[Q] Samsung I9000 and bluetooth headset NOKIA BH-505 - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I would like to ask could anybody help me. I try to use my Nokia BH-505 headset with Samsung I9000, but sound volume is very very low. I tried to change various Volume settings in ServiceMode but it did not help at all.
Thank you for your help.
Cheers

can u clarify BH 505 perfectly works with samsung galaxy s

Here is the same issue, but with BH-217
As i found out -the reason is great feature - adaptive volume control. It works just fine with Nokia phones. And it even works fine with Samsung Galaxy S2. But to get to work corectly with Galaxy S... it pain in the ass... i am still searching for solution...
Mabey there is some BT driver issue, as it works with SGS2?

[Q] Getting Bluetooth Mic to Work

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab running stock SCH-I800.EC02. My largest complaint about this device is that, when paired with a bluetooth headset (specifically the Samsung HM3500), the Tab does not take audio input from the bluetooth device. I'm fairly sure it's not the HM3500, as I can use it easily with an old PocketPC smartphone with which it is dual-paired.
I acquired a shell root (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12279079&postcount=3) and proceeded to modify /system/etc/bluetooth/audio.conf according to http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-795691.html. In short, I enabled Headset, Gateway, and Source in the General section. I also set AutoConnect to true and HFP to true. Master remained at false, however.
After doing this, I still have no audio input from the HM3500—the Galaxy Tab's internal mic is still the one being used. I have tested this both with voice search and with Skype. The headset receives audio output perfectly fine.
Would anyone happen to know how to make this work? Does anyone have bluetooth configuration files and, also, /system/etc/asound.conf from either a Samsung Galaxy Tab or other similar device which actually uses the bluetooth mic properly?
Thanks so very much!
yea, i'm having the same problem and i have a rooted galaxy tab 10.1. i've tried everything that i can think of. any help will be appreciated. thanks!

Hi guys, i am currently using Rocket Rom v23 and abyss kernel. At first my bluetooth device (wp 250 creative headset) is working just fine. But after several days the bluetooth is not working anymore even though it can recognize the device but when i connect it there is no music playing.
i tested my bluetooth device and it works on my sgs and itouch
i tested my galaxy note bluetooth to pair with sgs and it works
-what i did to resolve it before was to go back stock rom then v22 to v23 but it is hell of a work.
can u pls help me to work around this issue? thank u

I remember I had this problem with Sennheisser MM100 headphones a while back. From memory I unpaired and removed the device, then re-paired the phones. I may have done a reboot of the note after I unpaired the device, can't remember as it was a long time ago. I have not had a problem since.
I have the same problem as kwelito_88. I managed to use my Creative WP-250 headset for just 3 weeks before it decided to stay mumb on me.
I "unpair" the headset with my phone but now my phone just couldn't see this headset when it scans for devices.
Any one out there know how to get both gadgets working again? Thanks.
Do you have a BT laptop you can try pairing your Note with? If it works that will rule out the Note as the problem.
You've probably already fully charged the headset and checked that they are definitely in pairing mode so that the Note can see them? My Sennheisers are bit touchy and didn't go into pairing mode properly until I pressed harder on the switch button.

Thanks! I can now confirm the Note is not the problem.. it pair & connect to my BT laptop easily.. So the Creative wp-250 headset is where the fault is. Guess I won't be looking at Creative products for a while.
Thanks for the tip
Hmm. I have a duff/non-compliant Jabra headset too. That tip with pairing with "known good" worked a treat.

[Q] No Bluetooth Audio on headset

Hello Guys..I moved from the HD2 to the Galaxy S2 and all hell broke loose. The phone connects and pairs with bluetooth headsets and the calls come in and go out as normal but no audio can be heard. I have tried it on 2 headsets, 2 cars..Same result. I have tried pairing and unpairing, soft resets, turning the volume up etc and most all other things. Please help. However the media audio works. In the settings both the phone and media are checked.
