THANKS for quick reply: maybee you know how to flash only that file ? ( or) - how you get that file? You must used modified rom or not?

I got that file with Clockworkmod recovery. I don't know how to flash it, I'd think with "fastboot flash boot boot.img", but I don't know for sure!

If you got it from clockworkmod recovery than it is not orignal then modificed rom, so and boot will be modificed also.

[Q] When do I flash boot.img?

Hi.
I've got a problem. In all of the tutorials I read about how to flash ROM:s, it says that I have to flash boot.img through fastboot, then enter recovery and flash the ROM. I can not do this. When I flash the boot.img, I can not enter recovery or anything, I get stuck in a bootloop and have to restore through flashtool. When I flashed Taylor_Swift's 4.3 ROM, I flashed the ROM first and then the boot.img, it worked, I got up and running, but after that I couldn't enter recovery and therefore not obtain root access, making the ROM almost useless because the lack of the Battery Calibration app. Now I want to flash the PAC ROM, but I'm not sure how to do with the boot.img part. If it's relevant I have the lockeddualrecovery as my recovery.
Help please

No special order, really, as long as the kernel (boot.img) is fully compatible with the rom.
I'd flash PAC boot.img first though. Flash boot.img, then enter recovery and flash the zip containing the rom information.
Usually you should flash the boot.img that came inside the rom's zip and it should have a recovery, than you will have to install the rom from the recovery.
Don't forget to factory reset/wipe data inside the recovery.

[Q] Installing custom rom on unlocked Z failing

Unlocked rooted xperiaz..
installed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190936
(tried also with cwm)
After entering recovery cwm or twrp i can choose ROM: (tried paranoid android)
I'm on the latest stock firmware btw... 244..
After flashing i only get a red light, and nothing else works.. can get to flas mode and flash stock ROM, but everytime i try a custom rom it fails..
Where am i going wrong? I Know i **** up somewhere, but can't see where...
Try flashing the Kernel from Paranoid Android by itself. Inside the rom's zip there ahould be an image called boot.img. Flash via fasboot on Flashtool.
Now enter recovery and follow the normal procedure.
First of all that link to TWRP is for locked bootloaders. You need to have an unlocked bootloader to install a custom rom
To get recovery just flash the boot.img which is inside the rom .zip folder
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then enter recovery and flash the zip then gapps.

[Q] Back to stock

Hi all,
I am a HTC guy and I'm not that familiair with the Asus way of flashing things.
So just to make sure I'm not doing something wrong here.
I want to go back to full stock including recovery and stuf. I have a WW version of the TF701.
What I found online is this:
- Flash http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=3210 in recovery.
- flash latest WW update from Asus site.
Is this the correct and safe way?
Thanks
Frnas
Yep. That should work. Flash stock recovery, then flash stock rom.
Stock recovery? Is that included in the file from Droid basement?

Nope. But the flashable stock recovery is on the same page you posted.
CWM won't flash the stock firmware - I thought. But Droidbasement says otherwise... Try it and let us know!
AH, glad I asked it.. So I must:
- flash the recovery from droidbasement in CWM
- flash the ROM from droidbasement in the flashed recovery
- flash the latest ROM from the asus site
That's the right order?
I haven't looked at your link but I don't think you can flash the stock recovery from cwm. You will need to fastboot flash the recovery from your computer.

The instructions at Droidbasement state that the 4.3 OTA is flashable from CWM. But you have to be on the latest version 6.0.5.1.
Maybe they fixed it. With earlier versions it was not possible to flash Asus firmware in CWM, but these guys know a lot more than I do, so I would trust them.
You do have to be on the 10.26.1.18 bootloader though!
The site states it's a full system/kernel flash so it probably won't replace CWM with stock recovery - don't know.
Check once you flashed the OTA.
And don't forget to wipe /data in CWM before you flash anything.
