[MOD/THEME] Blue Epidemic v.6.0 [4-13-11] Apps Updated [5-27]

This Is mainly for everyone running virus rom. Or anyone with stock framework and htc.resources.
Shouldnt matter if you are/n't running the power control notification mod.
Use at own risk on any other ROM. Only attempt if deodexed and if they didn't change scripting in framework.
Confirmed working on:
possibly BAMF 1.6.3

Lightning !!!!May need wipe!!! Make back up before attempting, if it doesnt load right, boot to CWM and do a data/cache wipe
If you test on another ROM and it does work let me know so I can add it to the op.
Includes all of virus' blue theme, plus many extras
Its a W.I.P so subscribe to the thread for updates
flash .zip like normal. It is tested and working however like any mod do a backup first and use at your own risk.
If you notice any broken images, or ones that just dont look right please let me know

I had already done something similar with the battery circle but nothing else. The one problem I have with the theming of this rom is that there are no colors on the arrows when you're in 4g. If you could do this that would be great. Thanks.

Did you already have a post with this mod or did you just do it yourself and not share?
What is the icon for 4 g? I dont have 4g here so i have never seen it.

I posted a few all blue batteries and an all green before in this forum under a request for a circle battery. I wish I knew how to change other icons.

The charging icon is also white, not sure if you want to change that or not.

Would it be possible to lose the "LTE" vertical letters? makes it look cluttered.
Or, make the 4G larger, lose the lte and the arrows. Then, make the 4 blue for up and the G blue for down. Not sure of the difficulty level here, just an idea.

Dropping the lte could be done. If there is enough requests.

Gimmie 10 and ill whip it up.

I like everything about the mod except I miss the way I had my battery show the percentage every second or 2 when the battery is being charged. Love everything else. And I don't mind the LTE being there.
If you don't want to change that could you let me know the hex code you used for the rest of the blue so I could try to change that? Actually, either way could you tell me the code? Thanks.

This should work on all Sense ROMs out right now, not just Virus.

Thanks for the mod, it looks great. Is there any way the charging and bluetooth icons could be shaded the same blue?

I say virus because he themed a lot, so it still has all that in there. Im not touting this as a full theme because that would be ripping off his work basically.

bluetooth isnt blue when connected? framework images show it should be blue when connected.

I thought it would be but i was connected sending a photo when i took that shot and it was still grey.

just checked. mine goes blue when connected and paired

Ok guys I will try to find the solution. You all are HDPI, but it works on N1, so it should on any HDPI device. I will look at this issue.

On my setup.
The mobile data switch in the statusbar pulldown has no button image.
The buttons in gmail have no image just the text label

Saw that you needed HDPI testers. Ran it on my Droid, but wouldn't load though. Said it wasn't compiled correctly. Beatiful theme though. Hope this helps!

HDPI at the first post let's try it out guys

installed on mdpi device and is looking pretty good
but why not make this theme different from all the rest, change the black status bar background to a white background?
every theme has a black one and its kinda 'depressing', this theme is ideal to put a white one because of its white looks

Themed framework, tw and systemUI for Continuum 6.2.1 beta 1

Here's my blue themed systemUI.apk, framework_res.apk and tw_framework_res.apk Continuum v6.2.1. beta 1
UOT cooked framework and systemUI with some icons for the pull down menu and text changed in the systemUI and framework files too. Modded lock screens for the rotary, android, puzzle, R2D2, and Four Tab unlock screens. Animated Blue Battery version M, animated pull down drawer background, customized drawer header and footer, Android Bubbles boot animation, blue icons everywhere.
The wallpaper, home screen icons, etc. are not part of this. They are parts af GingerFire Blue's Icon Pack along with Launcher Pro Plus and Continuum wallpaper.
Install through the recovery menu.
Clear the dalvik cache.
Be sure you go to "mounts and storage" and mount system and data or you won't get any changes.
The boot animation file will not over write the stock one, you have to extract sanim.zip from system, media in the dl'ed zip then go to system, media and paste it in overwriting (unless you change the originals name) the original sanim.zip
This is a work in progress.
Don't change the name of the zip or it won't flash!

Probably a dumb question, will this affect the options of the notification bar, that are part of this latest ROM version? Or only the colors?

No and NO. Part of those new options are the colors, basically when you turn them on it turns off the standard style which is what I themed. The icons, background, header and footer for the drop down menu will stay but if you choose battery % the battery icon will be replaced by text with a % sign, hide signal strength will do just that, etc.

Thanks, the style was from 10tonhammr (credit given in the credits), I just made it the color I liked. It is a killer look for swype though.

So after many weeks of me tweaking this I finally have something that's worth while. It started out as just the icons and then I got a little theme happy and added a whole lot more. I tried to stick to the same Suave scheme of things as well.
Carrier Banner, the T-Mobile carrier banner on the left side is in the theme already, I can make other banners if you'd like on my spare time. You need the MIUI Extended Settings mod to be able to use it though.

If you want to use them in a ROM with lower version of Android or in a other phone, you have to check where the correct icons are located (framework-res.apk, systemUi.apk, ...) which depends on your ROM.​

Can you make a flash zip cause I can't find my PNGs files under XML. Looks great from the pics. I'm on HTC Evo 4G on aosp 4.0.4 cm9 base rom.

I will not provide any flashable zip file because I won't have time to make it for millions of ROMs.
By the way, there are a lot of easy/one-click tutorials over XDA world to make our own theme.
Also, it seems the icons used for AOSP rom are different from stock HTC rom.
So you have to adapt them by editing or renaming.

The "drawable-***" folder could be found in the "res" folder after decompiling the apk (SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk,...)
