[Q] Debugging on Windows 7 Pro x64

I recently updated windows 7 64bit to SP1 and my LG P500 to Android 2.2.2, so I don't know which one of this may have caused this issued.
Can anyone help me on this?
The issue is illustrated in the picture attached, however I paste the error here when trying to enable adb drivers:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
Is there anyway than turning off the need for signed drivers?
thank you

I am also using Win 7x64 Sp1, and I am not facing any issue like this. You might installed the wrong drivers, try uninstalling the drivers then connect your phone to pc. Wait as it might auto install the drivers again from the backup drivers. Let me know if this helps.
@mansi: do you debug my holyyyyy rom???? :-O
to the problem:
if you have problems, try uninstall the drivers and reinstall. give your account admin rights -could be help, possibly deactivate UAC.
rohit mandiwal answered me in stack overflow.
Followed these guide and I everything went fine
http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic127187.html
Maybe something about this should be sticked? I believe that more and more developers will experience this issue in the future.

[Q] Developer Unlock WP Devices (MaxUnsignedApp = 10) Problem

Hey,
i read the thread in the Hacking Section and because iam a new member here i cant post in this thread.
My problem is that i tried to unlock my Phone (Lumia 820) via this Tool (aiyingyong the chinese one) and i get an error after downloading an archive or something like that. See the picture.
I have Win 8.1 64bit, Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 but no WP8 Emulator. But everything else is working like WP Power Tools, XAP Deployer and Unlock and Locking the Phone for Development.
I tried to change the name of the Phone and started the chinese app as Admin.
Just this Tool wont work. I just want the 10 unsigned apps instead of the 2 that i have right now with my free Dev Account.
Can you please help me?

Why don`t you guys try the "Dreamspark/Intuit" trick and gain the 10 apps limit?I know its a little frustrating with all those translations but at the end it`s worth to have a try.
Thanks CV bro for reply....
But...Now My problem solved and my phone is unlocked for 10 app....
@thread OP....check that thread at that page 10 and ....And follow the steps....thats work perfectly.
Same problem but not getting fixed
I tried it on my Lumia 520 and I too have this problem. I tried the ways mentioned by the member in 10th page of the TUT on doing this but failed. It justs downloads something everytime when i connect phone ( a 10 MB file which i see in the directory of the software). I tried deleting the device drivers and installed it again, failed. I renamed the phone to Lumia 920, failed. I installed the softwares from various sources including the attachment provided by the member who had given some steps for this problem but failed. I did everything until Step 4. Connected the phone to the PC without internet on both, and this error happens http://snag.gy/SYnU2.jpg and if i try again with internet on in PC, it downloads something ( http://snag.gy/MGPVd.jpg ) inside the Chinese software and the Launcher Error ( http://snag.gy/ps4P7.jpg ) shows up.
I tried it many times and tried with names Lumia 520, 920 and 1520 but nothing works.
I think its some problem with my drivers though my pc detects it and i can even register and unregister it through Developer Tool provided by Microsoft.

* I did one more thing on My PC...when i was getting this http://snag.gy/MGPVd.jpg error.
Goto Control pannel > Region and Language > Administrative > Change System Locale > Chinies(Tradistiona, Taiwan).
Apply And Reboot....
Then Uninstall Chinies tool and Repeat the same process what i have mentioned in previous post....thats it.
Hello, sorry for bad english language I'm italian and I'm 14.
You have to click CTRL+R, write "intl.cpl", go to "Administrative" and click "Change System Locale", select "Chinese, Simplified, China", and once applied click Restart now.
After reboot it should work, if you can't do it here's a video that explains everything. (It's in italian)

[Q] Setting up a test environment

Can anyone advise this rookie user how to set up a test environment to use with an Android Studio project?
I recently installed Android Studio on my Windows 7 laptop and put together my first simple app. When I tried to debug it, I was offered two pre-configured test environments. The first was "Nexus 5 API 21x86" but when I tried to use that one it told me I needed HAXM. After much research I worked out what I needed to do to install HAXM but the installation file gave me the following error message:
VT_Not_Support = This computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x). HAXM cannot be installed."
I therefore turned my attention to the second option "TestDevice". When I tried to run that, Android Studio reported:
emulator: ERROR: This AVD's configuration is missing a kernel file!!
emulator: ERROR: ANDROID_SDK_ROOT is undefined
I Googled the error and found the advice that I needed to install "ARM EABI v7a System Image" but when I ran the SDK manager it told me that this component was already installed.
Can anyone please tell me either how to overcome the ANDROID_SDK_ROOT undefined problem or advise how otherwise to set up an emulated test environment that works on my computer.
I am an experienced programmer but a complete novice when it comes to Android Studio, all the associated applications and Android devices in general.
Many thanks in advance for your patience.

Keith, have you tried enabling VT-x in your BIOS settings?
Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't aware of this BIOS setting. I will give it a try but may not have a chance to try it out until the weekend
This should do the trick if you have compatible CPU.

/dev/kvm uis not found

Hello,
I'm new to android programming and I just tried to emulate my "hello world" application.
On top of the "your virtual devices" windows there is a message "/dev/kvm uis not found".
I already looked into this error on google :
- VT-x is on in my bios
- Haxm is installed (in the SDK manager it is marked as installed with version 6.0.3)
- I also enabled DEP in windows and in my bios
Why do I still get this error?
I'm trying this on a windows 7 system with administrator privileges.
Hopefully someone can help me...
edit : It seems that haxm is not installed correctly, if I perform this command "sc query intelhaxm" I get an error that the service is not installed.
if I try to install haxm manually I get the following error "failed to configure driver : unknown error : failed to open driver."

Also in the SDK manager I can't seem to find it.
btw, I thought KVM was haxm?
