Password?

so.. I woke up today and looked at my Kaiser and it's telling me to enter a password to unlock it... I never set any password for it.. and I've tried 3 times.. and no luck..
If I continue trying will it lock my phone?
and what caused this?
I just woke up and it was like this.

probably somebody.... got ahold of your phone and set a password on it . I believe u can unlock it by just calling ur phone, or soft reset

No one touched my phone. I always have it on me.. soft reset doesn't work.. I have to take out the battery, but why would it automatically pop up like that? it was fine before I went to sleep.. then when I woke up it says enter password. Ohh.. calls didn't work either.

If you keep trying, nothing will happen, it's not a SIM PIN code, so don't worry about locking your phone. Soft reset won't help.

Xperia password problem

Hi all,
I hope you can help me a friend has a xperia and he has setup a password for it but with letters and with the touch screen keyboard, but now he can not enter letters only numbers i tried everything(soft reset, hard reset, start up the bootloader etc.) but nothing helps.
I can not connect it to my pc with ActiveSync, i tried several methods to hard reset the device.
- left&right + power button
- left&rigt + soft reset (power + volume button)
- left&right + stylus in back

Has anyone a solution how i can reset or flash the phone.
The date inside it is not important, important is just to make the phone usable.

Try using the keyboard, DUH. Turn off the function or caps toggles.
The password is CAPS specific also
so if it is something like 2hOmosapian
then if you type down 2homosapian
it will not work, you have to type down exactly as it is suppose to be: 2hOmosapian

Is it possible to reset the password or to format the phone some how.
I managed to get the touchscreen keyboard on the display and i am entering there teh password but it is not working.
Aojo00 is the password that has been set.

I have tried the same you were into and also i failed to hard reset my device
Are you using the updated ROM version or the original?
I have updated my ROM version during March

First, the passwort-protection is useful if your X1 gets stolen, therefore any hint given in an anonymous forum on how to override this does not feel right for me. If official bought I would go to SE service.
Don´t yell at me because I bring that up, but if "your friend" has bought the X1, beeing aware of using a business PPC with WinMob, with all the opportunities to tweak, tune, configure, so not a simple mobile phone, why does he ask you to help him with his password?
But if the password is the one your friend has set, and everything is legal, I wonder if the "0" (zeros) could be "O"´s or "o"´s, too much of them in the password for my taste.
Sorry, but even if my thoughts are not correct in your special case, you will agree that we should not help people with this toppic without asking questions, right?

There is an important side i would like to bring up.
I believe that there is a lock after certain times of invalid entries, in other words.. after some wrong entries, the system will lock down for some time even if you have entered the valid password during that lock-time.
So, my advice is to keep nice interval between each bunch of trials, say 10 min. top
Am i missing something?

Isn't there a puck code? To be used after failing to enter the correct password after three times?

Galaxy s screen problem ?

Hi guys. I'm on the phone screen when I press the power key (right one) screen is black. But the screen itself opens (automaticly). And again and again (for example every 2 minute , sometime every 30 second !) . I installed another rom then installed my apps. but after a week i have a problem again

Factory reset followed by a return under warranty if not fixed .

I have done factory reset before a week

Either something is waking up the phone, message, or some sort of interupt, or there might be a loose connection that is causing the phone to think you're pressing the home / power buttons when you are not.
Difficult situation to asses, if doing a wipe install of new ROM's do not help, I would consider flashing back to stock and looking into warranty with your provider.

My Note wont work anymore! help!

so I had a problem with my Note after i was dumb enough to install paranoid on ICS when they said it worked with ICS but it doesnt im assuming. Anyways, after working on the phone with some help from an XDA member, the phone completely shut off and will not respond to a charger, the usb, or another battery that I tried out of my friends phone that was fully charged... ive tried all the hard resets and blah blah.... whats next?.... It was a soft brick before this happend, so idk what to do now, I am stuck. Also its a international Note from the philippines and USA SAMSUNG WILL NOT HELP AT ALL. Which is BS. Here is the email that the samsung.com/pa sent me..

this does not help because there is no samsung center anywhere around me that I am able to find, and also they will not fix it in the UNITED STATES. Its samsungs phone but they do not honor it unless it was made in the US.

dude i have faced the same situtation in which phone was not reacting anymore to anything whatever you do put a charger, change battery, try to turn it on. but there was no sign of life in your gn.. your motherboard is damaged like mine it need to be replaced you must have to send your gn to sams sc otherwise there is no hope.. or you can look out for a motherboard online and try changing it yourself.. good luck :laugh: i am getting my fixed gn tomorrow form sams sc.. too much excited

just one question..can u get into download mode?

guess the only way is to send it to a customer service center in phillipines.. cuase sound like a fried note..
even new charged battery with vol up+power+home does not work at all?

I take it you tried these steps already...
-connect the device with the pc [usb]
-volume up + home + power.
If that does nothing... try finding someone [or order] a jig, which might get it into download mode.
if everything else fails smack your head against the wall and get your device fixed by samsung.

Yes I have already done everything except the Jig... samsung wont help, they suck. I cant find a motherboard for it online either..

made a jig.. tried it, does not work at all.. any other advice?

Mine did exactly the same today, connect charger, shows the empty battery sign for few seconds, then shuts off...

GT-S5300 locked forever? No other way around?

So this phone is from my friend. His GT-S5300 is pattern locked. He forgot the pattern, email and password. I've tried every possible way I could think of to unlock the pattern.. First is going to recovery mode to factory reset the phone but there's one big problem.. The phone's Volume Down button is broken. I can't scroll through the recovery options. Then I thought about using ADB.. Too bad USB Debugging is disabled and yes I can't access the friggin' Developer Options because the phone is still locked. I tried tearing down the case and manually tried to press the Volume Down trigger without the actual button from the external casing.. Unfortunately, the Volume Down trigger is totally broken and it's not working. Yes I also thought about using ODIN but I can't access Download Mode without Volume Down, right? The only way would be my friend remembering his email and password but other than that is there any possible way?? My friend frustratingly can't remember his email and password which is a sucker. Any help would be cool!
