Request : For A Pink Theme For All The Ladys

My problem is i'm a noob to android and i'm on all the android sites everyday just reading and trying to learn. I have 2 eris , bogo free, one that hasn't even being used on a plan and the other one (wife's phone) which as soon as 2.1 came out I upgraded. The leaked 2.1 runs great and my wife loves her eris but I would like to install some of the custom themes for her and also enable OC and Wifi tether. But I dont know how to compile kernals etc. So if anyone would like to write a pink theme (pink keyboard, background, etc.) or point me to one that is already out I would appreciate it and im sure there are other female eris users who would like it also. So Thank You in advance for any help.
Also I realize I can install this on the leaked 2.1 phone but I'll just deactivate that one and switch to the other phone that has never been used and has 1.5 to get root.

There is a pink sensable theme. I don't remember where it is but I have the file if ya want to pm I can email it to ya... I believe it was called droiddoespinksensable or something of that nature.
I'm not taking credit for it but this what I found if you're rooted.

I made the DroiddoesPink rom. it was based off of senseable. I posted it on Android Forums. My wife then informed me that she wanted a Twilight them so I did that. The pink them will be a little outdated as in not haveing the overclocking and some other fixes but I could upgrade it to include all that if I can ever find some free time lol.....when Android Forums comes back up you can check it out and I will see what I can do with it.

That sounds great I'll check it out when the site comes back up. Will it have a new version number if you add OC etc.

The theme looks great just a couple of questions.
1. Can I change the background image to one of the ones I posted.
2. Can I flash the OC update that posted here on XDA.
3. Does this have wireless tether already.
4. And finally since I'm a noob is there anything that I haven't asked for that if you were doing an update to this theme that you would include.

1. I can add them to the rom if you would like or you can just put them on the sd card and set them under pictures.
2. I will enable OC in the rom before I post an updated version.
3. Yes it already has wirless tether.
4. I will add apps2sd also. I will pretty much update it so everything is current in the rom.

System updates are disabled. The update rom is uploading now and I will post when the link is ready. I won't have time to do a whole write up tonight on it but basically it has OC apps2sd and based on newest leak now. Overclock goes up to 864 I believe but I would not recommend going over 768. My phone locks up any higher then that. The pink isn't 100% complete so you will see some blue or green pop up here and there but most of the major stuff is pink. I'm concentrating on my erislightning roms's right now so won't have time to really polish this up anytime soon so If anyone wants to work on it let me know and I will update the post with credit to that person. I did add the 4 wallpapers suggested at the beggining of this thread and they are found in the default wallpaper folder if you want to change between them.

Show her speed benefits and show off some LWP, that along with the pink theme was enough for my wife to allow me to root. I made her do it herself, think it's necessary to do it yourself to learn at least a little. Oh have her type out all her apps, my wife was pretty ticked when she lost all of her apps.

I never released the twilight theme and haven't updated it for my wife yet either. It was pretty much my Eris Lightning rom with some Twilight Icons and wallpaper and the dialer keys were a little different. When I update it I might post it but not really sure when that will be...

[HELP NEEDED] Theme market

Hi!
I've looked through almost every .apk but I can't seem to find the folder where all the images for the Market.apk is.
Please tell me if you know how to theme Market.apk.

Make it from source so it's newest version, or if you don't know how to compile, use vending.apk from a recent aosp build. I have a themed version of Market that has stayed that way for more than a month.

Technically you could consider CM-updater as the closest thing possible to summerboard. Just gotta add all the sources yourself However, if metamorph had a theme download plugin it would be VERY similar (no rebooting usually, devs can add their own sources every new release). Anyone wanna make a formal request to Stericson?

Ok, so the test versions I posted still didn't work on the Milestone. This probably means it's something very simple that I'm overlooking. I've updated the original file but the changes are pretty minor and shouldn't affect the N1. It *may* work on the Droid but I kinda doubt it. I'm going to try to get some help in the google dev forums. In the mean time, please spread the word if you like it. The more testing, the better!
Keep in mind that this is only a test version and that I plan to put it in the Market at which point you'll want to uninstall this one and get the real thing.

Is there anyway that you can edit the registry of the DFT LEO WP7 Rom to show the device as an HD7 or LG? If this can be done before we flash the Rom then we will not need to install ChevronWP7 to edit the registry. Do you even think this is possible?

first time you connect your phone with zune desktop, there is an option for you to change your phone name. It works for me.

Mdeejay great to see you, dont leave android, because soon, all peolple will be back to Android, because WP7s sucks....no Copy\past, no share funcionalits, etc...etc....really sucks..even a simple youtube vid i cant share to facebook, looool....just a fresh look UI experience for 2-3 days.

I would like, when U will also continue developing Android SD ROM-s (especially GingerBread) for dual boot with WP7 and Ur first WP7 ROM will cam soon I hope. ( Everybody from this forum waiting, I think)

Suddenly i'm getting after Doodle God a USB connection error? restarted and again unlocked phone, clicked on xap file and it seems he is in installing progress but after some seconds again USB error

Make sure your phone is turned on and its not locked, as Doodle God is a big application, it take some time to install so when its installing your phone should be unlocked and turned on

Can you tell me where exactly were you looking for these apps, bcoz some are games and you need to look for them inside the xbox games folder and for other apps you need to access the start menu by pressing the arrow on the right hand side of the screen.

I ran broken dread on bo 2.0.1 and Still looks great, only issues are that 1)there is a black bar across the top of the calendar app and 2) the screen shot icon is a battery bar. Any way to fix this?

that would require editing a lot of xml's. Takes time. I believe somebody is working on porting some of highlimits themes.

Those are easy to fix just replace the battery image in I believe
Framework-res.apk just extract change replace from zip to zip and push
Same for the Calendar.apk (no xml edits needed)
I believe spchicks posted a how to theme tutorial on these forums, That is how I learned. Its very easy Once you get it all set up which is the hardest part.
p.s. These aren't meant to be flashed over the new rom, They have not been ported. They are for others to port or change. I do believe JohnnyAn is the guy to talk to But if it works it works.
