Ok This is list of apps I've downloaded from the android market.
I hope others will follow what I'm doing an upload your apps list make people happy on doing so.
You can back-up your apps with a program called 'AppManger' (at my knowledges you can download it everywhere) you can install the apps with it to.
Just check menu>settings>applications>Unknown sources on.

Need video chat / conference testers

I recently published my ReelPortal video chat/conference software for Android 2.2 (using Adobe AIR 2.5) at the AppsLib market:

I don't have a G Tablet, but would like to compile a list of devices that the app works on. So I'm looking for testers out there.

I just added another version reelportalX.apk (version 1.0.1). This version is working fine now. I suggest using it instead of the older one.
You must get Adobe AIR 2.5.1 from Android Market, or you can download the Adobe AIR SDK (http://www.adobe.com/products/air/sdk/), and get it in subdirectory runtimes\air\android\emulator, or runtimes\air\android\device. I found that Adobe doesn't allow posting the AIR apk on a website. Note: don't use the AIR link in post #6.
If you want to test chat with other folks around the world, please join the "xda" room (all lower case). Capacity is limited .

Beware of TNT dashboard:
MoonPops: I kept getting the black screen while starting up ReelPortal in the TNT dashboard home, but it works fine in the Android Home Classic screen interface.
Firmwares that were confirmed to work:
Stock TNT 3588 (do NOT use TNT dashboard)
TnT 4.1.0
TNT lite 5.01
VEGAn-TAB-v1.0.0B5.1

I installed Adobe Air and your. apk and everything installed fine. Web cam and interface came up and seems to work fine. Only problem is, I don't have anyone to chat with, so I don't know how well that works......lol.

I was going to try between my Gtab and emulator.
Air installs ok on my emulator, but reelportal.apk says "application did not install" ...

Same experience here. Stock 3389 with performance pack. Grabbed Air from another XDA post (2.5.15320). It just comes up to a blank screen.
Can those who got it to work link the apk they located?

You are correct on the server. It routes the data from the clients to each other. However, the clients can also do peer-2-peer with each other (this is the default mode). When first started, the clients all connect to my server to sign on. The server checks for name conflict and room availability, and authorizes the session. If you are in a room, the server connects you to all the clients in the room automatically. Of course, you can call individual person if you know their name(nick). You can also disconnect from any client you want.
In p2p mode, all video/audio traffic goes directly from client to client(s). The server doesn't have to process it. If you select client/server mode, then the server receives your stream and distribute it to all subscribing clients. This lessen your uplink bandwidth if you have multiple subscribers.
The next version will allow you to specify your own server. And yes, you can run your own server on linux, windows, or macOS. And perhaps other platforms too, if you are inclined to do so. An older server version is currently available from my download page, but I will release the newer version in conjunction with the next client.

To test, you can actually call yourself . Once connected, press button 7 (P2P), and select "Send to Server" mode. Then, press one of the "blue head" on the right, then press the ">" button on the dialog. A list will appear, and your nickname is the always the first one on the list. Click it, and you should see your own stream feeding back to you. Basically:
Your video ----> Server -----> Your device
Or if you have a computer, just run the web client on your computer, join the same room on both devices, or call the other's nick to establish connection. Hope that helps.

If it's a blank white screen, then perhaps it's not finding the server. Is your internet connection available or slow? Ideally, I should have some status indicator to be a bit more user friendly.

I also tried the adobe air file posted here, but reelportal apk only opens to a blank screen still. What are we doing wrong?

can u retry...if the install was ok, then i suspect either the connection is slow, or my server is busy.

I ran a brief loopback test under low 4g in Philadelphia. Performance looked good but I was unable to select front camera on EVO. I will play with this some more but front camera access is a must.

Thanks. Apparently, the front camera can't be access at this time . I googled this:
"AIR does not currently support the front camera.
In fact, the Android OS does not natively support the front camera. The device manufacturer provides a separate Java library that makes the camera available to Java apps."
I wonder if Android 2.3 supports multiple cams.
Also, is the front camera access problem the same for all tablet devices? Or is it device dependent?

List Of Games That I Tried On WP7 HD2

As I Can't Live Without Games On My Phone, The Very First thing I did after unlocking WP7 on my HD2 was searching for games.
Unfortunately I haven't got an activation code yet so I couldn't use the market,
So I downloaded some games Using 3MktPlace and installed using Tom XAP installer and sometimes using WP7 application deployment.
So here's a List of the games I tried but didn't work:

This was the list of games that I was able to download (other games gave an error while downloading in the step of "processing file")
anyways I heared That there will be some update and actually these games might work. Let's hope so cuz there are some good games out there for WP7.

That depends... live demos from marketplace are all working, but ~half of the same apps sideloaded with tom xap installer are not ;>

u downloaded these games from the market or sideload??

Star Wars Cantina sideloaded. All other stuff from the Market.

fruit ninja don't work....badd....give error on screen...not jump

Sideloaded 'Monopoly' worked.

Actually most games should work via sideloading by now...at least that's what I read right now in certain russian forums
Will try tonight. It's such a blessing when your native alphabet is cyrillic and your language is similar to russian, so you can read relatively freely

I have also tried Fruit Ninja and Undercover to deploy them in my device but after a while i get an error code says that i can not deploy them due to the fact that my phone is not activated.. I need help please! I install them using Marketplace on my pc... I also tried with Xap installer but when i press deploy it just stuck there and do nothing! HELP!!!!!!

Make sure ur Device is unlocked using Cheveron and while installing make sure it's AWAKE and screen is not locked

My device is already unlocked and my screen is awake..I know the procedure!!
I can deploy apps just fine but i can not deploy games!
the error i have is : Error deploying to the device. It seems to be a licensing problem with the application.

how did you get those games? did you patch them before you deployed them?

Do you use Tom XAP installer? cuz I've been using it and it works just fine

why don't you all just get your devices activated and then install the games LEGALLY through the marketplace... this would be in reference to the paid games...

maybe they can't due to the activation code, but it is not the subject.

1> Be sure you can side loads to your device.
2> Download the file from this link -> <-
3> Install ChevronWP7 Ringtones.xap to your device and then run ChevronWP7 Ringtones.xap
4> Wait till it displays -> Ringtones added… and CustClear.provxml underneath <-
5> Download the file from this link -> <-
6> Install TouchXplorer.xap to your device and then run TouchXplorer.xap
7> Navigate to -> My Documents -> My Ringtones click on CustClear.provxml and select Copy from the Application Bar.
8> Navigate back inside TouchXplorer to the Windows folder and Select paste from the Application Bar.
9> This should scroll right to the bottom and put a copy of CustClear.provxml in the Windows folder.
10> Download the file from this link -> <-

Put the device on airplane mode while connected to Zune, it wont relock.

This method doesn't work with HD7 ASIA.

You were right it is 7.0.7390.0 i was running 7.0.7389.0 plugged it into zune and instant update i wonder whats new?

Didn't work on HD7 unbranded...

I was trying to unlock my phone (HTC HD7 carrier: A1 telekom austria) with your tutorial unfortunately the unlock worked but I didnt get the NoDo Update.
It still says my phone is up2date...So did anyone got NoDo on the HD7 so far (in austria) with this workaround?

No, it won't.

this is definitely not working for me.
1. Unlocked as described above
2. Hooked up to Zune, no update
3. rebooted phone, no update
4. removed SIM-card, no update

WOW!!! Strange that u are in the UK and using O2 yet u still cant get it. U the first though. Here is what you need, search for my other thread called HERE IS TO FLASH TO NODO WITHOUT GOLD CARD.
After you flash your device up and running in no time u will get another update, that one will be the official update from MS using zune.
My method will give u OS:7.0.73890 then the zune will give u the OS:7.0.7390.0

Yes that will do it but it gives me a us keybourd thanx

And i'll lose my sideloaded navigon !!

I'm on O2 in the UK and there is no update for me after using this method.
If I use your update without goldcard will I not lose all my data and texts from my phone. Also what about my linked contacts from Facebook, live and my outlook account?
P.S. closing Skype finally let me unlock the phone.

Also, is the connection manager the same as the HTC connection manager? Or should I uninstall that first before sideloading?

I know the Store has shut down since last 2 months and most of the Microsoft services for Windows Phone are already dead or cut off. We all know that we can no longer download and install apps in the Store and now we depend on cracked and/or deployable XAP files and APPX/Bundle files on the Internet. But can we share our "surviving" installed marketplace apps thru one app? Like maybe making an ALTERNATE store for WP...
Well, Microsoft would (maybe) not care if we do this since Windows Phone is dead so why not give it a try? Sharing our installed apps (by extracting it from their Installation Folder and zipping it/recompile it) to others would help a lot, especially for users who don't have time to bother buying a new non-Windows smartphone.
Also can someone make or share a "Tap the tile to lock phone screen" app? I desperately need one because my power button is broken.

I would share my installed software if I would know how to retrieve them.

You can (for XAP files) using this method from this YT video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buWOsHd6jdg
The method works for SD card apps.
For Internal, boot phone into Mass Storage Mode (you need to root your phone using WPI). Then, in your PC, go to MainOS > Data > PROGRAMS. Copy either everything or a specific app (via GUID), and do as what the video also show how.
For APPX or APPXBundle apps, go to WINDOWSAPPS folder whilst in PROGRAMS (internal) or WPSystem\Apps (SD) directory. Then, copy the app files.
For APPX, those without any similar names of the app.
For APPXBundle, those with similar names of the app plus the cpu architectures "arm", and "neutral" (there may be two more of those "neutral" ones, but join them also).
Then create (on your PC) a self-signed certificate, pack each package (for APPXBundle, pack them app but put into a seperate folder so that they wont join in the others), sign them one by one, (for APPXBundle, pack them into a bundle, and sign them (again? idk)), and your done.
To check if they're deployable, i recommend deploying them one by one on an emulator or on a separate device. If you deploy one but fails, the tendency of the app with the same app GUID installed on your phone being uninstalled is high.

I know many people still using Wp 8.1 and still need install App for Wp, but Store closed. Waiting for help ! Can some great devoloper do that ? Sorry my bad English !

That request then times out after a while since it goes via akamai and probably tries to hit backend servers that no longer exist (504 Gateway Time-out).
Unfortunately I never captured the traffic while the store was still working, so the question is how to figure out what to reply to this.
