangle Away." Screen Mirroring (AllShare Cast) works well only when the status of "official" and Flash Counter can be set to 0.
Most custom ROMs (omega / revolution) that works on my I9300.

- Miui have too many features, just explore you will be impressed
- Select custom ringtone from MIUI Music app

- I recomend you to use FlyOnMod Script for muuuch more performance
- the rom becomes more stable after a few reboots
- to fix the call screen late bug just go to settings>programs>Call Settings>Answer Settings and DISABLE Enforce Proximity Sensor

First time installing CyanogenMod 7.2 to your Galaxy Ace, or coming from another ROM:
Install ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.8
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)
Install ext4formatter
Install the kernel provided at Download links
Reboot again to the Recovery using 3-button-combo
Mount system, data and cache
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
Upgrading from another build of CM7?
Do a Nandroid Backup!
Wipe always recommended but Optional.
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery

Wifi Tethering is a bug of base rom but whats wrong with play store. Explain it as play store is working for me

yes playstore update bug. i fixed this problem. use playstorefix.rar on @Trickster22 kitkat rom

You can try installing latest play store version. Download it from apkmirror.com then install it as any normal app and overwrite it. Then try flashing this from recovery - http://www.mediafire.com/download/95eh8ybl4917m9t/playstore_492-498-fix_EXT4.zip

best rom for s5830i
its a good rom i enjoyed it so much but it has some problems, when ever i shutdown automatic brightness it won't boot and i must reset it to factory settings through CWM.
another problem is themes cant connect to server for me
i wish there was a way to use buttons light as notification light
also there is a messaging app in xperia U miui rom which has an amazing priavte messaging(you should scroll up in messaging to see the lock and after openning you can see messages of your private numbers) i wish this port of miui had that messaging
I added FlyOnMod in the three first reboots it hanged but after that it got so fast thank for your advice
I love this rom so much that i don't think i change it

Our device's libraries are not compatible with auto brightness. So better turn it off.
Themes problem is related to base rom but I am finding solution for it.
Button light is not a pre MIUI feature but I would try to make it work.
I would try port as many features I can find compatible and messaging too.
