Guys I got my acer liquid E and I am very happy with it.... but lately my liquid is restarting in a loop and the back of my liquid is very hot and I just only playing solitaire and listing to the music.....
Another thing that was happening to me was that my liquid didnt want to charge and it was restarting again in a loop. Or I was charging while the phone was switch off and suddenly it was booting itself.....
I planning to go back to acer to ask to fix it....
My question is.... " do you liquid users got this problems, too thanks in advance"
Depends what rom you are running, and the apps you have.
in my experience, that same thing happened to me when i had skype installed on roggin's cm7 rom
I'm on my 3rd acer liquid E. All of them, battery problems.

About 2 months ago I was drunk and fell down with my phone in my pocket. I cracked the screen and that seemed to be the only damage. Touch screen still worked fine.
I had just gotten layed off about 2 weeks before so I didn't want to pay the copay/deductible whatever you wanna call it to get it replaced for just cosmetic damage.
Well not too long afterwards I realized my phone wouldn't mount via usb and I had an odd issue of when I slid the keyboard open while with an active text entry box the leeter 'x' would appear.
I upgraded my rom and both issues ended up disappearing (although they didn't appear with the same rom for weeks until the incident). Well now with cyanogens latest rom the problem with the x appearing is back. No one has mentioned in any of the cyanogen threads the same problem.
So basically, without trying to clutter his thread, has anyone else had similar problems? To me it seems like it is just time to pay for drinking too much and get it replaced, but if its a certain problem that happens randomly I can still deal with just some cosmetic damage.
I had the problem running cm 4.2.1 and now with 4.4 it seems to not have the issue anymore. This is just messing with my mind, I can't tell if it is a hardware issue or rom specific for me. No one seems to have the problem but it comes and goes with the builds I use.
Alright, I had an all black G1 that broke and I sent it back to HTC for repairs. Got it back worked perfectly, Had it since August then gave it to my dad since I felt bad for him (LG Vu). Rooted with latest radio and Danger SPL.
This activity just recently started happening. The phone if powered on wouldn't wake up from sleep and now when I try to power it on the phone's backlight just turns on. No vibration or G1 Screen.
He always had wifi on and screen at 100% but I don't see how that could of damaged the phone considering HTC did stess tests on the device before it was even released.
I took out the old mobo and put in a new one and it seems to work but I really don't want to give up my G1 mobo since my G1 has a dead camera flex port.
obviously sounds like there is something wrong with the motherboard but could this be fixed?
I can't access fastboot, recovery or normal phone.
only random times it will decide to boot.
Any ideas?

My first Complain about this phone is the card reader sometimes unplugged.
then I go to the service Center and they tell me they Upgrade the BIOS.
so this Problem it's Finish.
and then not longer ago.
My Liquid Turned off automatically when it's Battery were more than 40 Celsius.
I've go to Acer Service Center but it not works

Yeah I got the cardreader problem too... the best remedie is to take the card out and put it back again....
About the batery... Yes I got the same problem.. Its the heat that make my lquid restarting in a loop..... In standby its will do nothing. But if I start to switch from homescreen to another homescreen it will start to heat up on the back from my liquid... until I listen to the music or playing solitaire... it will restarting again in loop and the back of my liquid is so hot.It amaze me that the plastic body doesnt melt...I planning to go to the acer customer care ask to fix it.....
PS. To reduce the heat use setcpu to clock down the speed.

The last few days I've been trying to revive my friends Galaxy S i9000.
He brought it to me when his screen all of a sudden wouldn't work anymore. All that it puts out are faint green, pixelated lines.
At first I thought it to be a crashed ROM or something, so I hooked it up to Odin and started flashing.
Two days later I've been through a whole lot of ROM's, ranging from stock Froyo's to custom ROM's with SpeedKernel I run on my own (still working ) Galaxy S.
All to no avail. The last ROM I flashed is the stock Samsung Gingerbread one, and I can hear the phone booting with the startup sound and all, even hear the keytones when I go over the touchscreen.
But still... the screen is either black, or when I wait a while after booting, looks like the image attached to this post.
I'm starting to think this is a hardware problem. I have already opened up the case but can't see anything wrong, all the connectors and ribbon cables attached to 'em look just fine.
Any suggestions or should I just get a replacement SAMOLED from eBay?

Haha yeah I guess... but it still functions as a phone, with the startup sounds and all, vibrate also works, it's just the screen that's not functioning like it should...
The problem seems to be with the screen, get it checked by any local mobile repairer if it isnt under warranty !
Hi I have a Z1, BL unlocked, currently on LineageOS 14.1. My problem is, sometimes the screen will just froze and unresponsive to my touch, and I dont think the issue lies in the ROM as I have flashed few ROMS (LP, MM, Nougat) and most of them share the same issue. I can get rid of the issue by pressing the power button to turn off the screen and turn it on again, thats why I dont think its a hardware issue. Furthermore, if I flashed back the stock Sony ROM the problem goes away completely.
Mabye some bug in ROM. I have similar problem but with stock roms. On android 4.4.4. screen works perfectly fine, but on 5.1. when it gets little bit hot when I type on keyboard phone clicks random keys. I have installed protective glass so I think that is my problem. Does your phone get hot, do you have installed protective glass?
