beautiful widgets - Don't shrink icons in landscape? - Android Themes

Is there a way to use Beautiful Widgets in which the icons don't shrink when you go into landscape mode?
I use a Dell STREAK and I use it primarily in landscape. I have tons of real estate available and yet in landscape mode, BW shrinks the icons. It is kind of sad since they look so good in portrait mode, yet are so tiny and spaced out in landscape mode.
Any suggestions?

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

How to stretch image in Landscape??

I'm trying to use my own pictures as Today screen image
ISSUE 1: I've no idea why, but the images i download from here for wallpapers fit perfectly into WM6.5. Images i use that used to also fit perfectly in 6.1 are now tiled, the bottom task bar is showing the top of the same image instead. Just that small problem.
ISSUE 2: Images i use are tiled in landscape, any way to stretch it? I tried using Theme Maker X but that program has the same issue, only one image for Portrait and Landscape, hence Landscape is tiled. Weirdly i cannot place a different image for landscape in that program , i thought i could edit and resize it.
Any work arounds?
bump the thread
images should be 640x640 to work best and eliminate tiled problem

G.I.M.P Help

I need some help with GIMP. I have a landscape launcher png that I want to rotate but every time I rotate it the gray and black checkerd background stays up and down and I only see a little bit of the picture.
create a new image with the dimensions flipped and then move it
thanks for the reply. I'm actually not gonna do this anymore. I put the portrait launcher on my phone and it looks like poop so I have no reason to mod the landscape.
mods you can close this if you would like

After you rotate it using Layer > Transform > Rotate, you have to adjust the canvas to fit the layer with Image > Fit Canvas To Layers.
I have been using GIMP for years and am willing to help you if needed.
or for future reference, just go to image>transform>rotate and it will rotate the whole image and not just the layer

(WVGA - WAD2) Navigon startscreen landscape

This might be the lowest downloaded thread ever, but if you use Navigon Navigator for Windows Mobile, trial can be downloaded here and you are using Wisbar Advance Desktop this little wallpaper is very handy.
I do use some themes in WAD2 which are Portrait only. But when you start up navigon it will be automatically starting up in landscape mode. As that takes time you are watching the default ugly landscape WAD theme.
You can change wallpaper in that landscape mode, so when you are firing up Navigon you will see this instead of the ugly default landscape theme:
Not much people will use this combination maybe, but I share it anyway for the few who do use it... High Quality image is in the zipfile

[Q] Is there a way to use FULL landscape homescreen for icons?

Hey lil annoyance with the homescreen and icon/widget placing. Which I understand it lines up and fits right when you hold it vertical.. I prefer using my device in landscape mode. I hate how the left and right sides you cant use for icons and so.
Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a workaround for it or if in the future a custom rom could even change that up?
I use adw ex. You can add more, the normal setting is 4x4. I increased it with adw to 6x6. That's the most I tried though because 6x6 fit well in both modes. I think any higher some would get cut off in portrait mode
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Ok Ill give it a shot, low memory footprint I trust? Also would this be similar to Cookie Tab?

[Q] Landscape mode homescreen?

Hi all,
Anyone know if it's possible to have the homescreen rotate to landscape mode?
Hope it's not something HTC overlooked.
Thanks.
-changed title to landscape
Portrait mode is upright l Landscape is horizontal _
Anyway simple answer...No it wont..Installing another launcher will sometimes allow rotate on homescreen but not always, I have edited rosie on the orig sensation to rotate but none of the widgets fitted nor did the launcher buttons...
On the hero we had to use a Mytouch 3g Rom to allow rotate, Maybe wait for a new mytouch thats qHD then try porting it

Woops, knew I shouldn't have posted after having a few beers
It's a pity, it'll look good in landscape mode I think.
