In-call recorder? - Milestone 2 Themes and Apps

Is there a in-call recorder app working for Milestone2?
I tried several applications from market without success

Don't they work at all or record only your voice?
I tried Record My Call
but due to Android limitations most of the apps including this one record voices only via microphone, so my voice is ok, but the caller's voice is very very low or there is nothing at all ;(

they record only my voice, the trick would be to activate the speaker during the calls, but it's not the same...
I don't think it's an Android limitation, my old Xperia X10 mini works fine with several apps

Because the software can only record through the microphone... the Crystal Talk feature (noise cancelling) of the MS2 will treat the caller's voice as noise and "cancel" it.

i use TotallRecall. it records only callers voice. i cant hear MY voice

It would be nice if we had one call recorder native on cm10.2

there is! you have to install xposed framework and use the call recording module search this forum....

And also MoKee Rom with autocallrecorder.
So, at least we have 3 options and all of them are 4.3.1 Jellybean
Greetings

Automatic Call Recorder works fine on my a953. worked using CM10.1 and 11.
:good:

I also think, that the xposed call recorder would be a good solution.
Their work is great!

Guys ,
Can anyone recommend the best call recording software ? I wouldn’t even comment the built-in Voice Recorder which auto-stops recording as soon as you switch to another app. Not to mention it does not support recording calls .
as far as I know, there is nothing than can.

I used an app similar to this and it sucked. You could barely hear anything. It would have worked best if it was on speaker, but I dont like the idea of letting everyone hear all of my conversations.
you cant record conversations on MOST wm devices unless in speaker mode....its a hardware limitation.
as for the OPs question on call recording software, pls see the wiki here

I don't think it is hardware limitation - rather they have made it that way - to prevent tapping.

Call Recording on Xperia V

Is there call recording capabilities on XperiaV
I'm running Motorola Defy right now with working CallRecorder from Killermobile. It was some messy installation with root and some system files....
Anyway, my dealbreaker is to be able to automatically record my calls!
Anyone?

Works a treat and simple to set up.
Well, case is solved
A quick visit to the local store and my XperiaV is on my desk.
Installed TotalRecall and it works lik a charm without tweaks!
Yesterday it worked fine a few times. Today it works only randomly.....

app i mean is skvalex callrecorder, there is a thread about this app here on xda, it works only with root and kernel with two way recording capability
I have full root access for the moment.
Tried both CallRecorder from Killermobile and Callrecorder from Skvalex
Still, the apps records my calls in a random pattern.
Sometimes the apps records with perfect quality, sometimes it does not record at all.....

Maybe not.
I would be less frustrated if it did not work. As it is now it works sometimes and sometimes not....
In my opinion it is a proof for that the kernel does support two-way recording.

It is no must, you can still record over speaker or Android api (which is okay)

The app CallRecorder from Skvalex works perfekt.
I use a bluetooth headset and the settings as follows;
Unit = Other
Record calls from = Android API
AndroidAPI-source = Uplink+Downlink
RootAccess = Yes
Wow, voice quality is awesome, at least compared with my Desire S.

[Q] call recording

Anybody know how to record a call on Xperia SP? I tried so meny different apps but no success...
If the kernel don't support it you can't record the call.

So? What about SP kernel? Supports recording or not?
I have interesting experience with different apps. Sometimes my voice is OK and the other side is soooo quiet, sometimes my side is OK and the other voice is sooo distorted...
I test all apps for call recording in sp, and finally found best of them
Stock kernel basically don't allow two way call recording, but there is one add-on that make it possible
Just do this:
Download and install call recorder and find ALSA add-on for call recorder
Then choose ALSA as recording method(root required) and BINGO.....
record all call like a charm

Other party voice recording on Froyobread

Hi,
As I'm not allowed to post on Froyobread official (witch need to be organized)
I'm still the last version V023b, everything is working fine. Except some random issues with bluetooth notifications..
I was able to record conversation before using All call Recorder, but since I moved to this ROM...
Mic recording works like a charm but Call recording apps are not working !!
Is it relied to DSP manager ?
Any ideas that can help me make some tweaks..
Thank you

Call recording on android 10

Did anybody test if call recording programs like ACR Cube Call Recorder still work fine with android 10 like it does with android 9? I've contacted Samsung support via Samsung Members and they refused to give me an answer because they say it's still in Beta.
I use Cube ACR and on android q it doesn't record anything. However I haven't tried recording when loud speaker is enabled or with headphones. It could work but needs to be tested. I really hope there will be a workaround for this (without root) but tbh I don't think it will happen
Call recording is blocked from the kernel and is only allowed in certain local versions or custom roms. It has been a long time since it was implemented. It is very likely to be maintained in the new versions because there were very many signs of user dissatisfaction but Google did not react positively.
So I bet it won't work in version 10 either.
I have Android 10 final on Galaxy S10 and Call Recorder not working. Only working Call Recorder Skvalex, but he is comercial.
Changing csc to THL still does the job for the native call recorder. That's what I'm using on 10
Skvakex works for 100%? Never heard of it tho but I'm gonna buy it if it works

It is worked for me. Trial 15 days. You can try.
Thanks, but I'll pass it for now. I've left a bad review on play store for cube acr, and they replied with a message how to set up the app on android q and it works! In case anyone wondering, you have to select voice recognition (software), and then the slider beneath to 100%.

Cube ACR uses Voice communication (software) for Android 9, but also has that option.
As I wrote on an other thread, the bad thing of call recording by Skvakex is about BT recordings, the other side is not recorded.
While the native call recorder (changing the csc) works fine and you can still use SkValex for recorded file managing.
The bad thing on this case, is when Android Auto is connected. Native call recorder does not start when a call is enstablished.
This is with Android 9, but I think nothing is changed with Android 10. I'm afraid that the final solution in any case is root...

As I wrote, even SkValex is good for "normal" calls without root...
No and no.
But so does cube acr which is free.

Same thing if you are on earphones or headphones (wired or bluetooth), it only records your voice, but it's just because the speaker is far from the microphone
